Marching band: Friendship

According to your logic, everything involving a tool to make the object of interest do stuff would be considered physical and everything directly making the object of interest do stuff is considered special. I can understand that, but volleyball would more be a mixture of SpD and SpA as people need to block incoming balls and slam them back. Football would be SpA for fieldplayers and SpD for the keeper. Swimming and track are okay as they are, so is hockey, but basketball would more be SpA just like football. Tennis would then be a mixture of Atk and Def as people need to block the incoming balls with their rackets while slamming them back. And marching band... Still not sure why that is considered a sport... Anyway, that is what I think about your sport stats.

Except you're missing one important thing.

This is poke verse. Simple things like sports cannot raise more than one stat, and team positions were not listed as separate fields. Therefor, only the sports "main" stat can be counted as a modifier.
