Capes of Denver is an RP game that's been going strong for nearly a year now, and is looking for more players to fill out some open spots in some of hte main teams, and we can always use more independent heroes and villains! Based on the popular webnovel Worm, it takes place in 2005 in Denver, Colorado. This is a world of heroes and villains, with people awakening to super powers every day. It's darker and grittier than most superhero stories, and apart from powers themselves, the world works very realistically. Just because you're strong enough to lift a car doesn't mean you will. The weight of the vehicle means that it'll bend and break from where you grip it. Etc. Etc.

The rest of the details are in the game itself! If this little taste sounds interesting, go check it out, and we're always looking for more players. :)

Do you need to know anything about the source material?

I like to think I've designed the game to be very user friendly and provide all the main details for unfamiliar players. Most of the current player base hasn't read the web novel and seem pretty happy.

Can i ask about the tone of the RP, and the plot that you all have covered insofar?
I would also like to know if the story is canon compliant?

@FiroIV Canon compliancy is one of the major details that I strive really hard to maintain. I specifically sought out a portion of the timeline where nothing big had happened in order to take place so that we could, for the most part, do our own thing without interfering with the events of the story and the world on a macro scale. Overall tone is realistic with dark, somber moments, and the occasional levity interjected. As far as actual story that's been covered so far, I'm kind of embarrassed to say it's actually only been 2 days in game (though that'll be changing up pretty soon). There's any number of side stories running at any point in time due to the sandbox nature of characters who aren't part of the "main story" teams. As far as the main story operates, the primary villain team has completed their first successful job, and the main hero group is about to deal with the fallout of that event, as well as having previously met one of the main villains and saving some hostages.

There's a good amount of social interaction in this particular game.
