Raiya followed closely behind Nemo as they entered the room. The murky water that covered the room reminded Raiya of the swamps of Florida. She'd visited Florida before in order to take back control of a branch of her Crux gang that had been rebelling. The stuffy heat of the humid Florida climate was not her speed, so she did her best to end the insurgency quickly so she could get back to her penthouse in New York City. After an exchange of words, the suave looking cutlass wielder used a spell to move all the swampy looking water upwards and out of the room.

Raiya took a moment to examine their opponent. She activated manalysis while observing him but it didn't seem like he was too powerful. She assumed he was suppressing his aura to some extent, but she was still confident that either one of them could take him on their own.

"So, how do you want to do this? Rock, paper, scissors? Drawing lots? I have some dice we could use." Raiya suggested. When the man with the cutlass raised an eyebrow at her questions, she sighed, and rested her left wrist on her katana hilt, "To see which one of us fights you first. I mean, you don't honestly think you could take us both on at the same time do you? It would be over much too quickly, and that would just be no fun at all." She smirked. She turned back to Nemo, "You can choose the method. I mean, we can even toss a coin if you want. I don't mind." She stated.

Travis couldn't see the results of his attack so well but the sudden discharge of heat exploding ahead of his cryo spell likely meant that Roy has responded and countered as a plume of steam spewed almost everywhere from the point of impact. Travis wasn't a genius tactician but through the many run-ins with disciple witch hunters, he figured that Roy would take the opportunity to relocate and attack from a flank. The problem was however from which direction.

Travis frantically looked around for any trace or cues of Roy before the former witch hunter could pounce on him. It didn't take long for him to pick up on the activity that was occurring behind him. Something hard hit the ground followed by hastened footsteps approaching him. He quickly swung around as fast he could with a rune already beginning to form in his hand. However that spell would not come to pass as a billow of crystalline dust engulfed him. Another hunter tactic he was aware of but only after a brief moment after being covered in the stuff. He first found that the still-generating glyphs in front of his hand faded away and another second would go by until he found that Roy was already on top of him and bringing in a swing of his dagger at him.

With no real way to defend himself, Travis tried to desperately evade by forcing as much weight as he could behind him. Whether the maneuver would work or not was still up in the air as he pulled his forearms out to defend himself as a reflex of not wanted to be slashed. It was then at a mere split-second before Roy's weapon could reach him did Travis take note of something dark; pitch-black in fact was the entity that loomed over he and Roy.

Uh oh.

"I coin toss would do fine. I usually have them handy." Nemo replied, reaching into his leather jacket and picking out a large solid silver coin. It was the same type he used for various payments in the underworld, the silver variant was the most common overall. He held up one side of the coin, picturing a basic runic circle with a angel in the middle among some writing. "Heads." He stated, then flipped it to the other side, revealing a witch hunter anti-magic style circle with a demon in the middle. "Tails." The sides acted like a yin and yang to each other, effectively cancelling out any type of real magical effects they might have.

"Since it's my coin I think it's only fair I get to call, I'll go for tails." Nemo explained, rolling the coin across his knuckles before flipping it high up into the hair. He caught it with his left hand an flipped it on top of his leather glove. After lifting his left hand off he grew a rather disappointed reaction. "Heads." He revealed. "I hope this fight will be more satisfying for you than the last was." He added. Nemo was a bit disappointed, not just because he was going to have to sit this out, but because he had hoped to work more on their synergy during this outing. But he resided in the fact that there still was likely to be much more adept enemies to utilize than on.

Caspian grew even more annoyed than before after the coin toss. If clearing out the water wasn't tedious enough, having to be insulted on his capabilities of handling the fight was even worse. The outcome didn't bother him much, while Nemo had annoyed him, and insulted his intelligence, he found her condescending comment much more infuriating. "I'll be sure to try to keep you entertained." Caspian said between gritted teeth and he pulled his cutlass from it's scabbard once more, it now glowed a feint blue. He was ready to fight.

Everything seemed to slow down for Roy as he tried to contemplate what was happening. He was beginning to regret engaging all three of these enemies by himself. His dagger slash quickly became the least important thing to him once he noticed the large looming shadow coming towards him. Realizing that if he followed through he was likely screwed, he gave up and diverted his attention to the new threat before it was too late.

With most of the dust blown away, it made creating a spell more difficult, but possible now.

Roy sidestepped away from Travis and creating a glowing sigil from his palm to try to stop the attack. It expanded out to be much larger after being activated. But to Roy's dismay, instead of stopping, it ethereally passed right through. For a minute he resigned himself to his fate and counted his lucky charms, but instead it passed right through him as well.

Roy was about to click his heels together in joy until he heard a gunshot. With the shadow hand taking most of his attention and all of his remaining mana he gathered, he was mostly helpless against it. Roy though fast and tried to dodge by leaping away and spinning in the air acrobatically. The slug barely missed by ripping through the coat and shirt around his stomach, leaving a awfully painful sting in the line that it passed though. But in the end, Roy still felt lucky.

Roy rolled back to his feet away from the group, he seemed to be upset by the fresh hole in his coat. "Now that wasn't very nice." He commented. With no mana left, he didn't feel like going back on the offense yet until he was more comfortable with what this group was capable of.

Raiya beamed with excitement at the win of the coin toss. "Better luck next time, Smiley-san." She grinned, "Don't worry, I'll lit you have dibs on the next guy." She concluded. She activated her enhancement aura, a crackling pinkish aura of electricity pulsated throughout her body. Her hair began to wave softly, and her ahoge stood straight up as it received electric charge. She tossed off her leather jacket and hoodie, leaving just her black tank and fishnet shirt.

Raiya stepped forward, accepting the win of the coin toss. She tilted her neck to the left and right, a soft series of cracks could be heard as she did so. She continued to step forward closing in on her enemy. "Try not to die on me too quickly, okay?" She chided. Then she narrowed her eyes and assumed a battle posture. She angled herself a bit sideways, putting her right leg in front of her left leg, and she hunched over placing her right hand on her hilt, and left hand gripping the saya.

Using her enhanced speed she stepped quickly within striking distance, and used iaijutsu to draw her katana in a horizontal quick slash,

Zoey searched for Nemo's mana signature on the ship and sent an illusion his way. It was just a voice, it would sound like it was in his head. "Ran into some trouble on the deck. There's a witch hunter up here. Figured you'd want to know, in case you needed to add some fingers or whatever. Also, Zuri has become some form of shadow." She then teleported and relocated to a new angle, a little further back and off to the left, took aim at the knife shoulder, and pulled the trigger.

Nemo made sure to hastily catch Raiya's jacket and hoodie before they hit the ground after she tossed them. The last thing he wanted to see is any bare clothing hit the moist floor of the room they were in. He spawned a metal object from his inventory and planted it onto the ground. Afterwards the object started to fold out, transforming into a basic chair. Nemo sat down and crossed one leg over the other, giving him a good view of the fight.

With the opportunity present, as a master tailor Nemo could help himself from inspecting Raiya's jacket further. It gave him a better insight into it's design and her size. Zoey's message then ran through, interrupting him, but at that point he was satisfied with his inspection anyways. He neatly folded the Oyabun jacket and hoodie over the headrest of his chair and used his manadial to type out a reply. The no doubt paragon induced storm made it near impossible to communicate out of it back to Felix, but since they were still miles from the paragon itself it was still possible to communicate via dial on the ship.

"I've got a front row seat down here for a performance I'd hate to miss. Besides, it's three on one up there, I'd hardly be a sportsman if I came up there and bumped that number up to four. I already feel bad for him.

If he becomes too much to handle send me another message and I'll be there. But until then, have fun. As for Zuri, I'm sure Felix would be interested in that, but her shade is of little concern to me. You seem to be the shadow expert anyways."

After sending his message Nemo went back to viewing the fight.

Caspian found Raiya's speed and draw impressive, but he expected nothing less from someone holding a sword such as hers. Speed was often the nature of katana wielders. He used his cutlass to narrowly parry her attack with his right hand. He used his left to pull out a small flintlock from his side, one he obtained from another member of their crew. It had a blunderbuss style barrel, various ornate details and runic engravings, and was capable of firing without any type of ammunition inside, instead using the wielders mana and acting like a wand to channel the energy into attacks.

Caspian fired the weapon point blank, the barrel lit up blue and hissed as it briefly charged before spewing out an impressively sized wave of concussive blue energy.

Due to the trajectory of his shot, Nemo had to extend out his gloved right hand and use his magic to dispel the wave once it reached him.

Due to the nature of the wave blast that Caspian had discharged, Raiya was not able to dodge it. Raiya had a choice to make, she could waste excessive mana to create a barrier or take the wave head on. Her manalysis revealed that the wave's nature was only concussive so she decided to grin and bear it. The impact of the wave sent her backwards and airborne briefly. The feel of weightlessness and the sudden jolt of the force gave Raiya the sickening feeling of butterflies in her stomach. Other than the displacement, though, the wave didn't do any physical damage to her. Raiya reoriented herself midair, back flipping and landing on one knee.

The weight of Raiya's odachi made it difficult to cast spells with a separate hand. Normally she would just cast her spells using the sword as a medium. But due to the fact that this enemy was a quick threat in close quarters and at range meant Raiya had to switch up her tactics. Raiya closed her eyes and thought about it for a few seconds. Still knelt down on her right knee, she quickly flourished her sword before sheathing it in one quick solid movement. Her odachi then disappeared in a puff of pinkish lightning back into her manainventory. She then opened her eyes and stood back up. "I must admit," Raiya began to speak, "I am not used to fighting someone who is skilled at both close quarters and ranged combat. It's normally one or the other." She extended her right hand out in front of her, her palm face up, "That doesn't mean I haven't planned for every contingency." She smirked. The familiar energy dispersion of manainventory summoning consumed her hand and dispersed leaving a peculiar object. What was left in her hand was an empty black katana hilt. Normally the hand guard of a katana hilt was held in place by the blade, but it seemed that the shiny hand guard was permanently attached to the hilt. The guard itself was a hollow triangle of polished stainless steel attached to the hilt by thin jagged lightning bolts at each point of the triangle. The hilt wasn't corded, and it wasn't made of wood like normal either. The sleek hilt was mostly made of metal, with small rubber grooves for finger grips.

Raiya gripped the hilt and began chanting an incantation in Japanese under her breath. "Watashi wa hone kara niku o wakeru..." Her mana began to fluctuate as she began her incantation.

"The work I do requires me to be flexible in my capabilities." Caspian replied. He was puzzled by what she drew next, it's lack of any blade confused him. But he knew well enough that it wasn't a joke. Caspian put his glowing sword up and flourished it himself twice before underhandedly scraping the blade onto the ground, kicking up sparks. The magic seemed to enhance the action, emitting much more sparks than usual. He then fired his flintlock into the cloud at Raiya, igniting them further and generating a cannonball sized purple ball of fire and energy. Besides being incredibly hot, the spell would conclusively explode the first thing it hit.

It appeared whatever apparition Travis had discovered was also noted by Roy whom quickly disengaged and sought a defensive action instead. Zuri's voice then resonated from the shadowy figure, assuring Travis of some unspoken plan before lashing out a series of dark waves toward he and Roy. Sharing the same expression as his assailant, Travis too anticipated the worse but instead found the would-be attack helpful as the dust that prevented him from casted spells was then blown away neatly. The particle surge of dark-energy was apparently nothing more than an illusion has we watched the waves phase harmlessly right through him and dispersed. Trickery aside, it had at least spooked Roy just as much as it did he.

After nearly grazing a shotgun slug, courtesy from Zoey, Roy quickly backed off and opted to distancing himself to a temporary but safer position. Travis drew in mana to his palms after lengthening them out in front of him with a few spells he had in mind to use but decided to reserve them for the moment. Regardless, he kept his eyes set on the ex-hunter, not wanting a repeat of the situation moments ago.

“Neither was trying to shank us.” Travis retorted.

Raiya saw the blue ball of flames surging towards her. There was little doubt that it would either horribly maim her or straight up kill her if it hit her. But she stood fast and finished her chant, "...kaminari o shōkan suru!", she shouted as the fireball closed in. As soon as she uttered the final word of her spell, a pink shifting blade of plasma instantly burst forth from the hilt creating a curved katana blade of pure burning plasma which was contained behind a thin invisible mana containment barrier which created the shape of the blade.

The fireball was upon her now and she had to react fast. Raiya still had enough time to activate her speed aura and moved out of the way just in time. She could feel the heat radiating from the ball is it sailed past her and exploded on the wall far behind her. She flitted towards her enemy, her blade almost weightless in her right hand, and her other hand lifted up with mana charged in it, ready to cast a spell at a moments notice. She closed in on her opponent, quickly lept and dropped down with a vertical slash on the side of her opponent. If he blocked the slash, his blade would either be cut in half if it was not enchanted, or begin to become unstable as the enchantment would be unable to shirk such vast power.

Caspian tried to assess the situation as fast as possible. By the looks of her new weapon, he felt that it would really sting to have it connect. He knew that he wouldn't be able to block it with his normal blade, and it was already too late to try to generate anything clever. Thinking fast, Caspian channeled more energy into his blade before blocking.

Luckily, Caspian's blade was enchanted. However during the block the aura of the blade began to falter, and soon enough small sparks began to fly up as the edge started to get damaged. He let out a growl and pushed back as hard as he could to break away from her. Caspian inspected the edge of his cutlass and was horrified to see a small chip in it now, something he previously thought impossible. He eyed Raiya with a scowl. "I guess I was wrong in assuming that someone with a samurai sword would fight with the same honor of one." He spat out.

"I'm sure it'll buff right out?" Nemo heckled from his seat.

He found that channeling more energy into the blade was harder now, as if the sword's enchantment had been disrupted. The effect seemed to lessen over time, but it took using any significant spells through his sword off the menu for this fight "I suppose the at fault is me. In the end what good does fighting clean get you? If it's life and death on the line the only thing that really matters is winning." Caspian said before holstering his flintlock and rushing in towards Raiya.

Caspian charged his sword with a small spell and swung at Raiya with one hand. Should the cutlass connect with her plasma blade the charge would immediately disperse from the interference into thick vapor. Caspian intentionally devised this to blind her for enough time to follow up with a small knife he was carrying in his free hand. Should his trick pay off, he'd try to stab her with his knife hooking from the left towards Raiya's right ribs.

"That's jus' how I say hello." Roy replied to Travis. He used a knife to deflect Zoey's slug with an impressive display of reaction speed. It let out a piercing pang when the side of the blade came into contact with the metal payload. Afterwards he slung the damaged knife towards Zoey as repayment. The knife curved towards her from the left, aimed at her chest.

Figuring Zoey would be busy with the knife, Roy pulled another grenade from his belt and tossed it towards the group. This one with a three second timer and filled with a disorienting purple gas, capable of impairing vision to the people caught inside and induce coughing.

Raiya smirked at the distress that her enemy was displaying over the damage sustained to his blade. And further scoffed at his comment about honor, "You know nothing about my honor. And even more so, do not pretend to know about the honor of the kenkaku in history. Bushido is dead, and so is chivalry for that matter. All that is left is personal honor. You abide by your code and I'll abide by mine. But do not presume to know what my code is." She spat.

When he rushed her, she made a mistake. Not focusing on manalysis, and relying on her enhanced instincts, she blocked the blade with her plasma sword. Immediately a burst of steam clouded her vision. She was about to react by leaping as far backwards as possible, but before she could do so, the familiar searing agony of a knife wound flared in her right ribs. "Agh!" she let out a brief cry of agony. Fueled by adrenaline and her enhanced attributes she leapt backwards 15 feet. She looked down to assess the damage, noting a 4 inch blade lodged between her lower ribs. She wasn't coughing blood, so he had not punctured her lung, which was good. However, she could not assess her internal damage any further than a surface level diagnostic through the checklist of her apparent faculties such as breathing.

"Damnit!" Raiya screamed in anger as she gripped the hilt of the small knife and pulled it from her side, tossing it away. Blood began to spill out profusely from her side to the ground, she noted that he probably hit a main artery. She used the mana in her left hand to sear her would closed with a cauterizing spell. Her anger was sparked now, and she was more ready to attack than she had been initially. She charged a spell into her left hand and swiped her hand outwards, unleashing to fast moving pink orbs at her target, each orb arcing towards a different side of her opponent. The orbs each carried small electric current that would immobilize a normal target. Then she rushed straight at her opponent, issuing a quick horizontal slash once she got within range.

Caspian seemed less upset about his blade once he saw that Raiya had been injured. Her return fire brought his attention back to the fight. Caspian held out his hands to the side and fired off two blasts collide and stop the blasts arcing at him. However this action left him wide open to her slash. Caspian tried to move back, but found it wasn't enough when the blade cut through his clothes and seared a cut across his stomach.

It wasn't deep, but it was a wound all the same. Caspian felt pain not just from being cut, but from the sensation of being burned as well. While still feeling the sting, he followed up by stepping back in and swinging at her with his cutlass towards her left shoulder and down. But he figured that it would likely end up getting blocked, so he sent a powerful kick towards her as well, aimed right at her fresh wound by her ribs.

Nemo seemed to be a lot less entertained once he saw Raiya hurt. His expression turned emotionless and blank now as he watched from his chair with his head propped up by resting it on his palm.

It seems like her illusionary attack spooked both her teammate and her opponent. Zuri was on standby, waiting for Roy to make her next move. She tossed a grenade towards the general direction of all three of us. She raises her arms up and imagines the spell she wanted to cast which was similar to shooting small pebbles, but a shower of them. Mana running through her reserves and towards her hand, along with the amplification of her current state, pebble-shaped energy started shooting out from the circular rune that was hovering in front of her palm, aimed directly at the grenade in hopes that it would knock it away and maybe even possibly back towards the person who tossed it.

Raiya had never used the plasma katana in an actual battle before. Sure she had used it in training, and in fact, she was the one who theory crafted the spell and spell medium herself. While the hilt medium for channeling her aura through was her brain child, she had her gang's R and D team actually create the thing according to her specifications. In all of her test trials running the manadachi, she measured her mana before and after cutting through an object. All in all, her tests concluded that the weapon was efficient. However, she overlooked one thing that she did not think to account for. Her error was that she did not factor in collision with enchanted objects.

After her frontal assault with the pulse orbs' distraction she felt especially exhausted. Reaching deep into her manawells she realized that she was on low reserves. Impossible! Raiya thought. She stood there attempting to account for the extreme loss of mana, only to realize her mistake was not accounting for the enchanted sword. As she stood frozen in exhaustion and panicked contemplation, she did not pay attention to the enemy who launched a quick counter attack. She parried the cutlass, draining her mana even further which furthered her exhaustion. All of this distracted her enough to not see the kick aimed at her new wound. The kick connected and sent her tumbling to the side of where she was standing. She rolled a few times before coming to a stop face down.

The pain was immense, like a searing brand was being constantly forced into her ribs. She attempted to return to her feet but only manage to get to her knees before she coughed up a massive amount of blood. No doubt he had broken one of her ribs which had punctured her lung. "D-damnit!" She cursed, tears welling up in her eyes. How could I be so stupid!? I could have taken him easily if I hadn't had gambled with my untested technique. This is it isn't it? I won't ever get to find my parent's killer. I will die here without being fulfilled. She cursed herself as she punched the ground, awaiting her inevitable death that she was too fatigued to stop herself.

Roy had responded with lobbing what looked like another grenade. It's technical purpose Travis couldn't immediately ascertain. It soon didn't matter as Zuri from behind reacted and casted a spell, brought forth from a summoned rune. A flurry of small energy projectiles raced outward from their origin point almost like hail during a storm.

Travis decided now was better than later as he raised his hand in front and summoned a larger number of runes than before. Two cryo runes flanked him on both sides, one right on top of the other. He immediately discharged them, causing the magical circles to vomit surging clouds of freezing gases. With the humidity on the rise thanks to the growing and intensifying storm, the spells effects were more potent than before. While he had meant them for Roy, Travis however aimed the runes away the hunter and instead towards his sides about a couple of meters apart. His strategy would soon be made known as two large walls of thickened ice quickly materialized in the plumes' path.

If anything, Travis wanted to deny Roy any opportunities and limit his options, keeping him pinned to only a single course. Additionally it would narrow Zuri's barrage down an icy bottleneck. For the moment, Travis believed his stratagem would prove effective and forcing Roy to approach head on. A blessing but a curse as well if Roy was allowed to close. Nevertheless, it seemed like a necessary gamble.

Nemo watched the fight with manalysis, giving him a better idea of what was going on. He saw Raiya's manawell plummet and was curious as to how this could of happened. But he developed a hypothesis quickly enough. Her sword must be taxing her mana when it destroys solid objects, unfortunately Caspian's enchanted sword must issue a high tax. That small nick she caused must have tanked her wells. Before he could continue theory crafting, a more pressing issue seemed to arise...

Caspian rushed towards Raiya as she tried to cover. Not looking down on me anymore are ya? He thought as he pulled his cutlass up high, ready to finish her off. "At least you'll die by the sword." Caspian commented as he started to bring down his blade towards her neck. Unfortunately his victory party was cut short when the saya of Nemo's sword blocked it at the last second, preventing him from casting his death blow.

Shit! How could he of gotten here so fast without me noticing? Caspian thought. He must have some sort of warp, but even then I should of been able to pick up the activation.

Nemo pulled his sword up, pushing Caspian's cutlass up along with it. He let go of his own sword, causing it to spin around up in the air. With his hands free he reached out with one arm to grab Caspian by the arm holding his sword. Caspian soon tried to counter attack with his free hand by charging a spell, but was panicked to find out that while in Nemo's grasp he was unable to cast spells. He swung at him all the same, but Nemo easily ducked under it.

Caspian left himself wide open, and in return Nemo used his other arm to tightly grasp him by the throat. He lifted Caspian off his feet with a display of strength, and then violently turned and threw him away like a ragdoll in a show of force. Caspian heavily collided with the metal ground away from the pair. Nemo caught his sword once it came back down from the air and held it at his side.

Caspian groaned and slowly got back up to his feet. He picked his Cutlass back up and regained his composure. "Didn't anyone ever teach you to mind your own fuckin' business 'bino boy?" He stated angrily, dusting his jacket off.

"I apologize for my intrusion. But, with this matter, I simply must insist." Nemo replied. He tone and attitude seemed to be much less upbeat than usual. He didn't have any jokes, quips, or even an insult to throw in. Caspian let out a small chuckle in response.

Nemo looked over to Raiya, checking her condition, then looked back to Caspian. "Eight moves." He stated, causing a confused reaction from Caspian. "What?" He asked.

"This battle will have eight moves before I kill you. So unless you can kill me before then, prepare to die." Nemo elaborated.

Caspian didn't respond with any words, he simply let out a small scoff, smirked, and raised his sword up into a ready stance.

Roy's grenade was indeed forced back by Zuri's spell, but it exploded into a thick cloud of purple smoke halfway back to Roy, creating a barrier of noxious gas between them. Coupled with Travis' fresh ice-wall, it left him with only one option left: forward. And forward he went.

After a moment of silence, Roy suddenly burst forth from the cloud of purple gas, covering his nose and mouth with his arm as he ran through like a juggernaut. Besides a few scratches, he didn't seem to be significantly damaged from Zuri's pebble sized barrage. Trying to capitalize on the element of surprise, Roy then pulled two knives from their holders and hurled them at the two closet people, Travis and Zuri.

He was now much closer to the group, with a wall of gas behind him preventing him from retreating. For a witch hunter however, being closer wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

Raiya's wait for death seemed impossibly long. Her side throbbed in agony as she continued to cough up more blood. Right as she felt the blood lust of her enemy in front of her the swing her enemy issued was promptly blocked. She looked up to see Nemo intervene. Raiya couldn't decided whether she was happy or angry that Nemo had stopped her enemy from issuing the final blow. Her punctured lung kept her from pondering too heavily on the subject.

Raiya began to drag herself over to the corner of the room, crawling slowly on her hands and knees, each movement further increasing her agony. Once she reached the corner of the room, she propped her back up against the wall. Raiya would have normally used a spell to heal her wounds. But her manawells were all but tapped out. So all she could do was dull the pain with a flask of alcohol she pulled out of her manainventory.

Caspian was the first person to move, rushing towards Nemo. His cutlass lit up orange before reaching his opponent, as he swung at Nemo a trail of burning hot energy followed it. Nemo bent backwards to duck under the swing before spinning around and wacking Caspian with his unsheathed sword over the shoulder.

One

Caspian thrust his sword towards Nemo's stomach, but in response Nemo used his own to block and push down the cutlass' tip to the floor. He slid the saya back up the blunt side of Caspian's sword and hit him square in the face with it.

Two

Caspian yelped and stepped back, using his free hand to clutch his nose as a trickle of blood began to pour out. At this point he was starting to get angry with Nemo's conduct. The fact he hadn't even unsheathed his sword yet made him feel insulted. Caspian's cutlass lit up blue and he furiously swung three times at a distance towards Nemo. Three razor sharp crescent shaped energy waves were propelled towards him.

In response Nemo shot out his own X shaped blast from his hand, cutting through all three crescents and continuing on towards Caspian.

Three

Caspian dodged out of the way of the blast, but it continued on to hit the shield generator instead. The glow around the machine faltered, and the outer hull of it was damaged. Up above the shield around the captain's quarters began to weaken. Caspian let out a snarl at his failure to protect the generator. However at least it wasn't totaled yet.

This time Nemo moved in on Caspian. He swung his sheathed sword horizontally towards him. Caspian parried the attack with his cutlass.

Four

Caspian took the opportunity to try to damage Nemo by punching him in the stomach with an magically enhanced attack. In connected, but Nemo didn't seem be effected by it, absorbing the force like a punching bag. In return Nemo used his own enhanced punch on Caspian while he was still trying to decipher why his attack didn't work. It connected to his ribs, no doubt breaking a few in repayment.

Five

Caspian howled in pain, but it sounded more like a wheeze as he kicked Nemo away from him. He took a few moments to recover and moved back. "You know what... I'm starting to regret removing that water now." He commented in between breaths, letting out a small laugh at the end.

He suddenly pulled his flintlock back out and fired, launching a large blast of blue energy from the barrel at Nemo. The surprise didn't work, and Nemo used his warp to faze a couple feet off to the side. The attack continued on and collided with the metal wall, exploding and creating a large hole of mangled metal.

Six

Nemo placed his other hand on the hilt of his katana now, assuming a 'ready to draw' position. Caspian sighed and put his flintlock back. He flourished his cutlass a couple times before rushing towards Nemo. Nemo sped off as well, closely analyzing Caspian's movement. Once the two fighters met, Caspian raised his sword up and swung it down towards Nemo at an angle. At the last second Nemo used his warp to place himself off to the side and drew his own sword and struck in one fluid motion before they passed each other.

Seven

The warp had faked Caspian out, and his swing had completely missed. However the giant gash on Caspian's side signified that Nemo didn't. Blood sprayed out from it like a he had sprung a leak, and the rush of pain made it too hard for Caspian to even think of a next move.

Nemo turned his sword around and held it so it was pointing behind him. He then used the same spell from before to quickly slide himself across the floor backwards, driving the sword straight through Caspian's back and out from his chest in the front.

Eight

Caspian let out a small gurgle before blood started to spill from his mouth. His grip on the cutlass slowly loosened until he dropped it on the floor with a metal clang. Nemo withdrew his sword from Caspian's body and let him lifelessly drop to the floor. The sword seemed to absorb his blood just like before until it was clean as a whistle. Nemo then sheathed it and returned it to his inventory.

With that over, Nemo walked over to Raiya in the corner of the room. He crouched down, looking at her wound. "Let me see it." He said.

"Right, I've had about enough of this," she mutters from her new vantage, on top of on of the cargo containers. She points towards the horizon, always knowing where the moon was, and closes her eyes. A barrage of bolts of solid arcan magic flies from the direction of the moon at Roy, each about the thickness of two fingers. There was one aimed for each limb, his head, and his center of mass. Each hit would feel like being stabbedd with dry ice, and persist, causing energy burns.
