TVTropes can indeed be entertaining, and a major time killer.


I agree - only when I have nothing better to do. Otherwise I'd realize I have completely forgotten to have my food and do my daily chores. It's a time killer and a time waster.

I've gotten lost plenty of times there, honestly. Especially since I research tropes a lot for my writing and for literary study purposes.

Hey, I saw your thread and it looked super interesting! I'd love to join, but, unfortunately, I just started on something that might turn out to be another big project for me.

Just thought I'd stop in and say good work! It's a neat concept and I'm kinda sad that I'd only be able to half-ass it if I did join.

Well, if you end up having enough time to join you'd be more than welcome, so remember that. I don't expect the posting length to be extremely excessive for an advanced role-play. For the most part, detail and depth will be more important than how much content is put out, so I imagine it'll make things easier for people to post. Quality over quantity, per se.

Good luck with your project, and if end up thinking you'll have time feel free to jump in if there's still openings. I believe the recruiting process will take a while. This role-play requires all players accepted before the role-play can commence, so I doubt the IC is starting immediately. I've also set the posting schedule to a week - give or take - which I think's pretty lenient.

@Pudding Oh gods, yes! I just recently went back and watched the original series. Then dusted off my PS2 and bought Infection and Mutation (both of which I've finished before, but I just love those games.) Picking up Outbreak and Quarantine with my Christmas moneys.

I'm glad ya caught that! No one else has really commented on it!

@CrazyShadowy It feels...surprisingly comfy. I'm used to being encompassed by umbrage!

Man I wish it was easier to type on my phone.

@NekoMizu Honestly the show isn't for everyone. it's super slow-paced and lacking a lot of action...but I always loved the psychological aspects of it.
