So I'm already running a Classic World of Darkness game in the modern age, and I had two ideas for a setting for another game.

I was thinking, either a game set in the Dark Ages, or a western set in the Wild West. Whichever generates more interest I will work on.

@Letter Bee If you want to work on a Dark Ages game together, I'm down.

Out of curiosity, what races would you allow, and how powerful would they be allowed to get? Either setting is appealing to me.

I'm leaning towards the Dank Ages, but either works. Do you have a preconceived story in mind?

@ProPro All races besides Angels and Mummies for the Wild West because that wouldn't make sense. Mages can do everything besides their limits of Paradox and can't autowin against other races (IE: revert werewolves back to base form or summon sunlight)

@Spiffy I was going to read some sourcebooks for the Dark Ages or Wild West and come up with some scenario for the story from there, or have Letter Bee help me with the story

I appreciate your fast response. I suppose mages would be a source of great control considering the power of the technocracy.

@Spiffy Not sure if the Technocracy/Asenscion War will even exist in the Dark Ages, will need to look through lore for that

Looks like they don't. They had Fellowships in the Dark Ages, no Traditions/Technocracy@Spiffy

If I remember correctly, the Technocracy should only just be starting out near the end of the Dark Ages. Anyway, how willing would you be to allow races that only exist in the new WoD, like beasts and prometheans?

@ProPro We would have to see how they would fit in for the lore in the Dark Ages or Wild West. You can definitely play as something like a Gargoyle, however.

@Grec, On second thought, I was discussing things with a friend, and he told me I'd be happier running a Mages-only (Or if people insist on other splats, with Mages as the prime priority) game elsewhere. So, I'll have to withdraw my offer, then.
