@Mr Allen J So correct me if I have this wrong, but here's the short version of what's going on:

It's storming heavily
Raven just got their asses kicked
Purple eyed monsters are rampaging through the city


Correct, correct, and correct. Only other thing is that NEST is establishing a no-murder zone!

Me and Zombiedude are doing one other collab, and I guess we can timeskip after that.

Anyways, the brief little timeskip post is half-done, though, I'm going to save it for later. Right now, I'm excluding Meifeng and Mika because I have no idea what to do with them that isn't contrived. Cindy, Trevor, and Jen will be in their own segment.

Really think I should do a collab with ya'll, since writer's block is hitting me like a bitch.

@Mr Allen J I just kinda realized something after reading the latest IC post...

The monsters are (uh, remotely?) controlled via some sort of telepathic/empathetic connection, right? It's stated that Mika could feel them with her copied telepathy. Shizuka's power is resistant to telepathy - that is, he can disrupt the mind link between the Devil and the minions affected by his ability.

Well, something I can work into my future posts against the Devil's slime army, I guess...

Only plot in particular I can think of is maybe Trevor healing Reed.

Yup, it's all telepathic. Which is how Mika could sense them.

On a sidenote, I'm going to continue work on my timeskip post later on tonight.

Same here - I'll be starting internship next week too, so heads up that do expect longer post delays from me.
Even so, I'm all ready for any collabs - just gimme a poke and we can get started asap.
(I'm torn about whether I should do a solo post to set up my own stuff first tho'...)

[4.2 Escaping Paradise]
  • After the Devil launched her grand offensive, thousands of lives were lost in the first hour - either to her beasts, or the dangerous weather conditions. NEST is barely holding their own against the monstrous offensive. However, the first objective of the organization was to establish a safe zone where people could go. Their next objective is to now get as many people out of the city as they can. However, with the Changeling Unit, Devil, and even NEST High Command, plotting against them, can they succeed against the overwhelming odds presented before them?
