@The ZAX Well, I need to post within three days anyway or I'll be kicked from the game, but I've had a good streak of posting in other games going, so that bodes well. I'll try and get something out for today; did you want Sett to interact with Harvan specifically, or just that he does something other than eating food?

EDIT: No, wait, you definitely do. I'll take that into account.

@The Fated Fallen I know, right? I mean, the cloth he's wearing is reasonably high quality and all, but it's literally camo digs. And yes, pyjama knight's armour. Proof against pretty much the same things as regular knight's armour, plus knives, since you can't really have plate covering joints very well. Just add thick leather, and you might survive a mace strike!

It's genius! I can't wait for him to stroll onto the battlefield in light silks and go full Conan!

I just reread your posts. I could have sworn that there was a part where it came up that Settionne was a priest early on. It turns out I made up a made up interaction completely in my head. Apparently I'm delusional, which I had always suspected but this confirms it.

I just reread your posts. I could have sworn that there was a part where it came up that Settionne was a priest early on. It turns out I made up a made up interaction completely in my head. Apparently I'm delusional, which I had always suspected but this confirms it.


I had Alice make assumptions based on her knowledge of Vrettonnia and knowing he wasn't a noble despite the clothes. I specifically made a point of not knowing what god he served though and she could be convinced he isn't a man of the faith

I saw that but I was coonvinced that at some point someone referred to him as a man of the cloth outloud... And I'm not in any other RP's so I know I didn't confuse this with another one. -_-

I can always edit in a retcon somehow, this was my bad.

I’m happy to go back and do some retconning, I’ll let you make the decision though. Since this will primarily effect your character I can roll with whatever, I just want to make sure I didn’t accidentally mess up any plans of yours.

Hah, thanks. This is basically my first time doing a PbP but I DM a lot in meatspace, so player agency is something I make sure to keep in mind when playing.

You know, when I read about my character being 'volatile'... I was thinking of those often horribly large power plants in some real-time strategy games I've encountered so far. In Supreme Commander / Forged Alliance, they explicitly bear the 'VOLATILE' attribute, which means if damaged seriously enough, they'll blow up, dealing massive damage to their surroundings. And you know... In Supreme Commander, you have adjavency bonuses. You are rewarded with increased production or efficiency if you build energy storages or metal fabricators around the plants. Both of these buildings are volatile as well and don't have that many hitpoints. Of course, in order to save space and get as many adjancency bonuses as possible, players often build large packs of them, and often they don't build that many shield generators as defense or emergency firewalls.

Can you see the problem and can you see why this came in my mind as a perfect analogy for An-Hassts psyche ?
