Medium: An enchanted pen used to apply the symbol. The pen has a dial on the front with glyphs engraved upon it, that can place different effects upon the ink going through the pen’s nib, such as making it invisible to all but certain recipients, or erase itself after being read a set amount of times, or shuffling the letters around while the recipient is still reading it.
Appearance: Gwen is a ferret girl with shoulder-length brown hair, and ears and a tail with hair of the same color. She is about 5’ 10” tall, with a slender build, with long limbs and a pianist's fingers. She chooses comfortable clothes, often imply shirts and shorts, and they are almost always ink-splattered. She also usually dresses for warm weather, regardless of what the weather actually is like.
Personality: kind and good-natured at heart, Gwen is all for peace and justice, but if provoked to violence, she is an unbending opponent with a sketchbook full of painful tricks up her sleeve. That said, the only things that can motivate her to do that, outside of class, are injustice, and people hurting those she cares about. A good way to describe her would be Lawful Good, with a peaceful preference. She is smart, though a little naive, and quick to trust and befriend.
Bio: Gwen is the daughter of an Artist and a Priestess on Gaia. She grew up always loving to draw, it didn’t matter what her subject was, and sketches of rocks, cityscapes and the wild jungles stood page-to-page in her sketchbooks, governed only by where she was at the time. It was through her drawings and artwork that she discovered her connection with the Aeon. And through these same things, she chose her disciplines, focusing heavily upon the art-based disciplines of Seals and Glyphs, though she actually started first with Seals, learning of Glyphs during her first year at A.E.I.O.U. When she left for the school her first year, she was carrying her luggage. When She returned, she carried only her sketchbook, pen and backpack, the rest of her stuff sealed within pages of her sketchbook. She is a second-year as of this year.

Extras: She carries around two or three sketchbooks in her bag at all times, alongside whatever else she brings along that day. She also carries a small, leather-bound sketchbook with the image of a shield embossed on its cover in silver filigree in a concealed pocket of her bag, or concealed on her person if she feels especially threatened. It is a sketchpad in which she has concealed various items that she might need to defend herself and those around her. Her other sketchbooks are for storing other items, and for just drawing. Sketchbooks with items sealed within, and those for simple artwork, are distinctly marked with a symbol on the upper left-hand corner of the front cover.
