We totally need a place that's just a large wasteland full of monsters. It would probably be a good place to have around the outside of Hunter's hideout.

Areas... well I would assume that Hunter has a base of operations, and some form of civilization... But... we should probably only allow only a handful of areas open at the beginning for players to choose from, so then we're not spreading the players out too thinly, and come up with new areas as we go.

Hm... as I said before, probably somewhere civilized, but given the horrific nature of the rest of these areas, it'll likely be dangerous as well, and it'd be best not to trust anyone in that town... After all there should probably be a place wherein people can resupply, get their wounds treated, rest, etc.

Maybe Random cities or towns that we could potentially cause mayhem in. :P Ty's a homeless bum so no hide out for him. XD he's gonna just crash at Hunters like:
