Yomiko sighed and held her sword in her hands, leaning against "He's late again...im going to kill him when he gets here" she looked at her watch and looked in the distance, it began to rain slowly began to, pissing her off even more "yup, im going totally kill him..." she put up the hood of her over coat and watch rain race down her sword, mesmerizing her a bit. She was so easily distracted by things like this, maybe it was because until recent she hadn't even know what rain was only the sound. At the house with Kenta, he has to pull her inside because she was just standing in the rain opened arms. Maybe it was her child like mind or maybe it was the fact she was locked away in the Ishiyama house for most of her life training, but one thing was for sure, she wasn't entirely mad at the current situation. She opened pulled up her eye patch and opened her other eye getting a clear veiw of the rain only managing to make her less concentrated even more.
Harao flicked a coin onto the bar of the ramen shop as he got up from his seat. "I'm going to be in some trouble if I don't get outta' here soon" he said to the owner as he made his way tot he door. Stepping out into the bustiling village, Harao could smell the rain in the air and the droplets on his face. He sighed, pulling close the strap that held the case secure on his back. Harao began up the street, sticking his tongue out to catch raindrops as he hummed. He knew Yomiko was going to be angry with him, thus taking as much time as he could before he had to endure a mini scolding. Retracting his tongue, Harao squinted and saw his good friend leaning against the wall of a shop. "YOMIKO!" he shouted, "I can explain!" he followed as he began to put on a hopeful smile. Harao sped up his pace as to not keep Yomiko waiting any longer. "See, what happened is-- er.." Harao said as he interrupted himself with a small chuckle. "There was a sale on Salt Tongue Bento. I couldn't pass it up!"
Yomiko looked off to her right paying attention again and the anger had somewhat died down but she was a tad bit annoyed "Please dont keep me waiting like that Haro-Kun, you know i dont like that" she sighed, today was to big of a day for her to get angry, her first real mission was going today, as well as Harao. They had become ANBU around the same time so this was a big day for both of them. She waved for him to come and she linked arms with his walking without waiting for his protest "And you lucky I'm excited today, but in future events if your going to keep me waiting you could atleast by me something to, meanie"[/color] she smiled and looked up at him through her right eye. She slid the eye patch down and looked around as the rain started to pick up. She twirled her sword around her right hand keeping her anxiousness preoccupied. Harao could most likely feel her shaking a bit but she ignored instead just countinuing to walk towards the Amekage's office.
Chuckling, Harao embraced the armlock of friendship the two had going on. [b]"Whenever we go for ramen you never want anything. I mean, I could've bought you something and had the chance to eat it on the way to the Amekage's office!" Harao's mouth watered at the thought of it as tiny bento boxes danced around his mind, parading their tasty insides. Harao knew Yomiko was a bit rattled knowing their first mission was nigh. He could feel trembles of excitement running through her bones as he clutched her arm a little tighter. "You know, we'll be completely alright Yo-Yo. Not like I would let anything happen to you-- unless there's food involved! Harao laughed before consoling Yomiko again. "I kid. I wouldn't trade you for food. Who'd watch me eat and joke so nicely about my love for food if not you?" He looked up at the rain and took a deep breath. He was usually composed in most situations but this was big for him and Yomiko. Things like this usualy bring Harao to the edge. He felt clueless as to what what would be required of them. He felt even more clueless knowing that he didn't have much info to properly prepare as much as he'd like but understood as an ANBU operative, much is expected of them. He smiled as the two continued up the street, rain falling around and on them.
Yomiko elbowed Harao in the stomach lightly and giggled "You better not trade me for food, Kenta would kill you, and then I would haunt your body until the ends of time" she winked at him making it a promise and she laughed some more. She stopped shaking a little bit after he grabbed her arm and she raised and eye at him "Since when have you been so passonite about protecting little ol me, if I remember correctly I had to bail you out of that situation with that girl, which you still owe me dinner for, and new clothes" she refered to a time when Harao was trying to get rid of a girl that liked him and he asked Yomiko to play his girlfriend. Only to find that the girl that liked him was a "tad" bit jealous and dumped their food all over Yomiko, the only thing from stopping Yomiko from killing that girl was Harao when he literally picked her up and walked her outside before Yomiko lossed it. That was awhiles back but she still sort of holds it against him jokingly.
"Haha! I was hoping you'd forget that." Harao said as he titled his head back to let out a few more laughs. "I have to protect you. I'd hate to have to be the one doing the explaining to Kenta! Besides, that girl would've drove me into the ground with her madness! Let's say this, when we get back home, ramen's on me!" he said as he looked down, giving Yomiko a big grin. "You ever see her around anymore? I wonder if she feels the same about me still? I could go for a free bowl of ramen, ya'know, a date type of thing." Harao thought of the jealous girl a bit more and quickly changed his mine. "No, forget I said that. That was never said!" he shouted, gaining the attention of a few villagers and vendors. "What do you think we'll be assigned to? Think it'll be something totally hard? Maybe it'll be something like never before." Harao looked back on a few of his previous missions in his mind, replaying a some of his toughest moments. "Maybe I'll even meet people with chakra natures I've never seen in the field of battle!" Harao loved the vast amount of chakra natures that existed and often seeked users of those he'd never seen before. "Liiike... A blaze release user. Those Uchiha are tough folks. Maybe even a crystal release user!" He knew he was talking Yomiko's ear off but he couldn't help it. She was the only person he actually opened up to.
Yomiko laughed at his excitment and enjoyed his enthusiasm. In truth she knew that these missions could possible take weeks, maybe a month at most depending on the mission so they would most likely be taking reports of the nearby villages and countries as well as gaining allies, so that would mean alot of reports and mental logs of things. But it was quite possible that they could see new things, hell she really never knew what the Amekage would send them on or if they woulf be together on a mission. Though she two was wondering what they would be doing, nor did she want to run any Hons, that was something she would be looking forward to. She looked up at his smiling face "Well it depends on what we will be doing, but I do want you to know these missions could take a while depending on what we get, as well as I'm not sure if we'll be together on a mission, It would be fun but it is quite possible we wont be so just prepare for that, and im holding you to that rammen when we get back from our missions so dont go dying on me now" she had a serious face and a bit of a smirk but she was serious.
Harao frowned at the thought of not being teamed up with Yomiko. "I guess you're right." Harao said, thinking to himself. "I'm not worried, I know you'll be fine! After all, you wouldn't die without getting that outfit and ramen from me." Harao smiled as his mood was lightened again from the flashback. He squinted his eyes as he began to see the Amekage's office up head. "Not much farther" he said in a calm voice, trying to reassure himself not to worry at the same time. "You would think the rain would have began to settle by now. That's never a good sign. Oooooo! Ooooo!" Harao mocked the lousy ghost noises he'd read in books. There was nothing about the rain that Harao liked. If it was up to him, everyday in Amegakure would be sunny and sweltering like those days he spend in Sunagakure during his childhood. He often missed his mother and the village but knew that nothing there could help him move forward. Nothing but lies and vague lessons rested in the Sand. Harao places his hand on the shoulder of a villager, moving him to the side kindly to make way for Yomiko. The smell of a roasted pork aroused Harao's senses as he turned, taking in a huge whiff of the scent. "Yo-Yo! Can you smell it? The smell of fresh braised pork smoked over a sparking fire." Harao asked as he continued to clutch Yomiko's arm, still searching for the source of such a delightful smell. "If only there wasn't business to be tended to! If only!" he said to himself, chuckling.
Yomiko sensed a tad bit of sadness in his voice when he learned they may not being going on a missions and Yomiko lightly punched him in the cheek "Stop being sappy you, your the older one and yet i still ahve to clean up after you" she smiled and tapped his chin with her knuckle and pushed his head away "Now now, your going to have to change that little sad tone of yours and get serious, which also means no food, absolutly no sto-" he tried to smell for food and Yomiko pushed the larger boy along, getting some looks from the other "I swear...If you dont...move your ass...im going to...kill you" she said under breathes while pushing the boy as he tried to go for the food. She looked at the Amekages office and looked back at Harao tempted to punch him in his stomach.
Smiling at what Yomiko had to say, Harao displayed a huge grin on his face. Constantly turning his head to harass the pork selling street vendor, Harao couldn't get enough of the aroma. Harao turned his head back around, having been harassing a vendor for the past 30 seconds. He didn't know what the tugs were for until he turned around noticed they were right in front of the Amekage's office. Harao looked at Yomiko and smiled, "This is it." He headed up the steps, straightening his face before opening the door for Yomiko. Looking back at Yomiko, Harao nodded and extended his arm towards the door. This was it and the talk and walk with Yomiko definitely took his mind off of all the anxiety flowing throughout his bones. Harao knew this was the beginning of a new journey and was excited and a bit nervous about what lie ahead.
Yomiko was happy she wouldn't have to waste the energy of punching him and saw him shaking a bit, she grabbed his hand and took his mask "Remember to always wear this okay? Gosh your such a mess..." she felt awkward in this postion and her heart was beating "What the hell are you doing Yomiko? Seriously stop thinking about things like this..." she slid his mask to the side a bit "If you ever tell a soul about this, or let this get to your head im going to kill you, seriously Harao..." she gave him a small peck on the lips and went back down from her tippy toes. Instanly putting on her mask to hide her blushing "Just incase something happens..." she fixed his mask and montioned for him to open the door, the door to new missions and new challenges.
Harao smiled the whole time Yomiko adjusted his mask. The closer it got to him having to be serious, the less he would. He took in everything Yomiko said and watched the girl contemplate quickly. The small kiss bestowed upon Harao's lips lifted his spirits and he his grin widened. Still, he would not talk. He knew it was time to get serious, after all, he wanted to look seriously prepared in front Yomiko. He adjusted the strap holding his case on his back and knocked on the door of the building before slowly opening the door to the Amekage's office. Looking back to Yomiko, Harao whispered, "Ooooo" in the same cheap ghostly manner as he had before. Waiting until Yomiko was completely through the doorway, Harao placed his hands behind his back and slid into the door's opening before it closed, ready to present his services and himself to the Amekage
