@6slyboy6 very little industry on the moon. Riot control is more of a USF thing than it is a Lorne or PMC thing. A small auxiliary of their men might be hired during larger scale or more violent riots, but their primary jobs will most likely be private security and escort defense against pirates and raiders

@vietmyke If a large scale violent unrest is present, the local law enforcements usually hire local PMCs to take out small cells. And it is pretty self explanatory that yes they protect VIPs and do usual PMC stuff. But meh, sure I'll edit it.

@6slyboy6 but there isn't any violent unrest currently. There's tension and protests, there are very few if any violent demonstrations as of yet.

Look man, there are so amny factors that you can't be sure. Disloyalty, patriotism, bribe, and allt hat shit which would make for the need of a PMC to help the UN. And also it's just a single sentence.

@6slyboy6 Oh theres definitely corruption abounds everywhere, and tension is the entire point of the RP. There are other PMCs as well, sometimes they rub elbows with the UN, usually they do their own corporate thing. Yours happens to be one that rubs elbows with the UN more often than others. I'm giving you that, sure, they do their thing and they help out the UN. And yes, when there's a riot, and the UN need help or can't be bothered, Enson gets called in. But the UN doesn't need their help all the time- it has the a huge amount of resources and military power. Tension, unrest, riots or not, there are plenty of martians that join the USF/UN ranks as well.

And yes, its just a single sentence, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal to keep it in line with the lore.

Edit: redoing the statement regarding violent unrest- yes there have been a few waves of rioting. Riots are for the most part far and few between. Point still stands.

@vietmyke may I butt in? I JUST NOW noticed the USF section, and took me time to read it. First of all, awesome pics. Secondly, I think there is a bit of mix-up inside it. Artie is an A-1 Enforcer unit, right? Now, you said in teh post that the X-3 and the A-1 are both MECS, rgiht?

Don't mind me for asking, but does that mean that Artie is a 15 foot tall giant robot of death? Or is the definition used in the CS more appropriate when you called the X-3 Infantry robots too? Because, wikiquote for mecha/mec: "While the distinction is often hazy, mecha typically does not refer to form-fitting powered armor such as Iron Man's suit. They are usually much larger than the wearer, like Iron Man's enemy the Iron Monger, and possess a cockpit from which they are operated."

So I just want to clarify whether we are gonna fight 20 foot tall iron monsters, in which case we might need a bigger boat, or was it a misunderstading between you and Sep, who I beleive made the USF post?

@6slyboy6 I'm still working on the USF section, and an update with the USF robotic units will be up soon. If you read Artie's description however, it'll tell you that the A-1s are 7 feet tall, not 20. Mech is the generic term I'm using for robot. There are no walking suits of metal that are over 20 feet tall.
