An evil overlord would have to obscure actual evil intent.

Generally-speaking, fairies don't want any part of actually evil things. Mischief is far more fun for them.

You can totally buy their service with sweets though.

The previous captain did die, poisoned by Phoran Cal after he faked surrendering. She killed him, at least, but yeah.

To clarify, Elionne was the first captain. The other captain was the captain prior to Fanilly, there's been a lot of captains between them.
