Seyrun isn't the USA Government, she won't pump resources at a mere tool that has little to no practical use for her. Also, a higher quality familair requires more mana to sustain and a soul to act on its own, thee are things Seyrun would like to avoid. Only her snake is well made like this, but mainly because it's a luxury pet, nothing more.

EDIT: If the familiars get broken, so be it, Seyrun can do more. I just don't like if it said destruction ,makes no sense. Also it's a pain to follow them forever, eventually Seyrun will stop using Familiars once she has a gist of how Fuyuki's Masters work.

Ah man, Alaya. That brings back memories.

Specifically, I almost applied to a Grail War RP as a manifestation of Alaya once. Or rather 'Alaya-chan'. Because shit had gotten broken so that Grand Servants were being summoned for the Holy Grail War, and it seemed like she needed to get directly involved to preserve mankind from the throwdown about to result.

I'm not saying her 'Expert of Many Specializations' gave her access to every skill created by humans, but it did something like that. :V

Oh, and her master was going to be EMIYA. Who she was kinda pissed at because of his whole 'Imma escape my contract with Alaya' schtick. Turns out Alaya is a bit Yandere when it comes to her Counter Guardians (She's still pissed at Jean for getting away)

Sadly the guy who was gonna be EMIYA couldn't apply, so it ended up going nowhere. But it would have been glorious.

Domo domo, I am EstABest, a friend of Unoedipal, and I am here to be the guy that knows about things that go boom on his behalf. If you have questions on such, please direct them at me and he will let me know.

Now turboshitter, while technically the science behind making the things go boom is not wrong, though I doubt the validity of the effectiveness of this homemade C-4, there are some key steps you are missing. Such as what is the detonator made from? How is it made? What is going to be initiating it? This is literally my job, so this shit tilts me if people don't get it right.

Well, you could always pair a contact explosive with an oven timer (y'know, one that vibrates when the time runs out). With good funding you could use a cell phone set to vibrate, though that would add traceability through call logs.

If you can't get a contact explosive, just pull the bullet out of its shell, sprinkle some thermite in, and boom, should work as an ignition. Just rig a way to pull the trigger and you've got yourself a boom.

Second, where are you getting this thermite?

Third, why would you even need to use something that vibrates, that is waaaaaay too sketchy and unlikely to work. Why not just use an electrical current to like

a fucking lightbulb.

Well for contact explosive, you could always just make some nitro from soap. I mean, I see that shit in movies all the time, so it's gotta have some amount of truth to it. Also, I forget what it was called, but back in high school my class convinced the chemistry teacher to do an experiment that created contact explosives. He ended up making about 10 times as much as the stable-when-solid amount, freaked out, then spent like five hours at the fume hood just letting little bits of it solidify, then tapping it with a meter stick. Good times.

If you plant a block of C4, you can set up a sniper rifle on a stand from a safe distance with tie an egg timer glued to the trigger. When the timer goes off, the vibrations will pull the trigger and the bullet will detonate the C4 from far away.

Since you don't have to account for human error, you can have the rifle like ten miles away and it'll still hit accurately.

making explosives, while usually being dangerous, is really not that hard if you understand it, but it is clearly not understood here, and that is a bit of an annoyance to me.

Like, this is my actual job, and stuff like "I see that in movies" is not an explanation of how it works. something so sensitive that it explodes when there is a vibration next to it is not something that you should be making. Even in an rp. Your char would likely legit kill themselves making it.
