I'm down to either making the son of Kyle Rayner who has his father's old green ring or a completely original guy that can control fire and electricity. Either way my character is going to be half alien. Who wants to be a boring human?

I resent that sir! I happen to like the lanterns almost as much as I like Superman!

Also, it would be electric fire. As in he could shoot both. I don't know, I'll decide later.

GLs are okay. As long as you chuck the God Complex. (Speaking of, did you read the new comic where Hal becomes a God. It actually was written very well.)

I just love anything sci fi fantasyish. Star Wars is my favorite thing ever and the Lantern Corps is basically DC's version of Star Wars. I personally adore the idea of creating constructs. To each his own I guess lol.

Anyway I'll probably make the Rayner kid. Now for a name, Logan? Trent? Marcus? Vandian?

Aw man. It was great. The best characterization I've seen come out of Hal in years. I'll find the specific issue number, because it was worth it, even just as a stand alone.

I love Star Wars, but honestly don't see anything in Lanterns that is like that. Guardians of the Galaxy has the vibe depending on the writer, Omega Men too but never found that in the Lanterns.

I've just always found constructs to be such a cop-out. Especially the Lantern ring, it's literally a Deus Ex Machina that fits on a finger.

With your recommendation I'll definitely put it on my reading list. Speaking of, how is Darseid War? Or rather is it better than Trinity War and Forever Evil?

Have to say my all time favourite Batman story is 'Batman: Hush'. 'Year One' would be a close second, followed by 'Night of the Owls'.
