Uhm, I'm a bit confused. I've noticed how some people post immediately in the character section while others wait here for approval. Uh, I might have missed something but...shouldn't you post your character here first before throwing it into the character pile?


From my experience, that's how it's usually done. It means that if a character isn't accepted then that cs isn't cluttering up the character tab which makes for an easier referece of all the active characters.

Its usually protocol to put it in OOC and have it be approved before putting into the Char tab unless the GM says so in the rules or people don't read the rules.

Given the fact that Sky is still on the "I need to take any job that I can" level, he could easily have been hired to help out Edo somehow. That, or they can cross paths or something. They do hang out in similar circles.

@Shard Considering both Edo and Sky are from Nar Shaddaa, would it be too much of a stretch they were friends or at least acquaintances? News of an elite, deadly bounty hunter and reliable, skilled smuggler, both orphaned from youth, would pass around many a mouths and ears I would think.

As long as we're suggesting possible connections, I'd like to point out that Epik has been known to work for ship captains that can offer him passage across the galaxy so there's a chance that he may have worked for or still works for Edo.

I think that the more we can connect our characters to each other, the better.

Also, a Skype group could make the OOC talk in this RP go more smoothly without having to clutter the thread.

@ClocktowerEchos I feel like at some point, if all the characters do end up on Edo's ship and there's already another droid there doing everything that droids do...there won't be much place for Epik. So while I wouldn't like to mess up your characters operations or any plans you have for the droid or whatever...Yeah, it may be better if you replace R7.

It's easier to just reply here when you have time. Skype calls need to be set up and have everyone there and also Skype annoys me.

Alright.

On the subject of how our characters know each other...

Edo and Sky can be childhood acquaintances. Epik could be working on Edo's ship. Mace and Sky could have crossed paths at some point and might even have worked together on a bounty once before, then they split up again and went their separate ways.

This leaves the Jedi, the Sith and the Shaper.

For collab, you may want to consider using something like TitanPad. It makes things a lot easier if someone can just copy and paste the final thing to the IC.
