Agreed, the characters need a chance to latch onto something, and especially to understand what's happening and how it affects them. That is exactly what's blocking me, haha. It's not enough to simply sweep the characters through the narrative -- the narrative should be structured around the characters' actions, should depend on their existence.

I'll go ahead and write, and see what happens. x3

Don't forget you're not the only one making decisions here. You might be laying out the narrative, but we will pick our own path through it. As long as you keep it open enough we'll take our own direction.

honestly i think that's one of her biggest strengths as a gm, so i wouldn't worry about that. ^.^ from what i see she's awesome at making sure the characters and their decisions are what make the plot go 'round.

fantastic. so we have two determined teenaged brown-skinned light-eyed black-haired tree/building-climbing mute girls.


this always seems to happen in rps i do with mok for some reason lol. (well… this is the second. but it's also the second rp i've done with her, so… pattern?) we end up with two main characters who reflect each other. in lantern it's these two princesses, one who tries to be as selfless as possible and tries to bring the dragon back into power, and the other is selfish at every turn and wants to kill the dragon. it'll be fun seeing how meryn and feela develop, if they share more things in common or end up as opposites.

meryn would not lol. she'd mostly focus on maybe getting it away from others and then losing it. actually, my girl's resourceful… maybe she'd figure out something clever to incapacitate it lol.
