If you want to be a part of the group, you need to commit some energy to it. tl;dr when the thread is this short is just kind of insulting. If everyone else can understand the instructions and follow along but you require special treatment and summaries, that means that you're not putting in the effort, and it's on you to deal with that. It's not up to the rest of the group to tag you with a mention if it so happens that you're relevant, and it's your own job to stay caught up with what is going on in the thread.

Hey, I've got an idea! Why don't we all write in journalistic formatting! That way we only need to read the headline or the first line and we can ignore the rest.

Warrior Kills 8 in Bar Brawl, Slightly Injured

The warrior killed 8 combatants and receiving minor injuries while frequenting the bar at the inn. Witnesses say he was provoked when an NPC questioned his masculinity. Bla bla bla, more text that adds details but doesn't actually change the circumstances or the results.

But seriously, dude, if you are working overtime to avoid reading... you do know you are on a text based roleplaying website, it's the nature of the beast. You might want to look into Neverwinter Nights(totally cool game) or that D&D online thing if reading is that cumbersome or time consuming for you.

It seems you are the GM that gives zero fuck about the players. Cause you don't care if there are any players left to play cause you didn't tell them anything.

There were two options there: either I stayed in charge of that RP and kicked out all the people I didn't want in it, which would have included you among others at that point, or I hand the RP over to the one person in the group I felt had any real idea of what I was trying to do in the first place and hope that the players had a good time without me. Would you have preferred that I kept running the RP and told you to hit the road? Because that was the other option I was heavily considering.

Your post count, especially when you flout it in a double post, in no way invalidates or excuses your uncooperative attitude or your reluctance to put in what seems like the minimum amount of effort.

I'm not interested in derailing this with an argument. Please figure out if you want to put in the effort for this or not.

So you make an RP, then you kick players you don't like. Huh. That is real good, way to go. If I couldn't make a decent CS or speak english then sure. With that you are in no moral condition to tell me anything.

If you wanna bitch about you being butthurt over a thing not relevant anymore than sure. I would have liked to be noticed about the RP starting wihout having to see "are you guys out" as the indication. Nvertheless I am here, made a CS and read the messages. You still arguing over it. WTF

Dude, you are leading us to believe that you don't care for reading what other people write because of some reason. YOU @6slyboy6 are the one saying that it is too long for you. Now, this can mean only a few things and I'm hoping it isn't 3.

1) You don't have time
2) It is taking more effort than you can commit
3) You don't give a crap about what other people write

Now, you, yourself @6slyboy6 have stricken down 1&2. And frankly it is flat out rude to ignore what other people are saying.

Now, if you want to play... then play. That includes reading what other people have posted because that IS the game.

If you want to advertise better ways and higher heights, we aren't looking for that here. There is no sale for you, and you need to look somewhere else.

I don't even care about you saying the same things over and not trying to understand me.

I don't have much time to read all the messages on the site so I try to read it fast and sift through to find the important stuff. But if there are way too many messages I might as well ask the GM what is this about so I can save time as he/she already knows.

I DO read every message (expect one other RP but I have my reasons for that) and I DO put effort into this. You won't find any IC posts made by me that are less than 2 pharagraps. Can we get over it now?

@6slyboy6 Dude, I am trying to make sure I understand you, because it would be super easy to say something like "If you don't read what I write... there's the door." I am not trying to chase you away or harass you or anything, and I'm trying to accommodate you. But I can't do that unless I know what the problem is.

And there IS a problem.

I don't let problems fester, I fix them.

So, this I have to say. I don't think you understood that I was recruiting people and not players. From your actions and statements suspect you would have been less enthusiastic about this group if you caught my vision. I get the impression you are looking for die-hard players and friends? Sure friends would be nice too but are not required.
That's fine. You just want to play and stop having games bottom out on you. I totally get that and I'm with you on that.

So, how does this compromise sound to you? You don't bother reading the OOC if you don't want to, and I can PM you anything of relevance. HOWEVER, you MUST read the IC thoroughly, this is because people are going to be writing artistic and literary portions of text FOR YOU, and it is flat out rude to take that effort and toss it in the trashcan of your brain. Does this seem reasonable?

I'll read the OOC too when I have time I just don't want to miss info between 5 random pages that popped up overnight only to find people hinting at info that was in them.

The meta stuff's just a setup for why many of us will have basically the same character in many different worlds. I don't think it will really affect anything.

It's kind of like Deadpool's fourth wall breaks. Sure, he knows he's in a comic, but it doesn't affect the story much.

I'm not planning on seeing it. Not only is it yet another Jar-Jar Abrams movie that is ruining the franchise, but with the new "fan film guidelines" they've shown that they care more about minuscule profits than the fans. When a franchise cares more about making money than their fans it's rarely worth watching anymore.
