Brooks did say that pulling people in could kill them. He's kinda avoiding that and the fact that the area is littered with temporal debris doesn't help his anxiety.

I gotta admit, I was pretty close to having the old man die, but with the body count of the day before, I decided to not put actual planned murder on the consciences of a bunch of teenagers, even if Tatiana has killed before.

And it wasn't shawn who made Laura stand down. Sure he had a part in it, but it was Wade who reminded her that they all had mutant family that would be slaughtered in a which hunt that would surely start a war between humans and mutants.

@Burning Kittyoh yeah, that reminds me. We're still kind of stuck in subspace. So either Tatiana wasn't there when Chrys pulled everyone in, keeping her from seeing the events gone down in said subspace, or she is still there with them, and cannot leave until Chrys lets them out.

Must of have missed that. I'll edit it.

Technically the way I had the evil corp pres die was by a Dhampir bite, indistinguishable from a vampire bite. So no Mutants wouldn't get the blame. That won't stop bigots from blaming Mutants if they absolutely wanted to, they could blame mutants for anything bad that happens without a shred of proof.

Plus as Tatiana said before the mission, there are numerous ways to make the evil corp pres death look like anything but murder. There are literally thousands a way he could die and his corpse so badly messed up it would require extreme testing to even verify who he was. Cable, Laura, & Wade just lack the conviction due to the job properly and letting a naive little boy with his idiotic morals get in the way. It is rather disappointing and pathetic, they wasted god knows how much time trying to get the job done and they just gave up.

... shouldn't there be a window in which characters can do something to stop that death from happening? Bonny is in a position where she potentially could and definitely would try to stop the murder (or at least delay his death until she wakes up), since I'd imagine doing all those actions (moving, latching on, and draining blood) would take enough time for her to mentally react before he dies. From "Cable's giant, chiseled, cyborg arms.".

@Burning KittyI'd hate to ask you to change your post again, but please at least just have your move lash out at them for not wanting to kill them, and Tatiana try to kill. I know that she has inhuman speed, but I do need that man alive for story purposes for at least a little longer, okay?
