The God Game

You have been selected to participate in The God Game.
Surely everyone knows of The God Game but a brief explanation shall be given. Early in the 29'th century, all of the worlds leaders began to fight with each other. Wars began, resources dwindled, and many many people died. Having enough with the incompetence of their leaders, elected officials, their governments, the people , the common man, revolted against every single government in the world at the same time. Of course, this solved the obvious problem but not the problems in the long term. Wars between countries and nations ceased, resources began to replenish, and for a while a calming peace was brought. But this did not last long. Without government and structure, things began to fall apart. As the old saying goes, a man by himself is smart but men grouped together are stupid. People began fighting again, at first over major issues that arised but not too later over small things. Brother turned against brother, neighbor against neighbor.
Bu then a single man, one who will be hailed as the Hero of Earth, brought forward an idea that would save mankind form itself. This man was called Professor James Malone. He brought forth an invention was revolutionary. Even in the 19'th century technology could only be so far advanced. The idea of active virtual reality was thought to be impossible. Too many limitations, too many risks. But Professor James Malone was able, somehow, to create a machine that allowed for a set number of people to enter a virtual world. Everything felt real to the touch and smell, taste, and to all the senses. But there was risks as well. Any harm done to your virtual body would scar your real body. Death in the virtual world would not kill you, but every death would plunge you closer to madness. Insanity. In the real world and virtual world.
The professor proposed an idea. This type of invention was unique. With current tech already known, they could identify certain traits and genes in any human on the planet. When certain babies were born, born with certain genes compatible with the VR machine and more, they would be tagged in the VR command console. These tagged newborns would be brought into the life of luxury or the life of hardship. Luxury if the babies family had zero criminal history. Hardship if there was any cases of serious criminal history, serious meaning murder or worse not shoplifting and the such. They would be observed at all times secretly. No matter what social class, if they became seriously injured they would be given the best medical care available. The game would begin one week after the death of the God of the world, no matter the age of the person so long as they could walk and talk. Oh yes, the winner of The God Game would be chosen as God, ruler of Earth and all its nations and people. That was the solution. Mankind was violent when presented without structure, but when given leadership by someone with zero corrupted interests mankind would flourish. As God, God would have everything. All the money, power, and their every wish would be granted. All they had to do was swear to rule fairly. That way, God would want for nothing. They could rule fairly and just.
The game itself is simple. The contestants would be transported to a reality similiar in aspects but vastly different in others. They would live in Capital city, a highly populated city. It would reflect modern day cities, very suburban with little open country areas. Unless you know where to look. But a few things would be different. Monster are real, such as vampires, werewolves, and so on. This would test the contestants reactions in highly random and unpredicted and random situations. Each contestant would be given a random ability, ranging from shooting fireballs out of their hands, to being able to memorize anything instantly and recalling it perfectly at any time. This would test the contestants reactions to having God like power. Their objective? Live...and survive. They would be given five thousand dollars to start, and one set of clothes to wear. No weapons or anything else to start. No home, or shelter, or food. They can spend the money as they see fit. Contestants will be randomly given life threateningly events. If a contestant dies, they reappear in a random spot in the city, but they start to become unstable. They fall more and more to the clutches of insanity. This goes on until all but one contestant is left, one who has not died. Contestants who have died are free to act as they see fit. The God Game is given a five year time limit. Contestants are free to live as they see fit, do whatever they want. Contestants can fall in love. get married, find a job, become a criminal. Contestants are....free so long as they can survive. The winner of the game will be announced after the five year time period, provided with reasons why contestants lost and one contestant won.
To be chosen is an honor and cannot be denied. If any rules are broken, punishment will be swift and harsh. The rules are as followed.
Rules
1. Contestants shall participate, and shall not try to reject the game.
2. Hi guys its me dabombjk! Not that weird red color word guy. Lets keep everything.....you know....not vivid. In this rp, I do not care if you make a collab or post where someone gets brutally murdered or hurt, bones get broken or snapped off, and while this is a touch subject yes r*pe scenarios can be posted. But nothing about any of that can be super detailed. Lets not get banned from the guild huh.
3. No automatically killing each other. BE WARNED EVERYONE WILL DIE AT SOME POINT. So embrace it. Its a must. It must happen once. If a character has gone without dying once for too long I as GM will make a death scene for them. But like I said it is part of the game. Also I forgot to mention it but the virtual people in the rp will not remember you dying. The role player characters will remember. The virtual people will remember some one died but not who.
4. If you are inactive for a week, or inactive for 3 days while your character is in the middle of something with other people and people are waiting on you I will move your character for you. More than a week and your character is removed unless you pm me.
