Name: Oddessa Collette

Gender: Female

Appearance: Oddessa is an average sized girl with long, straight brown hair and green eyes. Her face is slender and she has rather sharp facial features and high cheekbones. Most of the time, her expressions convey either anger or sadness but she is most likely just thinking. She may smile to herself once in a while but that is rare.
Parental Status: She does not know her real father and her mother is not present in her life (by choice.) She has a step dad that means the world to her that has been a huge part of her life and a new mother to take the old one's place.

Personality: Oddessa has always been the odd one out. She has always been different and smarter than everyone else around her. She appreciates life more and has more common sense. She often gets frustrated with the stupidity of others around her and so she only hangs out with others like her.
Her interests center around anything involving music, English, law and animals. She like animals better than humans and would probably protect or socialize with an animals before another person. She is very quiet unless otherwise approached by another person, in which case, she is polite and friendly.

Bio: She was born in a very small town that she never fit into. She developed a very small group of friends that she never separates from. Everyone else at her high school hates her because she isn't an idiot jock and constantly insults her but really, she wouldn't have it any other way. She has always enjoyed being the different one. She knows she is going somewhere and chooses to ignore the people that try to bring her down. She has a cat she found wandering around in an alleyway behind her house that she decided to take in. She doesn't like dogs; she can relate more to cats and they are much cuddlier than dogs so she wants many of them.

She has been raised by her Aunt because of her messed up parental situation and has loved it. Odessa and her aunt have more of a best friend kind of relationship than an "authority vs citizen" one. They stay up at night and talk for hours about things that are bothering them or just things they enjoy. She also grew up the three children her aunt adopted after a death in the family. No one else was brave enough or responsible enough to take the kids in so Oddessa's aunt did. Although they are not her siblings, Oddessa treats them as if they were; two girls and one boy all in the same house with a 17 year old girl is a pretty big deal for a single aunt to handle so Oddessa has become something like the other parental figure. Because of this, Oddessa is way more mature than most other 17 ear old girls, which yet again, is something that others around her have no conception of, which increases her frustration.

She plans to attend a four year university as a music major or a law major, she hasn't fully decided yet. She almost never stops singing and is known as the best singer in Roseburg. She is constantly trying to improve her voice and get her vocal skills known to the public. She only sings in front of people she is extremely comfortable with.

Essentially the uber shy-nerd-young-innocent schoolgirl motif. Depending on how hardcore out story gets, she will go from innocent to 'hard as fuck' or 'totally insane'. It will be interesting to write a character make that evolution.

Parental Status: Both parents are alive and happily married. However they both work (lower class) and have little time for her. She is an only child.
Personality: From a sheltered background, Elizabeth has developed a shy and introverted personality. Though Friendly and open to people she knows, she can become practically invisible to new faces. In high stress situations she develops a stutter that evolves into full on silence and lack of speech as the pressure builds.
Her interests lean towards science, technology, and academics. In any age she will be defined as the stereotypical nerd. Thus she would prefer the company of a technical project instead of a party.

Bio: She has had a happy and well adjusted childhood. Though her parents where over protective of her and have sheltered her from life's more harsh truths. Throughout her childhood, she has been allowed to focus on her interests and not on the world of social interaction.
Once she hit her teens, finances have become tight and both parents focused on work and income, leaning her to split her time on her interests and beginning to explore the social world of high-school.

Parental Status: Both of Lyra's parents are alive and married.

Personality: As the youngest child in her family, Lyra rarely gets to make decisions on her own. Her three older siblings, all brothers, are overprotective of Lyra to the point of being stifling. To combat that tendency, Lyra has become headstrong and stubborn, sometimes despite having very good reason second guess herself. She is quite intelligent, and prone to influencing those around her through sheer manipulation. She frequently becomes sarcastic, even condescending, when speaking to those who earn her disdain. Beneath her shell of snarky quips and fierce determination lies a girl who doesn't really understand herself but desperately wants to be accepted for the person she is, not the one she's supposed to be.

Bio:
As a small child, Lyra was nothing if not curious. If her parents or her brothers - whoever was in charge of her for the moment - dared look away, they would often find that she had ventured off on her own, across the street and sometimes even into the woods. When that happened, Lyra would inevitably become lost and cry out for help, which always resulted in her would-be guardian rushing to her rescue. She would inevitably be confronted by her parents, who would tell her she was precious, their little princess, and shouldn't take such risks. Lyra believed them, yet time and again, she would commit the same violation.

Eventually, Lyra outgrew that careless behavior, but she never did shed the notion that she was a princess. She became fascinated by books, and would spend many an evening on her porch, reading as the sun set. She strove to always do what was proper, as a princess should. Of course, her brothers would tease Lyra for behaving like royalty, and her commands that they stop would only increase their mockery. Lyra spent increasingly little time with them; she would sometimes spend entire days holed up in her room as much as possible.

As Lyra got older, her interests shifted, as all girls' did. She began to notice boys, to take interest in them in ways she'd never considered before. But any boy she dared invite into her home would be relentlessly badgered by her brothers and would never return. Lyra quickly learned not to invite them home, to keep her relationships at school and distance them from her family as much as possible. During her first year of high school, she did just that, and one night, she finally managed to sneak out and go to a dance with her boyfriend at the time. Lyra fell in love - not with the boy, who she'd discarded a week later, but with the freedom she'd experienced that night. She'd been viewed as a person rather than some little girl who didn't know what was best for herself, and she wanted more of that. As she progressed into her sophomore year, Lyra developed a knack for sneaking out and a skill for deception. Those talents would help her once she got her hands on it...

Name: Sif Grey

Appearance:



Sif is average height (between 5'10 and 6') with an Asian ethnicity. He has bleached mid length hair that's a bit spiky. Sif has a smaller build, and wears small thin glasses that are pretty hard to notice. He normally wears overly formal attire to school, consisting of a black suit, black dress pants and a white-red striped tie. Casual wear, which he is rarely seen in, consists of a thin white t-shirt, and black athletics sweats. Sif is not overtly muscular in the least, much less toned.

Parental Status:

Father alive, mother deceased.

Personality:

Sif is a very standoffish individual, though he is rarely cold about it. He tries his best to stay out of the limelight in conversations, though he does listen. He is great at cold reading, and often is caught saying odd things just to provoke a reaction. Sif is particularly awkward when faced with authority whether it be perceived or not., Normally just slinks into the background when such situations arise.

Despite his awkward nature, he is by no means antisocial. He spends time around those he favors, and warms up rather quickly, Though it might not be visible at first, around friends he does show private smiles. Sif's reserved nature is mostly placed in mistrust; He can't be expected to make the first move towards establishing a relationship with anyone.

Bio:

Sif is an American born first generation Korean, from a small family that immigrated directly from South Korea. A very real stigma still existed towards anyone of Asian descent at that time, and even teachers would ridicule him. They would berate him, calling him a 'Worthless gook,' and other atrocious things. Despite the derision he was faced with, he made friends through Elementary school and Middle school. In 7th grade he was held back, as his English at the time wasn't on par with the standards the school expected.

Sif's home life was very different from his school life. At home he would speak Korean to his mother and father, often having a long list of chores to preform along with his schoolwork. His mother and father were loving people, and owned a small dry cleaning business. Their home was located above the dry cleaners, and after Sif turned twelve he started working their for his mother and father

At fourteen Sif's mother died of leukemia. His father began drinking, though never abused his bereaved son. and the family relationship Sif had experienced for so long slowly turned sour. Grief overcame Sif, and he has been drifting through life ever since. He is known to zone out of conversations often, though his Korean descent has drilled into him a deep respect for authority figures.

Appearance: Micheal stands at five foot and eleven inches,Weighting in at a hundred and thirty pounds of mostly muscles.Dark brown hair styled in a pompadour that was inspired by Marlon Brando and James Dean.Micheal has blue eyes with a rough looking face wearing a bandage on his cheek.He wears a black leather jacket with the words "Television Vision" In white sewed onto the back of his jacket,Matching black jeans with cuts on the knees and upper thigh,Black leather gloves and bright green sneakers.

Personality: Micheal has a stubborn and brash attitude,He doesn't like people talking shit about his hair and his motorcycle.He will not back down form a fight and will fight with either him or his foe lose,He is very loyal to the people he loves and trust.Micheal will protect his friends and people he likes as best he could even going as far as killing to protect people.

He can easily get frustrated and pissed off when he is either confused or irritated. He does have a bit of a soft spot when he is around his father or girls he likes.

Bio: Micheal was born in a poor family living with his mother and father,At a young age he was interested in motorcycles and working on cars. Idolizing James Dean wanting to be like him getting a job as mechanic wanting to save up enough money to buy a motorcycle. He saved up enough buy to buy his dream motorcycle riding it out contently.

His relationship with his father was quite good respecting his father,His mother however is a different story.His mother would beat him constantly and cheat on his father for other men. Because of this he hated his mother having deep feelings of wanting to kill her or make her pay for making his father and himself to suffer.

He dreams of being a mechanic and work on cars and motorcycle or to work on cars for Hollywoods.

Name: Akihito Osamu

Age: 17

School Year Level: Senior

Gender: Male

Parental Status: Both parents alive, but live in another country.

Personality:

Akihito has never really cared what others think. He has always just worn whatever he wants and things seem to get on just fine. He doesn’t try to sugar-coat what he says for the benefit of those around him. If they can’t handle the truth, then they don’t need to be there. This has got him into a few fights in the past.

Academically, he is the type of student that is always asleep in the back of the class but when he is asked a question he is able to give a text-book explanation. He excels in all of his classes because when he takes a new class, the first order of business, for him, is to read through the text-book. Akihito has been made fun of as the weird kid sleeping in the back of the class - he couldn’t care less about the opinions of those around him. They are simply too stupid for him to bother.

Bio:

Akihito is originally from Japan, as his name suggests. His mother was from the United States and had moved to Japan to live on the military base in Okinawa, where Akihito had his childhood. He moved to the States in between his Sophomore and Junior years. He didn’t have to go through the naturalization process because he has a dual citizenship since he was born on base and his mother was from the US.

Early on one of his teachers told him “Do not be stupid.”, after he had turned in a shoddy assignment. He took the advice to heart and made sure that no one ever had a reason to request that of him again. When he moved to the US he already had a Japanese driver’s license so he took the test for the US and got another one. He had always saved his money that he made over the summer, working at his high school, so when he moved he was able to buy a small ten year old Honda that he now uses to get to and from school and the apartment that his parents pay for.

Akihito lives on his own, working evenings at the school in the tech office. He also works weekends at the community center as a tutor. He is proficient in Japanese and English, he began learning the latter while in the third grade.

Other: For the purpose of convenience I will be using Ramanji if he speaks Japanese at all during the course of the RP.
