All the character's I have ideas for are either too 1st string or too overpowered! :P It doesn't help that I'm not that familiar with the more lesser known characters of the Marvel Universe!

I always just browse comicvine.com for stuff. And you know, it's funny that people claim DC heroes are too powerful and God-like, yet with Marvel there's all these near immortal mutants with super healing factors, Norse Gods, and even minor characters have like 6 or 7 powers. I know on the old forum I called it "Superman level powers" when it was more than just a power set along with enhanced physical attributes... with Superman it's waaaay enhanced attributes on top of sensory powers and whatever else people wanted to drag up from the 75 years worth of cannon material. It's not that much to put a limit on powers and to cut a few of the less important ones altogether. If I use Jack of Hearts I'm going to simplify the shit out of his origin so he's not half alien/half human while also powered/mutated by some experimental cold fuel his father was developing....

Well, here's what I did when I first started doing AU Superhero RP's. Look through the wiki until you come to someone catches your eye, be it because you like their costume, or you like their power, or whatever, then, just make your own story up about them, eventually, you get curious about them and sit down and properly learn about them. That's how I learned about Captain Britain and Spider-Woman, as well as a host of other cool characters that nobody seems to ever talk about... And I even learned to like a few of the... Less appreciated characters from Marvel. Such as Howard the Duck.

As far as less appreciated characters I always loved the more space themed Marvels like Starhawk, Capt. Universe, the Imperial Guard, the other Nova Corps characters that didn't look like Nova [like a separate Justice League of sorts within the Corps], etc....

I was considering Squirrel Girl as I know people mentioned her before but no one really claimed her, however I doubt I'd do her justice!

Also considering Chase Stein, with him being the last surviving member of the Runaways along with Old Lace

If we don't decide on characters soon I'm probably gonna do something similar just with a DC theme... again I'm going with either Jack of Hearts or Red Wolf depending on what you guys go with.

So long as it wasn't reworking X-23. She's too first string and the Wolverines seem too over powered with the senses, healing factor, adamantium claws/bones, berserker rage, etc...

I am Over her though how she is overpowered when compared with others is curious but of little matter
