Yea, I'm not as lucky as he was XD!

MAn... Ninke has been THOUROUGLY shafted thus far. Squad dead, regiment decimated, and now half the arm below her elbow is GONE, I think Ninke has had the worst luck in RP thus far... only good thing so far has been Belgond(yes that statement is god damn adorable)

Also, THAT GRIMDARK ENOUGH FOr YA JB??!!! sry did not mean to yell

Fits the 40k universe! Life is hell and everything wants you dead (but not before it tortures you in some way)

Actually, a wound like that would be a perfect interaction for my character, but she's not there yet. Shame

I just hope she is lucky enough to get a cybernetic replacement by the end of this siege! Otherwise, I'm roleplaying a one handed Guardsman! They don't last too long

@agentmanateeWhen we all meet up at the cathedral, with some spare bits of junk and such, Caius could probably rig some crude device to let Ninke hold her weapon, if she doesn't mind pulling the trigger with her existant hand.

In IC terms, would a doctor's recommendation sway the munitorum to allocate her cybernetics?

@OzymandiasWell, given her position as a Vox operator, and the recommendation from a Doctor, if you got issued anything, it'd be the equivalent of a poor-quality Dark Heresy cybernetic arm. This is just my assessment as a player and 40k enthusiast, of course, and by no means the GM's viewpoint.

@agentmanatee Well, after rolling my magical dice, it appears that Ninke would be getting a "Common" cybernetic; in short, she'd be getting a replacement that will act in exactly the same way as her average human arm - same sense of touch and feeling, same dexterity...no better, no worse.

Of course, things could go even worse before then.

The doctor's recommendation? That was just idle OOC chat. I doubt a field surgeon would have any influence on that. Cybernetics would be a whole other type of doctor's field.
