Just to let everyone know, the first IC post is up. No one has found a Death Note yet so whatever your character is doing when you guys post, dont mention anything about them or have any knowledge of them. Once I see a couple of these, I will do another post in the Shinigami Realm.

It's seeming that the two who have posted so far have wanted to be in school so I will write up a basic post about what the school looks like, classes being offered and some NPC's as soon as I can

Death note is great and all but it was more then just a clever concept it had some good writers behind it. I'm a bit skeptical about joining a game like this because I don't know where you could really go with it.

They kill some people, they kill some more.

For a start there's gonna be too many books.
Having one that they all shared and knew about would cause the need for much more interaction and scrutiny from the others.

It creates a power play element and trust issues between the friends.

It would be pretty difficult to pull of a witty battle of intellect with so many characters.

Basically I'm just curious if there is some direction or hidden agenda for the game or if you are just gonna see what the characters do and roll with it?

I am not thinking I will allow characters to kill each other; at least not in this point of the game. And yes I'm thinking this RP will be character driven. Maybe it would be a good idea to have less death notes but not only one. I'm trying to separate from the actual anime and only having one would be too close for my taste.
