Yeah, the four of them will arrive to the city, or at least be within a close range of it until they get the call.

Can I just say that I absolutely love Robin's - or rather, Nightwing's - sense of humor? (Probably rubbed off from BB haha)

I do have something else in plan for Rune's use of the time machine - for now it hasn't happen yet, but the side effects will surface much much later... I mean, so far it looks too convenient for her, but I'm not the type who would make life that easy for my own characters, muwahahaha.

I'm actually starting to enjoy writing for Grayson. It's fun to write a different and older version of him, and his human certainly has been from his prolonged time with Beast Boy and Cyborg.

I'm glad we're on the same page when it comes to making our characters lives easy. There's a very good reason as to why I mentioned Dreda's winds, and I hope it works out the way in intend.

Haha you don't really need to bump this - I already got this thread in my subscription list. I think I did mention in my interest check that my posting frequency (especially IC) is on a weekly, not daily basis. If you need my attention just @mention me and I'll get the notification. :)

Anyway, I'm on med these couple of days so I'm still feeling groggy and disorientated at the mo'. Will get my IC response up hopefully by tomorrow.

Well, as much as the whole time traveling thing seems too convenient for Rune, the wind part is still very much overshadowed in your IC. I think there's no need to rush into showing your whole deck to me at this stage since we aren't even done with the guys yet (Ryan and Kenji).

Phew good to know - but feel free to alert me if you find me "butchering" the canon characters by mistake - sometimes I get too carried away with my wild imaginative mind XD

You sure know where to kick at the right part to arouse my curiosity, pushing it higher and higher... I swear you're going to kill me with too much suspense, heh.

Heads up that I won't be online tomorrow (Election Day or whatever it is) and Saturday (local comic con).

Me too - well, maybe not like some writers who literally write books for a living, but I've always dreamed of getting one of my crazy story ideas published.

I have the draft for Kenji's ready, but I'm not too sure how to proceed with Rune's - she's already at the foot of Titans Tower. Thinking of her having a gun run with the security XD

Jokes aside, posted! Writer's block is back to haunt me again, so apologies for the short post.
Let's just hope that those two won't go too far and demolish the whole tower - I'm sure Robin would not be pleased, at all. :P

Ok, I'm having a bit of dilemma on my next IC post at the moment:

  • For Rune's part, she will be fighting with Ryan, but it would be difficult for me to write out the scene without stepping into godmod zone on Ryan.
    • This will be extended to Teen Titans intervention to stop them from, well, tearing down the tower from their rampage. And also to establish first formal contact that all of them are on the same side.
  • Kenji's appearance would be followed after the fight (I'll be doing a slight timeskip of his flight from Japan to America) and joins the other two newbies.
  • As Dreda whereabouts are currently unknown until you reveal it in your next IC post, I'm assuming that she won't be in the picture - not involved in this - for now.

A possible way to get around this little problem would be us doing a collaborative post in script form - either via Skype, Titanpad or online docs - and then I'll condense the interaction into my next IC post. This way I can prevent from having to godmod Ryan, because his actions and speeches are already established beforehand in the collab with you.

However, for this solution to work, we have to get around another problem: the difference in our timezones.
I'm not sure of yours, but mine is GMT +8.
This problem would be a problem if we're going to use Skype for collab. Otherwise we can use online doc (either GoogleDoc or OnlineMS) or Titanpad (never used this before but worth a try) instead.

So...any ideas how we can get about this?

For a solution, I would strongly suggest titanpad. Me and my editor have used it several times before, as we live in different parts of the world. Fortunately, we both live in GMT -4, or EST, I guess. He was a reader of one of my earlier stories, and was originally just a beta reader.

Anyhow, Titanpad works really well, and I can get one set up if you'd like to do that.

Here ya go! No worries! I wake up rather late, so being up earlier will be a help for me. I can try to be on whenever you are to get it done faster, but I do believe that an hour should be enough time,
