@Rex Uh, the changes were made in the Characters tab post only, since it was already in there. Just so you're aware. Anyway, here's a submission for my character's second partner.

tl;dr of Hidden Strike: It's a "two-turn" attack like Fly or Dig (more specifically Phantom Force, except Dark-Type) for the most part, but deals damage based on whether or not it'd be more beneficial to use Mega Greninja's Attack or Special Attack stat, as well as depending on the opponent's weakest type. And then Ninjutsu lets Mega Greninja benefit from STAB too. So.

I saw, but quoted the wrong post also, second partner is accepted.

Wait, so you're saying that Hidden Strike:
• Works like Download, basin off of the enemy's lower defenses
• Changes type to hit the strongest weakness, basically making it always do ATLEAST 2x damage since every Pokemon has a weakness if ignoring Abilities
• Gains STAB, no matter what
• Breaks through Protect, Substitute, and other moves similar
• Has 100% Accuracy and 90 Base Power.
• Benefits from Priority from Ninjutsu

Forgive me if I say thats pretty FREAKING BROKEN, especially with the base 125 Attacking stats. AG would be holding two Pokemon if such an attack existed.

Anything that could counter Mega Greninja w/out that Move would be neutered the moment he used it.

Edit: I digress, this is an RP, not a competitive game XD If the GM's okay with it, I will as well

Edited Mega Hydreigon's Hydra Blood move to clear all negative status conditions and negative stat modifiers too.

1. Ninjutsu provides both the +1 Priority and the perma-STAB. Hidden Strike doesn't gain STAB "no matter what", and on most Pokemon would only gain STAB when its attacking type matched up with the user's type (though I could perhaps slightly alter it to clarify that that's also usually what it aims for within any given weakness check if possible); that's just how it interacts with an ability that changes the user's type to match the used move's type. And no, it doesn't ignore abilities that alter resistances or provide immunities.
2. The attack's stats and Protect breaking you described are basically cloned from Phantom Force, as noted in the move description itself: most two-turn moves such as Phantom Force have power and accuracy around that level, and Phantom Force does benefit from breaking through most moves intended to provide attack immunity, which I figured would be appropriate for an attack where the user basically sneak attacks the target to deal a bunch of damage.
3. Everything else, i.e. Defense/Spec. Defense checking, strongest weakness striking, and 125 Attack and Special Attack, is additional stuff that's not necessarily broken on a Mega Evolution Pokemon, or on the user-created moves that the GM specifically told us to make for stage 3 evolutions such as Megas, and again fits the theme of "ninja sneak attacks a weak point for massive damage".

That said, I'll be fair and admit I'm half-seeing how much Rex will allow with the player-made stuff. Apparently, quite a lot. After some deliberation, including input from another player, I've decided to rework Ninjutsu so that only Dark-Type moves get +1 priority; I've also altered Bombardier to only apply to Fire- and Bug-Type moves, though mechanically speaking, that doesn't actually change much for Mega Volcarona. Moreso for Pokemon who receive the ability via Skill Swap, but...

@Rex: Is the Pokemon partner able to telepathically communicate with its trainer, or is communication verbal only? This determines whether my character's Pokemon partner will be able to directly communicate with his tulpa.

@BCTheEntity
1) I understood this, but in the case of Mega Greninja it would always have STAB because of said ability. If there is no Weakness (Elektros and other similar Pokemon), does the attack use it's base Dark typing, or hit for neutral damage using a random type?

2) While Phantom Force DOES have the same 2 turn + immune to invulnerability, it does not gain priority given by an ability (Which pretty much gives no counterplay unless faster w/ +1 or +2), nor 2x damage because of weakness in (almost) every scenario. This problem is apparent in LC w/ iron ball Fletchling and Fly, but probably not as devastating as Mega Greninja. Slower Pokemon could get him after the attack, but not much will survive a STAB 2x Weakness attack with Arceus level. I can only see this as monstrous in any matchup except against Uber walls.

3) I have no problems with these problems in singular, but very much when put in tandem, leading to my earlier edit: I have let go of my problems with this Move since it is an RP. I would probably writhe and struggle in rage if it was a competitive Mon, but this isn't competitive. I'm cool with it, but I just wanted to put it out there that I was against it at the time. :P

I appreciate your changes, and I'm pretty excited for an IC post any day now :D

1. Again, perma-STAB is largely a facet of Ninjutsu, rather than Hidden Strike; the "no weakness" scenario was covered in the move description:
selecting a random valid type to deal damage as if multiple types are valid for this purpose; 4x type weaknesses are prioritised first, followed by 2x type weaknesses if the target has no 4x weaknesses, and then by types which the target does not resist if they also possess no 2x type weaknesses

In other words, if the Pokemon is one of those rare ones which has literally no weaknesses at all, Hidden Strike's type is just a random type derived from one of the types the target doesn't actively resist, i.e. 1x damage is dealt as far as weaknesses go.
2. Priority attacks of notable strength do exist, and can be used effectively by plenty of Pokemon, especially given that three of Mega Greninja's moves now lack STAB. Also, focus sash.
3. Uh, alright. Thanks, I suppose. I'm kind of wondering why nobody else has put their 'mons in the Characters tab yet, myself.

Said Ability meaning Ninjutsu. Most of my problems were with the Ninjutsu + Hidden Strike synergy more than the move on its own before changes (maybe I shouldve been more specific? XD), there are few priority moves that do more than 40 power (ESpeed and Suckerpunch), and Ishouldreallyshutupalready"itisoverisntit?"butI'mhavingfunforsomereason.

@ianzerep Oh, right. I mean, Protean also gives STAB to all of the user's moves, in fairness... Ninjutsu just happens to boost Dark-Type priority by one stage too. And accuracy, but who cares about that am I right hahaha... ahem.

...that's not what I asked. I asked if the Pokemon partner is able to telepathically communicate with its trainer. Yes or no? Assuming it isn't Psychic-type.
