@JaceBeleren When checking out the rigger sample I noticed there was bot a car and car b/r skill, what is the difference? I have no idea since I can't find the car b/r skill anywhere in the book

@rush99999 A lot of trolls were actually originally humans. The way UGE (the thing that caused orcs, trolls, dwarves and elves to turn up) works is that a pair of humans would have a child and during puberty the child's metahuman traits would start to show (with the exception of dwarves, who simply stop getting taller after hitting about 4 feet). If a pair of trolls were to have a child, it would have probably have a typical human name since if you go back far enough all trolls have only human ancestors, same thing with elves, orcs and dwarves. So basically a typical troll name is a typical human name.

@Duthguy A lot of skills have a b/r variant skill. This is short for build/repair. Basically, someone with the car b/r knows how to fix or even build a car from scratch, assuming they have the correct materials and tools. Skills with b/r variants include all vehicle and weapon skills, the electronics skill, and computers skill. To find out whether a skill has a b/r variant, it will be written at the end of the skill description. All b/r skills are paid for seperately to the primary skill (most people who know how to drive a car still couldn't fix bullet holes in it), and use intelligence.

@OllumhammersongI don't like some of the changes they made in 4e, which they carried on into 5e. Plus, what first got me into it was a Youtube rp in 1e. It was easier for me to learn the game with more similar mechanics to the original, because that was basically my first understandng of it.

4e was a clusterfuck of dice to accomplish anything. But i did like it for going into detail on a lot of things. And i actually didn't mind the character creation on it. 5e is alright. I haven't sat down and played it often enough to say whether it is shit or not.
