She despises sounds that aren't musically pleasing to the ear and will certainly let you know about such crimes. She does sing, on occasion, while playing her harp but you'll be dead before you know that she does not do it in front of others. Her resolve is strong in negative situations and she is the never the first to give up. On the same note, however, she is not the most positive of people. There are few people who are comfortable with her dead-pan demeanor and humor, but deep inside, she is kind, caring, and fiercely loyal to the friends she does make.

【History】
Kasumi's mother and father are shinobi from Otogakure originally, but through their travels, they have settled in Kumogakure and retired from missions, preferring to be involved in Kasumi's life however they can stick their noses in her business to assist her however they could. Her parents are much older, her mother having gotten pregnant with Kasumi after their "retirement". She doesn't know much about what her parents had put themselves through, but the fact that they were still alive was testament enough to their ability. Kasumi was, at a very young age, taught to play multiple musical instruments. From the drums to the flute, she has played them all at least once by the very strict direction of her parents. However, her very first love was playing the harp. The gentle, beautiful sounds it created were always her favorite. It wasn't until the age of six that she started displaying ability to potentially become a shinobi. The option was offered to her at such a young age and she readily agreed.

Her parents weren't convinced that their only child, a girl of such small stature, could be accepted into the Academy or even survive. Even to this day they aren't convinced despite her status a chunin now. She passed her exams with acceptable scores across the board, but she never seemed to specialize in one certain thing. The only thing that has stuck with Kasumi are jutsus directly connected to sound or music. For that reason, she had a specialized harp created and trained vocally also in case she was disarmed. Her father now teaches music at local schools in Kumogakure, constantly giving Kasumi 'advice' about her jutsu. Her mother has also hopped on that boat, nagging Kasumi about missions that could be too difficult or if she comes home with wounds.

Suffice to say, Kasumi prefers silence or music rather than talking. Any time away from home is better than home, but she does love her parents, knowing their intentions are good.

If she controls the sound through chakra, that makes most sense, since that means the enemy can't hear the melody. Which would probably be a bit more amusing.

She is said to be the spitting image of her late mother, for whom she gained her extremely feminine and delicate charm from. Because she looks frail and dainty, people often feel the need to look after or protect her, much to her annoyance. Her hair is almost always adorned with ruby flowers, white pearls, and swirly gold laceings. these will certainly not fall out in a battle or get stolen! As an idol, she's always had to wear pretty white dresses, assorted flowers, ribbons, and girly frills. This makes up the majority of what she wears during the day, as she has to keep up her "pure beauty" image. Tanpopo's were well-known for their Shrinking Pixie Technique i knew you'd re-use this, which allowed them to shrink to the size of a butterfly and grow a pair of iridescent wings, allowing them to fly. Their wings varied(wasp wings, butterfly wings, dragonfly wings, etc.) and could produce a pollen like dust for various effects. They often referred to this compound as pixie dust or fairy dust. They were regarded as Pixies or Dandelions for how delicate they looked while shrunken. This hiden jutsu was taught to the members while they were very young and made them excellent at espionage and sensory. Hanare is a distant cousin to the late Megumi Tanpopo, former Jounin of Konohagakure. except that RP took place 250 years in the future you dumbass. i guess i'll just pretend i never heard of this jonin. its good that you're keeping a consistent family in here though.

Hanare, to be very honest, is an emotionally complex young maiden. However most would simply chop it up to growing female adolescent hormones. As an idol, see, i keep reading she's an idol and I don't know why (yet). I blame my CS skeleton, but for the record, I have no idea that she's an idol and how and why. she has a certain image that has to be maintained when in the public eye. On the surface she appears delicate and extremely feminine, showing politeness and innocence. so basically a nice version of traditional yamato, i can dig it She often makes cute gestures, speaks in an airy tone, and dotes on others and appears to be easily excitable, impressed, or dazzled, even by the simplest things such as fireflies or a scenic view. she's KAWAIIIII~~~~~<3<3<3 She's poetic and romantic, and a lover of love. She can be a bit romanticized about things. Most see her as this adorable girl who is pure of heart and never does anything wrong. Over the years, she has learned to perfect this "perfect girl" or "fairy" persona. Though there is a certain level of true innocence about her, she is not as dainty and dolly as people would like her be. GOOD GIRL GOES BAAAAD

Even with the skillful play of her role, there are sometimes slip ups in her mannerisms. In actuality, she is quite the tomboy. Though she enjoys girly things and being feminine, she just as much enjoys stereotypically boyish things. Sometimes she may burp out-loud, play with insects, explore a haunted house, or forget to sit in a lady-like manner. She's not afraid of getting her hands dirty and enjoying all the crazy things life has to offer. I mean, she's a shinobi. She literally fights for a living. I'm not sure how anyone could expect her to play the perfect virgin maiden when she's out literally killing people and making money doing so. Hanare feels trapped in her role sometimes and will often sneak off to do things she normally wouldn't be able to do in her normal form, like play male driven sports(she uses a gender switching jutsu to do this) no need for a special jutsu, she can literally just use transformation jutsu. You would be surprised by how many times she has gotten drunk at an underground party or rave. She often has to hold back her opinions, as not to come off as rude, unladylike or inconsiderate.

This is why she yearns for every opportunity to be in her position as a kunoichi. Being an idol and putting her life on the line are two very different things, and she feels free from societies expectations of her when the only thing that matters is completing the mission and living to see another day. It is this duality that makes her sensitive, compassionate, and sympathetic to the difficulties and issues of others. Hanare sometimes views the world through rose-coloured glasses. But her empathy is what also makes her a bit moody at times. One minute she may seem cheerful and next, shes crying. She probably wouldn't admit it, but even she has some slight tendencies to act like a spoiled brat when she doesn't get her way. She may pout or her cheeks become flushed and rosy. As her name suggests, she feels a "separation" between her true self and how the world sees her. fair enough. this was a good read.

【History】
Hanare is an ninja. Hanare is also an idol. why And with money comes privilege. Meaning there is a certain image she has to maintain when in public and her "job" practically requires her to upkeep this reputation that the people of the world have come to know and love her as. She is a beacon of purity, according to society that is. Hanare was trained in dance and song for several years until she debuted as a child actress at the age of 8. 'A to B, A Love Story'. It bombed. Miserably. And was deemed one of the worst productions of the year. Luckily, all the negative publicity about the movie brought attention to the pretty young girl, who soon began receiving offers for CFs(Commercial Films). It was during this time that her mother fell ill to a poison and her father began imposing his ideals on how she should behave when in public. No longer able to be her tomboy self, her father thrusted her into extreme femininity and daintiness. pervert

The public seemed to enjoy this "Pure, Fairy, Lady-like" image she had been perfecting over the years, but underneath the glamour, she was feeling clouded and muddled. Like their perceptions of her were more important than her own perceptions of herself. Her older brother figured it was probably their father wanting her to mimic their mother. Hanare's mother, even though she herself a kunoichi, had always been extremely feminine, demure, dainty and lady-like, from the way she spoke, to the way she walked, to her mannerisms. Even when she fought, it was very graceful. Hanare was literally the exact opposite. Ungraceful, tomboyish, and opinionated when she felt it wasn't fair that her brothers could do things she wasn't allowed because she was a girl. Her training in dancing and singing had only given her a new talent, not changed who she was as her father had expected.

Over the years she appeared in several successful films and commercials and at 13, was modeling for adolescent brands. She was becoming more recognized by the public and their immense love of her spawned the title, "The Nation's First Love", coined by 'The Lightning Cloud' weekly tabloid. At age 14, her mother died. And with the only maternal connection she had lost, Hanare became a bit rebellious, threatening to runaway and "quit" being an idol if her father didn't allow her one thing. To be a kunoichi. It wasn't that she liked to fight or see conflict, but in her eyes, it was one of the few ways to stay connected to her. don't get me wrong but it seems unlikely that you can get to be a chunin without any training in the shinobi arts just because you're famous.

Her mother was a kunoichi, so Hanare does her best to mimic everything her mother was. Her father was greatly displeased to put his daughter, aka. asset, in harms way and at risk. But he was always busy with his own business agendas and eventually gave in to her request so he could be done with the continuous and ever growing quarrel between the two of them. In actuality, quitting the entertainment business isn't as simple for her as simply saying "I quit". But her life as kunoichi not only allows her to honour her mother, but gives her precious moments to step away from the limelight of the world and simply fight for whats right. son in her life, what's right? what is really right. anything can be right. was Pain right to destroy Konoha? no. but it was a means to an end and to him, it was right. you should think about things like that before you write 'fight for what is right'. Her life is a juggling act. But in her eyes, its worth it. Being an idol isn't all bad. It's just not the totality of who she is as a person.

Hanare lives in a family that has always been pretty well-off financially. Her grandfather inherited a large sum from his father and the fortune has since passed down through the generations. Her mother died several years ago, so the family dynamic is less maternal and more financial. Her father only really sees her a marketable object to the masses, an idol to appease to the world and shine as a beacon to the other nations. Her aunt and older brother are the only people in her family that doesn't place the value of money over another person. Even her little brother seems to have a spoiled and entitled mentality, a common trait amongst the men of the clan.

The wings of a Tanpopo are unique to their own and can share resemblance to any winged insect from a wasp to a dragonfly to even a moth or a ladybug. Their wings vary in transparency as well. In Hanare's case, she sprouts pearlescent semi-transparent butterfly wings. They slightly glimmer under the rays of the sun. bootiful

While in fairy form, she can fly, is incredibly elusive and evasive, and it allows her to be stealthy and remain hidden from sight. Her size allows her to go easily unnoticed in most cases. Her strength is boosted while at a reduced size, similar to an ant. Additionally, beating her wings can release streams of scales that resemble sparkly dust. This is often referred to a fairy or pixie dust, which can have various effects on other people and things. now i'm not sure if you understand this, but... when we say 'ants are strong' we are talking relative strength.

Ants are strong because they can lift x amounts of their body weight. Do you know how much a ant weighs? It's not much. Just because we say they are strong doesn't mean that they can destroy all earth on life.

So when you say she gets stronger, similar to an ant, do you mean that she can lift small objects that you wouldn't think a pixie could, i.e. a small pebblestone? Or do you mean she can punch people in the face and send them flying?
Weaknesses:
This highly evasive technique, although useful, has a drawback. Once this jutsu is activated, it cannot be deactivated until 5 minutes have passed. This is to allow the mass that was shed when the technique was first activated, to be re-accumulated before it can be reapplied to the body once the jutsu is cancelled. This leaves her in fairy form for at least a minimum of 5 minutes before she can return back to regular size. She is fragile in this form, which makes her extremely vulnerable to annihilation if she is not careful. Maintaining this size slowly drains her chakra.

If her foes inhale her dust, they fall into the genjutsu and under her hypnosis. While under hypnosis, the foe is placated and obeys her commands(typically controlling them to fight for her). However, she can control them for in other ways , such as putting them to sleep. Heavy rain can dampen the effect or wind based jutsus can be used to blow the dust away, ending the hypnosis. Stronger willed foes can resist the hypnotic effects of her fairy dust. She can only maintain the hypnosis for a maximum of 30 minutes(5 post, Excluding other roleplayers and certain Unique NPCS). and since it's a genjutsu it can be easily dispelled by other shinobi. that's a given

This essentially makes her appear to be invisible. While the fairy circle around her is still active, she can cause others to become invisible as well should she come into close proximity with them and they enter her fairy circle. The genjutsu doesn't last long and the circle of fairy dust is prone to being blown away by wind-based jutsus, essentially cancelling the genjutsu.

At first glance, Sabo is a bit reserved, he doesn't pick fights, nor does he tend to get involved with them unless they immediately involve him. this is kinda your go-to character formula isn't it He's plenty clever and capable of formulating advanced plans - yet, a complete retard when it comes to expressing his feelings or non-factual thoughts. He can talk for hours about the best point of attack, how the wind and air pressure affects the battlefield. But if you ask him how his day was, he'll likely shrivel up into his proverbial shell and give you a two word response. Sabo isn't too concerned about his own feelings, or even the feelings others have about him, he believes in being judged for his feats. he's a potato more or less

What can be learned from an interview with Sabo? Well, he has sheltered himself and whenever he feels stressed he reverts into tactical thinking, not above self-sacrifice or performing lesser-evils to serve the greater good. He's a greater shinobi and tactician than he is friend or leader, but at times, that's exactly what is necessary. No sadistic urge for violence or to cause destruction, yet the tactical viewpoint to be able to make the hard calls many others would not have the stomach to make. but does he even have the authority to exert those 'calls'. not really right.

【History】

Childhood: 0 - 7

Sabo's dad, Gesurama is a famous explorer and adventurer, one of the few who will make the history books despite having no ability for ninjutsu what so ever - even if it's just on a page that will be glossed over one slow tuesday afternoon. He earned moderate stardom due to his foundings of the early days of the shinobi, before the ninja caste was created formed and people lived in countries, not villages. Gesu made such findings as weapons that indicated warfare before there were fire spewing demi-gods dominating the battlefield. A lot of his findings suggested that once upon a time, regular people who could not use chakra fought on equal grounds with the ninjutsu wielders. A lot of insurgents over the years used his findings as the grounds for their wars on chakra users, much to Gesu's dismay.

Not that he was too concerned with the outside world, he was more so concerned about the next moutain to climb or the next old crypt to explore, aspects his son, Saborama would take after his father. In his early years, Sabo was to be an explorer, just like his father. He practiced mountain climbing and all kinds of survival techniques for most of his childhood, spending two thirds of the year outside of the village on camping trips with his father. then he became a shinobi and he could climb a mountain without really any effort

Academy Years: 8-12

While out exploring, a rockslide came down to the two who was about to bunk down for the night, Sabo was about to get hit by a rock when his father jumped in the way, pushing him out of the way and getting his lower leg crushed by the rocks. Sabo cried for help, and just as another rock was gonna crush him, the two were saved by a squad of four shinobi, three genins and one sensei. They used their incredible warrior-magic to destroy the rocks in an instance as well as protect the two explorers. And like that, a fire was lit in the young boys heart. His passion for excitement and thrills had been found in a different path than the footsteps of his father - pun not intended.

Gesu would have to retire from exploring, for quite some time, returning to Kumo with the four shinobi who had saved their life, the two settled back into their old house and Sabo soon started the ninja academy. His know-how of the world, acrobatic and survival skills all gave him a leg up on his peers, yet, unlike the others, he knew next to nothing about the ninja arts, thus, being quite the slow study. so basically, booksmarts about 'you can survive by rubbing two sticks together' but not actual 'if someone tries to kick you in the nuts you do x and y to stop him' ok

Genin Years 13 - 16

Graduating from the academy the same day he turned 13, his headband probably his favorite birthday gift ever. During his stay in the academy and his earlier field missions, he quickly realized he had a more critical, tactical approach to things than most of his peers did. Sabo didn't spend as much time practicing throwing shurikens as he did doing the math to make sure that the one shuriken he did throw would hit. Most notably, and what would set him apart from his fellow genin, and give him his own niche was the location of an old ninja scroll in his father's archives, a scroll his father had found in his younger days of adventuring.

It was jutsu scroll. Reconfiguring his way of fighting around his new jutsu, it took him almost two years to get it right - just in time for the Chunnin Exam. Breaking his hand and dislocating his shoulder was worth beating the smug amegakure ninja, and a sense of pride - a feeling Sabo rarely felt, a sense of accomplishment rained down onto the young man when he was presented with his very own Flack Jacket.

He was a Chunnin of Kumogakure now. He wasn't a boy anymore. Now he was a man. he's 17

【Fighting style】

Agile and intelligent. Exposing and finding the enemy weakspots. Maximum affect with minimal effort is Sabo's motto. His brains coupled with sharp reflexes and even sharper jutsu, he's a sealing ninjtusu / Taijutsu hybrid not oftenly oftenly, i find myself wondering if i, too, can create new words that do not exist yet. oftenly i do that by putting -ly behind already existing words. found. He holds a strong offense, but beyond getting out of the way of his opponents attacks he lacks any real form of defense. Nor does his combat style lend itself to ranged assaults. Sabo would rather direct a fight than participate in one, though.

so in that sense, he's gonna have a shitty time, because as you know, chunins dont lead squads when there are jonins around to do it

Description:

Ancient technique found in the ruins of the Whirlpool village from the Uzumaki Library.

A time-sensitive seal that will automatically come undone in X seconds. During these seconds, the user is traveled through an alternate plane of existance - essentially sealing himself inside of the world of Summons. Once the timer runs out, the user pops back out into our world having moved in whatever direction they were moving in the other universe. Movement in the Summon-realm is much shorter than in the real world, thus, one step in the summon world is tens of meters in the real world. Effectively allowing the user to teleport in a short "blink".

First part of this that is wrong is that there is an alternate plane of existence where summonings live

That's false. Summons live in (often secluded) areas of the world. I.e. the frog mountain? That's a real place, not an alternate plane of existence.

However, sealing one's self away for too long is dangerous, as the creatures in the other plane of existence does not take too kindly to strangers and they will literally eat you alive. When the user vanishes they do so in an ultraviolet glow and reemerge in a bright glow. The seal is usually put on the user's arm and has to be triggered by putting one's palm against it and turning the palm.

Second off, there's a reason we banned FTG jutsu. Namely that, well, it's a cheap technique. This is basically FTG with a workaround.

And you haven't even bothered to put limits on the jutsu. He can infinitely teleport himself around. And don't say 'well he can't stay sealed too long!' because, we both know that he's gonna disappear and re-appear within 1 post. So this technique is denied.

The User puts down two seals where the boundries between the two planes of existance is made thinner, allowing one to "punch" through the dimensional barrier and enter the summon realm, thus allowing movement. Theoritcally, the distance could be intercontinential, but Saborama can only make portals with a travel time of half a second, meaning his portals can be no more than 100 meters from each other. This technique allows the user to build momentum for increased speed.

He performed the latter during his Chunnin Exams, hitting his opponent through an earth wall, approximately increasing his striking power by 2,000%. But twenty times the force comes with twenty times the blowback, as his shattered hand, broken arm and displaced shoulder would attest to.

Ancient technique found in the ruins of the Whirlpool village from the Uzumaki Library.

A Two-part seal, requires a scroll and a partner. One of the two partners performs a jutsu onto the scroll, where the seal will trigger and absorb the technique, then a seal will appear on the partners shoulder, allowing the partner to draw on it with their blood to activate it. Once activated, it sends the stored hakra into the user, allowing them to perform the technique without any hand signs, disregarding such things as chakra natures, or even if the one triggering the seal knows the technique. Sabo can store C-rank techniques and below.

So this technique lets someone store a jutsu in a scroll, then a seal appears on their shoulder that stores some chakra in it. The partner then activates the seal on their shoulder -> that gives the chakra stored inside to your character -> he then uses the scroll jutsu?
