Awesome. My only concern here is that threads lock on this side if there is not some sort of constant pattern of posting and that's problematic.

Threads get locked in out of character chat automatically after a set amount of time idle, yeah. So I'm not sure if this will be able to run in a way that skirts that.

I talked to Mahz about lessening the restrictions on off topic in the manner of the “idle locks” and he seems to be considering it. I doubt this will really allow for a longer period of inactivity for those who are interested [it might make people more active], but it’s something.
