Nobody made a character in college so Violet wouldn't really know anyone... Maybe she'd know of Ashton through her parents but that'd be the closest to her knowing anyone.

Her parents were rich aren't they? If you're rich, there is a strong possibility that Luna had been called by them or something, and maybe they once saw each other.

My character wouldn't know anyone eithet, even though she does come from a rich family. Her family should still be in Atlanta, even though she herself is stranded in Harlan.

They could have met by introduction of her parents but nothing more than that I would suppose.

Just as an FYI, the timeline in my post is going to take place the morning after the gala.

@Superman in the original, we also started with the events following that evening.

EDIT: What occurred at the gala was revealed through flashbacks.

So you guys are aware, I try to leave things as open as possible. We have certain goals and things we have to do. A certain direction we have to go in, but other than that, we're pretty much open to do whatever.
