Gotta create tension somehow, eh?

I really like that idea. Maybe you could make it so that he's super eager to hunt down Others for their body parts? Maybe as soon as their discovery came about, this black market for certain organs and stuff erupted and getting your hands on, let's say, a horn of a demon, a scale of a mermaid, or some other signature Other bits gets you a shit load of money. There's some motivation behind his actions, then.

I know exactly what you mean, he sounds like an interesting character XD.
I think it would be interesting to see how my character would interact with him since they're basically on two opposite ends of the spectrum.
