Also: any details on the arena itself? I know they start forty feet apart... but how wide is it overall? Is it circular? What is the terrain like? What are the walls made of? Is there a roof, and if so, how high up is it?

I'm not sure we're actually fighting in that... I figured it was just a cool picture to advertise.

If we are though, that's pretty cool! Open terrain allows for all kinds of fun... last tournament I did was in a literal unbreakable glass box, which didn't exactly lend itself to creative tricks.

@ShidenBlades Believe me on this one. A character that thrives EXCLUSIVELY in tight spaces is not viable.

I had a character back on Oldguild, his name was Emmel. Emmel was slow moving, tough, and hit hard. But he didn't have any ranged options, nor did he have any gap closers. So, the only way that he ever won a fight was in a tunnel.

He went on to never win again.

Nah. It's got nothing to do with tight-spaces.

He's better in urban environments where the terrain can be used to his advantage. It probably stems from my love of moving around while fighting instead of just standind around like in a boxing ring.

You state in her powers that she controls them telepathically but in your history you state its Arcane power she has. Can you please clarify for me, I've always seperated the two powers.

Arcane: adjective. Understood by few; mysterious or secret.

Basically she moves swords around with her mind. 'Arcane power' just means 'weird power,' ergo none of her clan really understood how it worked. It's not tied in to a specific magic system or anything.

Um.

Do you mean ordinary wolverines, or the X-men's Wolverine?

And... getting bonded with them the same way she's connected to her swords would be difficult and impractical, but would still be theoretically possible. But Imogen wouldn't do that. Think of the poor wolverines!

Imogen curses. Evidently her swords are not enough to defeat Nicoli... with a cry of rage, she flings forth a jock in tights, who performs an expert midair tackle on her opponent. As he performs this maneuver, the muscle-bound young player yells out his war cry: "First down!" Imogen smiles to herself... she is lucky to have recruited such skilled fighters with only the promise of scholarships. Now, she can sweep the tournament with ease- and she doesn't even have to pay them!
