I didn't actually. This is a (heavily modified) published adventure. So I was lucky enough to find them online.

(After we're done, I'll give the appropriate credit to the module publishers... but for now... no cheating. )

The construct walked up to the first hallway closest to the pit entrance and walked through slowly. ... Jason approached the hallway a little farther from the pit entrance and looked down into it. He was careful not to enter the stair case.


I just want to make sure I'm clear on where Jason & construct are... The pit is to the south on the map. Construct is going down stairs at bottom east? And Jason has the stairs to the west?

Now I just began thinking what Tarquin sounds like... hmm like... if a famous actor was playing him... I'd propably go with young John Hurt as Caligula from I, Claudius. ^w^/

The construct is taking the stairs closest to the pit. Jason is taking the stairs right after that

In you post describing the room. Is that what Jason sees? Just making sure cuz the construct is moving into the room below the pit.

Also, the runes said to inscribe the likeness of bear warriors, are they statues or just runes giving a description of the bear warriors?

Yep...Jason's room. Rather crude paintings on the walls.

Jason & Sara's timeline would be a bit ahead of those at the chapel (some travel time to the tomb), but it's the middle of the night. The battle with the hound happened just hours ago.
