Honestly if it's endgame who's to say you can't make up your own skill??? No matter what, it's going to do a severe damage hit of some sort so....

You could do... The Ripsnorting Kick!!! or The Almighty Hustle! Five Thousand Hairy Legs of Saturated Fury! Twenty Gallons of Whoopass! Super Sparkle Gentleman Thrust!

Awesome!

I guess the character influences how powerful a skill is too: considering Nira really isn't likely to go on the offensive very often it likely won't be as useful as it could be.

Oh, oh oh! And The Fool Social Link is going to open up to any character who feels at least somewhat connected to their fellow survivors after this fiasco. So uh, everyone who think that might apply to their character should be thinking of what they want. Really the only way a character won't qualify if they're like

"BLUH BLUH FUCK ALL THESE BITCHES I'M NOT EVER SPEAKING TO THEM EVER AGAIN AND WE ARE PRETENDING THIS NEVER HAPPENED. BYE FREAKIN BYE I'M GOING BACK TO MY SEAT. LATER FUCKOS."

Which, I mean fair enough. But it's the team social link, so uh, yeah.

Things to remember when picking new skills: your first three base skills auto-rank with the storyline so don't pick AGILAO if you have already picked AGI ect ect. If you picked something that doesn't level up then uh, we'll figure that out later.

Nao's perfectly fine. She's been set on fire and the front of her shirt might be ruined by the bloodstains, but otherwise she's pretty intact.

@Attis The Fool should be like for the group as a whole as well as for your character. Then the link can advance the further we progress into the story, like in the games.

And sure, go for it! Your first social link will probably be the Fool, but who knows. There's so many possibilities like, jeepers. Also, you really only need to be nice to Charon a whole once to get his social link so uh. It's almost like a freebie honestly.



OKAY SO. Since no one has stepped forth yet in wanting that last hit in, I'm gonna go ahead and draft that dead Cerberus post now. I know that @BrassOtter said they'd be out of range during the... *checks my PMS* ... April 12-14? Yah. So if we don't get into Carmen's dungeon by then I suppose we'll have a brief intermission!

Which is fine by me because April 13th and 14th are when Homestuck is ending and I will be bingereading the end and sobbing grossly for the rest of my life.

Some more intermission dates to note.... @Undinebutt and I will probably not be posting from April 26-29th... BECAUSE WE'RE GOING TO BE ON VACATION TOGETHER!!! :DDDDD And having fun. AT A WATERPARK!!!!

RSS: Adventure Updates

EOA6 - 99%

Here is the plan. Starting today, there will be 6 days of updates (about 125 total pages). Then a brief pause. Then on 4/6, I'll post the END OF ACT 6 animation.

That should immediately be followed by 7 days of updates (about 40 total pages), ending with an update on 4/13, the 7th anniversary of Homestuck. That update will contain ACT 7 in its entirety.

The current 125 page stretch was drawn by a few guest artists. Gina Chacon, Mallory Dyer, and Adrienne Garcia (all artists for WP). The panels they did are very good, and I think make for a nice runway leading up to the final animations. Of course there are a lot of other great contributing artists to all that content as well. Thanks for the patience during the Omegapause. I hope you enjoy the conclusion to Homestuck.

SO UH. That post is up and that... sorta concludes that, for now.
Feel free to obtain the FOOL SOCIAL LINK at any time, given that your character meets the minimum requirement of not completely noping out forever.

Feel free to do what comes naturally. Time is still frozen, but the train is moving and they'll be let off at their stops by the unknown pilot character.

Man, I should really re-read homestuck. I tried diving back into it after the last Gigapause (Missed the omegapause thankfully) but I just couldn't sit through all of the GIANT WALLS OF TEXT that were dialogue between characters, as important as they may be. I'll probably re-read it after it ends.

@BrassOtter I'm currently attempting to make a Knight of Blood costume so I can go to a convention as Karkat like a fucking gross nerd... I have no idea how to sew clothing but I guess I'm making this happen.

@Undinebutt is going to be Vriska and we're gonna fight it out in the parking lot

I feel bad because this ooc is becoming so homestuck but if like 90% of us are homestuck trash or mildly amused does it really even matter? no? no.

Edit: I started it. There's a Support Group now.
