Oh, I don't think I did. Woops. @Lugubrious you can just go on as if she did.

@Eviledd1984, and didn't the orc shaman get to Torrens first, or at the very least at the same time, making open communication difficult?
Gormlag suddenly burst out from the crowd and charged towards Torrens with an unnatural speed for a brute of his size, searing claws outstretched. Unlike the other orcs, he didn't show the slightest hint of trepidation upon seeing the fire demon, nor the charred remains of all the fallen. No, it only drove him into more of a rage.

You'll need to speak in coded taunts or something, because going to whisper or say something to Torrens, especially about how you don't want to actually kill him, will make the shaman suspicious and ruin your plan.

The shaman seems to use fire as his primary weapon and source of power though. So, advantage to Torrens if that's the case.

What does he gain from absorbing fire? I forget.

@Kangutso, Torrens' life force is thermal energy. It is also what he uses to power pretty much all his attacks. And he constantly loses thermal energy due to radiation. That is why Torrens absorbs fire.

I had better make my response some time.

Tomorrow. Eviledd, let me post first. Torrens has something to say to D'Artagnan.

I was just about to post something with my rabbitfolk doing the opposite of what the shaman wanted.

Thanks for the heads up.

@Cyclone, did Gormlag jump back before or after being struck by fire? Like, was it a dodge or was he just repositioning himself?

Just repositioning. The fire hit and did next to nothing.

@Cyclone, awesome post, but wouldn't that explosion have thrown away most of the lava? @Eviledd1984, what did you intend with it?

I hadn't really considered that, but this lava was highly viscous, denser and heavier than other liquids like water, and deep enough for Torrens to be wading through. I'm no physicist but I'll just roll with what I've already written; it obviously depends on how strong the bomb is, but I think it's reasonable to say that most of the lava remained.

@BBeast

Wait, the fire priest from way back ago did the same sort of attack?

And there I was thinking myself so clever and inventive for making a challenging fight as requested with all sorts of crazy new and unexpected attacks, and making that post as if the lava pit had actually been some sort of planned trap.
