@sakurasan My entire post is about how the Headmaster basically told Gigi to distance herself from Maki because they were giving students the wrong idea, so she got like no sleep during the summer, drowning herself in work and avoiding Maki, making excuses on why they couldn't hangout. Now... they share the same homeroom, which makes the whole: I've been avoiding you the entire summer... kind of awkward xD

@RiverMaiden I never specified he or she. I said 'kid'. And the Headmaster did not talk about Beryl.

Mr. Snyder is the head of the math department who suggested Beryl last year. She's kinda just talking to Beryl as a person having no clue what gender he is.

@RiverMaiden Wait. By the way. Going to change this but here's how Maki knows he's a guy: First off, he hates misunderstandings and always makes sure to not... misunderstand anything about people. Second, Ari has already seen Beryl and since she knows all about men and women's physical properties, the first thing she mentioned was, "Makkiii~ Lookie at that guy!! He's so pretty!!" soooo yeah.

@RiverMaiden Well it's hard to constantly call your character 'it' or 'they' xD plus that's near the end of my post, so by then I was just typing shit quickly.

This was my way of working around that whole problem:

Her wide eyes lingered on his face intently, contemplating his appearance and unable to determine it. Her heart sank when she saw Maki talking to him.

Yeah, I understood that. I gave it as an example to why I believed certain characters knew he was a guy. Lena, if I read correctly, WAS interested, and found out through observation over multiple weeks. Makien had experience. Octavia.. I have no idea, but let's just go with it.

(Why... Why is he in here?) Peering down at the seating chart, she caught sight of where she sat: back and center, oh nice. Trying to not make things awkward, she went to Beryl's desk first. She handed both her best friend and the albino a baggie. Giving her best friend a smile, to hide her inner conflict, she then asked the kid she didn't know, if he...her...they were indeed the kid her teacher told her about, "Are you Beryl? If you are, I was wondering if we could talk after class... it's about..."

There. I added the inner struggle lol
