we've been told 'asap' for the last year and a half. We're not technically 'supposed to be here'. -_-

paper was submitted in Sept, and we were told 'in 5 months', we'll get answers. 7 months went by, we asked again, and were told 'no more than 9 months from submission'
so... anytime this month ... though i'm not expecting anything because the military doesn't get anything done.

I was laughing because posts kept popping up about the typhoon, right? But the weather board was like "Nothing is out there"
People were sending them links like 'hey, theres a typhoon' and the weather board was like 'nope. nothing out there is headed for us' even though... yes ... yes there is.
Two days ago weather board was like "Oh hey! There's a typhoon coming in a day and a half"

I facepalmed.

We're assigned to be here for 4 years. (it's been almost 2)
But someone fucked up in Germany before we got here; we should have been sent back to the USA. Because of the oversight, we're here instead. Which we were happy ish about. I mean, its Japan.

Hahaha. June to November is typhoon season, so lots of rain and wind and wicked humidity this time of year. Its not terrible. I love the storms.
