Updated-
I’m Pascal, and I am looking for a few more role-plays, since a few of my partners have tapered off or gotten busy.
If you are interested in some more specific plot ideas, check out the ones below.
Finally, please PM me if you would like to discuss ideas or have your own plot hooks you would like to suggest. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my interest check!

high casual: I write at a high casual level, with 2-4 paragraphs being the typical amount per post. I di have a job and life responsibilities, so occasionally take up to a week to respond.
OOC is a Must: Speaking of OOC, I really think it is important to have good communication with my partner. I am happy to create another PM for OOC chat. I can also plot and such via Discord if that is easier for you.
World Building: Communication is great for making sure that we know when the other is too busy, but also for world building. It is very important to me that we work together to create an appropriate setting and culture to fit the world we are creating. I want us both to create side characters, and be able to discuss which ones are “owned” and which can be shared.
Characters: I don’t know enough fandoms to play in any of those settings, or with pre-gen characters. I prefer to build the primary character and world together. I have no preference for gender that I play and prefer plots without romance/smut
PMs: I prefer to play games in PMs rather than threads.

Please be willing to work with the information I have provided about myself. I need you to be able to write responses that contain dialogue, thoughts, reactions, etc. It doesn’t mean that every post has a multi-page flashback to something unrelated to the plot in that moment.
I need a partner who is willing to talk out of character, and build the world and characters. That also means if you are a female who only plays females and won’t contribute to or play any side characters who identify as male, a game with me probably won’t work out.
I don’t care what gender you are, but I do request that you be over 18. I understand that some people are more or less mature than others, but please respect that choice of mine, as I am in my 30s.

Medieval Fantasy- I am fine with high or low fantasy, though I would have to have a great plot presented to consider something involving werewolves or the like. My interests lean towards plots involving magic, and unlikely allies.
Science Fiction- I can do modern or futuristic, if we have some super/mutant/apocalyptic events involved.
Other Tropes and guilty pleasures
Time Travel or Interdimensional travel- Either by technology or a magic spell gone wrong, this is another way that I enjoy putting someone out of their comfort zone and exposing them to something new.
Mistaken Identity- doppelgangers, parallel universe copies, etc.

Of Gods and Men / Demi-Gods Quest – Demi-gods, children of gods and humans, struggle with the flaws inherited from their divine parents. Two or more demi-gods join forces to recover artifacts that could remove their weaknesses, or even grant full godhood.
Magic Isn’t Evil / Treasure Hunt – Magic items exist in a world where some view them as treasures and others as curses. An adventurer from a family of collectors sets out to discover what happened to a missing family member, dragging an unwilling local into a journey full of dangerous magic, mysterious artifacts, and moral dilemmas.
War on Magic / Magic Persecution – In a medieval-style setting, magic-users are feared, hunted, and on the brink of extinction. Plots can follow: mages fighting for freedom, non-mages working politically to end the war, or a noble discovering they have magic and needing help to control it or hide it.
Magic and Royalty / Resistance – Someone in a royal family discovers magic within themselves and must hide it while navigating captivity, dungeons, or political intrigue. They may work with mages to escape, join a resistance, or reconsider the moral failings of their family’s persecution of magic-users.
Disowned Royalty x Commoner – A disowned noble (due to overthrow, betrayal, or family plotting) is forced to flee or survive among commoners. They learn life lessons, leadership skills, and self-reliance while navigating new dangers, possibly with a servant or ally. This could mix with the magic/resistance plots above.
Fish Out of Water / Time or World Travel– A mage (or group of mages) flees a powerful ruler, experiments, or a war, and ends up in another world or time. They must navigate unfamiliar technology or societies, sometimes bringing along (or being joined by) a modern person who develops magic along the way.
Siren / Loves First Kiss – In a mermaid or aquatic fantasy setting, a siren seeks a soulmate through a magical first kiss. If mismatched, the mortal partner may drown. Plot centers on finding each other again, navigating underwater and abovewater politics, and the lore of their kind.

First Contact / Teleportation Mishaps – A human or alien accidentally teleports onto the other’s ship or territory. Plots can involve first contact protocols, cultural misunderstandings, accidental treaty breaches, or attempts to blend in and avoid discovery while seeking a way home.
Two Worlds / Magic vs. Technology – Magic-users and tech-users once coexisted, but after a war, worlds diverged. Magic-users forget technology-users, while tech-users remember. A character gains the ability to jump between worlds, opening opportunities for diplomacy, revenge, or resource recovery.
