Eve calling Reggie a doof...Small reference to the altiverse, very small. Smaller than Eve herserlf.

I also have a sort of flashback idea between Bloodstone and Eve, what basically marked her 'okay I can't keep losing sleep over you because clearly I've been at least somewhat mistaken so let's start over-ish even if I don't quite trust you' with him.

@Kronshi That was a good Bloodstone post.

I really like how this highlights the way they see trust, and how that in turn highlights how they operate as soldiers. Chromite sees misplaced trust as a potentially disastrous risk and doesn't understand why her commanding officer would put himself on the line like that, while Bloodstone seems to see placing trust in someone who doesn't return it or possibly even deserve it as a way to gain leverage. It's befitting of someone who really wants to get people on their side.

@21308@Loony I figured that it was the best way to show that Bloodstone would much rather use his strategy to be a leader of the people instead of a destructive warlord.

It's different if it's by accident, but it's saddening nonetheless. And yes, I really like where Bloodstone is going. I'm going to be very honest in that I was pretty 'meh' about him at first, but now I can say I'm very much invested in his character. Props to you, @Kronshi, Bloodstone never fails to surprise me and I love that. Eve on the other hand, is only confused by this.

@Loony Ugh I shouldn't have been so dumb. I've been cleaning up leftover brush from a lightning-stricken tree that cicadas like hanging out in. I stupidly left some in my car with the windows rolled up because I'm sick of my seats getting rained on and disgusting, and when I came back from a trip I found a dead cicada in my car, I was quite sad. I've been rolling the windows down a little since then so they can leave if they need to though.

But yes I totally love Bloodstone's development too, it's cool to see that he isn't just a cruel, bloodthirsty (no pun intended please don't hurt me) villain.

You definitely are better at character development then me XD I love Aquamarine, don't get me wrong but I feel like she messes up more than she has actually helped but this just could be that I know Howlite will die and Aqua can't stop it T.T Blood is gonna be like..."I knew they would be better off with me"

Be careful, Aqua. I think that if anyone will win Eve over, it'll not be you, but Blood. Unless Bloodstone were more directly involved with the reason why Talc didn't return, and Eve found out...

@Kronshi I'm just as puzzled as Eve is. I wish I could say, but I can't. Might be poop brain but it's more likely that you're great at making Bloodstone an enigma.
