It's all good there's still plenty of time.

Everyone if you wanna like, chat with other students/rps now is a good time. You can of course be friends from the previous years or not. (What your character did over the summer is a good conversation, but most people also know about the Cloaks and how they are pushing for a reform, agreeing with them is fine as they are at the moment, only a political group)

Also I don't know if I made this super clear or not but everybody has their own personal (smallish) room.

The prophet is for more world-headed and british wizards , in this setting we have The Salem Daily which is more localized to north america
don't worry to much about the centering as long as it looks nice
Remember to do longer posts as well, like two paragraphs or so. :>

Yep alright, and I know about the paragraph thing, I'm trying to make them as long as I can but I don't want to just plaster on a ton of other garbage just to make the posts longer because that'd be even more annoying for people...

I know it can be hard but longer posts are important to. It's like an added challenge to make good writing out of almost nothing. Just try your best, no pressure :>


Is anyone interested in hearing the other world building things i've come up with in the last few days? It'd be mostly unrelated to our characters but the setting none the less.
I'd love to hear any ideas you guys have as well :>

Well it's just like stuff about the world.

Like Wizards would mostly live in secluded wizard towns in rural areas. And they'd be diffrent to werewolves and possibly vampires; like Werewolves would all be on a list and have to pay to get the potion to help them not turn into a werewolf every month and their kids would have to live else where during the full moon but they wouldn't have such a hard time getting a job(though harder than non-werewolf wizards) but be paid a little less. Muggle borns would also have a harder time and also get paid less. But no one would outright hate muggleborns and werewolves it'd just be like a stereotype.

And there'd be hardly any Ghosts, like the school has one ghost and shes always sad and wishes she could just die and nobody wants to end up like her.

And American wands are made more ascetically though it doesn't make them any better wands, thats just how Thompson Rivers the wand maker makes them.

I was thinking it'd be like just a general thinking less of them (see Oliver in that last post at least as far as muggles go). Generally Purebloods will just make excuses for specific muggels and muggel borns and condemn the rest of the population: it's a stereotype.

As far as muggleborns go there is a general ignorance of magic world projected on them. EG Purebloods will think muggleborns are less adept at magic life because they didn't grow up that way. They would probably pressure muggleborns to leave behind their muggle life (parents and possessions) and try to be as wizardly as possible. Purebloods treat muggleborns like children and will over explain or write off their opinions (this is why the cloaks are labeled extremists, they seem like they'd be mostly muggleborn backed and so they are written off)
