Caleb was in the bathroom finishing up his last minute personal care. His regiment wasn’t overly extensive but he could hear Ambrose speaking to him and he called out from the bathroom answering his questions.

“That sounds good. You should relax and decompress from clases,” Caleb said as he finished and started getting dressed. His outfit was more on the minimalist side of things. He wore a black shirt and black skinny jeans with holes around the knee on both legs. His hair was combed but nothing fancy or over the top. He had taken a more relaxed approach to his image lately and he liked it but he hoped Ambrose didn’t mind. He did managed to put on a cuff around his wrist and earrings before walking out of the bathroom to hear Ambrose ask if he was ready.

“Yea yea I’m dressed,” Caleb said as he slid in next to Ambrose. “You okay? You know you can crash here anytime right?”

Ambrose relaxed back into the couch, taking in the sight of Caleb. Reflecting back on the Caleb he first met, he would think he has had incredible growth from back then. Or at least he understood him better now. Ambrose welcomed Caleb onto the seat next time, wrapping an arm around his shoulder. "Yeah I want to relax." He sighed as he leaned into his partner.

"Yeah, I guess I just don't wanna come uninvited." Amrbose shrugged and let out another sigh. "I know the rest of the group wants to meet soon... I don't know if I can though, I'm so tired." He pulled Caleb closer, pressing his face into his shoulder. "Even with the knives, I don't if we'll be able to win this."Ambrose thought back to that night, the scattered bodies and splattered blood. Those memories were still burned into his head, and he relived it most nights.

Caleb seemed to relax as soon as he was next to Ambrose. Despite everything they'd been through, they still had more to go through before all of this could be put behind them. He just wanted some level of normalcy in his life, but was it possible when he had the past no normal human could possibly have? He was lucky to find calm in the midst of the storm with Ambrose. He was lucky that Ambrose was able to keep him level and planted. He felt Ambrose's arm and he felt Ambrose get closer. It was calming to him and he was relaxed more so now then when Ambrose first arrived. The thought of the meeting loomed on the edge of his mind but as of that moment, he was enjoying the alone time with his boyfriend. It came so short and yet when it came he relished in it.

"You're not going to bother me if you decide to come over and crash. You know the pin code to get in, hell waking up with you beside me would be a beautiful change in scenery," Caleb admitted as his partner pulled him close talking about the issue at hand, and how he didn't want to get involved just yet. He wanted to relax just as much as Caleb did and he smiled. "Trust me, I won't let anything happen to you, I will keep you safe. You gotta have faith baby," Caleb said as he reached up and brushed his thumb gently against Ambrose's cheek looking into his eyes. "Can you have faith in me, in us to do what we have to do? We're going to make it out of this, but for now, just relax, just enjoy this and we can think about the rest later, okay?"

He looked into Ambrose' eyes and became the beacon of strength. He wanted to show strength to his boyfriend so that he could lean on him and put his trust in him.

Ambrose breathed deeply, trying to distract himself from the looming problems ahead of them. He felt calm against Caleb's side, and it was easy to slip into the illusion that they were leading a normal college life. "Yeah, I suppose it's more habit... I would like to be away from Morgan." Ambrose's mouth twisted into a sneer at the mention of his meddling roommate. Ambrose lost track of his thoughts as Caleb brushed his thumb against his cheek, intensely looking into his eyes. Ambrose knew those eyes well, seen them when they weren't so soft and inviting, but right now that didn't seem so important. He was just happy to be loved.

"I know. I trust you." Ambrose breathed, eyes fluttering. He leaned into Caleb's touch again, calmed by Caleb's resolution. In the back of his mind though, he saw all those times Caleb got hurt, sacrificing himself for the rest of the group. Ambrose fought of the sinking feeling that this was gonna turn out the same way. Ambrose slid his hand to Caleb's jaw, pulling him into a deep kiss.

"How much longer should we keep them waiting?" He said softly once he pulled away.

Their relationship was making progress. Caleb knew now that their relationship was making progress because not only were they more comfortable around each other, but Ambrose seemed to have let some of his guards down. He even mentioned that he trusted Caleb and that meant a lot to the hopeless romantic. Caleb had let some of his guards down as well and was working on changing for the better. He didn't want Ambrose to always have the image of him being a monster destroying and moving on. He wanted Ambrose to see the side of him that was gentle, that was caring and loving. He wanted Ambrose to feel protected, to know that Caleb would do all he could to make sure Ambrose had a wonderful time during his time at BlackBrick Academy. To do that, he had to fulfill one last obligation, and that was one of the hardest. He had to banish a demon. It wasn't every day one banished a demon with the seven holy blades. There were steps that needed to be taken, precautionary measures and a lot of other stuff. He imagined that was the reason Sam wanted to meet so they could actually figure out how to address the issue.

Caleb was in thought when Ambrose pulled him into a deep passionate kiss. He'd closed his eyes enjoying the closeness, the affection, the softness of Ambrose's lips against his own. The smell of Ambrose's hair, the soft cologne he wore. The kiss deepened, and Caleb's hand found its way to Ambrose's waist as he pulled him closer wanting the kiss to continue, but sadly Ambrose broke it and asked him a question. Caleb smiled and seductively crawled over to Ambrose on the couch.

"It depends on how long you're willing to let them wait," Caleb said as he slowly kissed Ambrose's neck, leaving a trail up to his partner's jawline before allowing his lips to press softly against Ambrose's.

It was so easy to forget what Caleb really was when all he could see was that soft, loving expression staring back at him. Even after all this time, he still felt that frightened instinct to recoil from the pure admiration from his partner. But now it was easier to hush, and to simply let himself feel a bit of simple happiness. Especially with what everything happening, Ambrose's reckless streak became more prominent then usual.

Ambrose breathed heavily once he pulled away, his mind straying from the subject to other things. Of course Ambrose knew it would be best to probably pick himself up and arrange to meet up with the group. But instead he let his gaze rest on the shape of Caleb's lips.

He leaned back in sync while Caleb crawled over, settling back into the couch. He gulped, appreciating Caleb's straight forwardness. In truth, Ambrose struggled to push down his insecurities, even with someone he knows would not be bothered by them. Ambrose, somewhat hesitantly, wrapped his arms around Caleb's neck, anchoring himself to him. He basked in the feeling of Caleb pressing kisses along his jaw, and then making a sound of approval once both their lips connected.

"Well," Ambrose said, pulling back briefly to breathe. "Personally, I could waste a lot of time with you." He paused, unsure, "Do you want to..?"

Ambrose had Caleb's undivided attention. He was lost in his eyes, in his scent, in his voice. He couldn't understand how he'd managed to live without someone like Ambrose. The feeling unnerved him slightly, but he relished the closeness. The softness of Ambrose's lips complimented his stunning handsome features. When Ambrose spoke, Caleb ran a finger along Ambrose's face and smiled. He was sure they could waste an entire day just sitting in his room talking and doing what lovers did, but in reality, he was nervous about going there with Ambrose. What if he wasn't adequate enough to fulfill Ambrose's desires?

Nodding, Caleb moved in closer to let the feelings flow freely. Just as things were getting heated between them, a knock came at his door. At first it was soft and Caleb ignored it wanting to enjoy this moment with Ambrose but then he heard her voice and he pulled away and sighed in defiance.

"Caleb Anderson I know you're awake. Why weren't you in class today!"

Caleb looked towards the door and groaned. Sam knew him far too well and it often came to bite him in the ass. "Give me a minute," Caleb said as he looked over at Ambrose. "I'm sorry," he said softly letting his hand find Ambrose's to hold softly. "Can I take you out later though to make up for it? Wherever you wanna go," he added as Sam knocked again.

"It's been a minute Caleb. Get dressed and tell Ambrose to get dressed as well. We've been waiting on you two for the longest, and don't you dare say he's not in there, we already know so pry yourselves apart and come on."

"Sam we might as well have the meeting here, no one ever comes to Caleb's dorm but Ambrose or the headmaster."

Sam sighed and nodded. "Let the others know."

Caleb placed a soft kiss on Ambrose's cheek and moved over to the door. He opened it and watched as Sam walked in. "Nice to see you too," Caleb said.

"Well since you didn't return my many text I was worried," she said her eyes landing on Ambrose and a smirk forming on her face. "Did I interrupt something?"

Ambrose felt a small wave of relief at Caleb's gentle enthusiasm, calming the butterflies in his stomach for the moment. It was easy to let everything melt away while they were together like this. However that was interrupted by a sharp knock on Caleb's door. Ambrose froze, taking a moment to register who was at the door until he recognized Sam's voice. He let out a frustrated whine as Caleb untangled their limbs, and Ambrose figured the moment was official ruined.

He squeezed Caleb's hand back in response, "Yeah, of course." He nodded, but privately thought to himself, if we even survive that long. His stomach sank at the thought of returning to reality. But there was no point in having a pity party right now. Ambrose rubbed his temples as Caleb and Sam conversed until he got up to let her in.

It wasn't until Sam strode in did he think of his appearance. Being sprawled out across the couch, with disheveled curls and a shirt half off. Ambrose's face went beet red at Sam's comment, his lips pinching together as he scrambled to get his clothes together. "N-no, of course not." He sputtered, sitting up straight and hopelessly attempting to get his hair a bit neater. He flashed a sarcastic grin to Sam, recognizing the humor of the situation, "Totally just chilling." Ambrose scooted over, making room for Sam to take a seat.

In the meantime, Ambrose sent out the text for everyone to meet up at Caleb's room. It didn't take too long for everyone to show up. Once everyone had found a comfortable spot to lounge, Ambrose figured it was time to get a move on. "So, guys." He started, getting the attention of the others. "We have all the knives. I think it's time to finally get rid of this..." Ambrose gulped, "Thing." His eyes scanned the room, seeing everyone else expressing a similar discomfort. "Any ideas for a plan? Are we going to be able to get the headmasters help?" He shot a glance in Caleb's direction.

"Actually you did, but you wouldn't be you if you didn't," Caleb said causing Sam to turn and raise an eyebrow. She noticed Ambrose scrambling to put get his clothes together, but in reality, she could care less what Ambrose and Caleb did behind closed doors. They were both consenting adults, but she just wanted to get things done and over with regarding the Leviathan. They'd had enough time to settle back into normalcy as best they could, but now it was time to go after the damned demon and put an end to it. Sam had already seen some weird stuff going on. It had caused her to worry, and she was sure the others had managed to see it as well.

Ambrose sent a text to everyone and she smiled deciding to sit on the edge of Caleb's bed rather than the space Ambrose had made for her. Caleb walked over to him and sat down next to him pulling him close to provide some sort of comfort to him. When everyone arrived, Caleb listened as Ambrose asked the question they'd all been wondering about.

"The headmaster is willing to help, I just need to go and speak with him."

"Caleb have you been taking it easy?" Alex asked looking at him and Ambrose.

"I have," Caleb said avoiding Alex's eyes.

"Right, is that why Ariana saw you in the gym the other day?"

"Okay fine I was training a little bit, just keeping my skills up, that's all. I didn't overdo it or anything," Caleb said glaring at Alex.

"Alex, leave him alone, Caleb knows not to overdo it, besides he wouldn't do anything to upset his boyfriend now would you Caleb?"

Caleb rolled his eyes at Sam and Alex and sighed. "Can we focus please?"

"I say we take the blades, find the damned thing and kill it."

"It can't be too far away, but we need some sort of plan that doesn't involve rushing in blindly," Ariana said.

"I agree, we need to figure out where the demon is, and how we are going to slip in without being noticed."

Caleb turned to Ambrose to check on him during the entire conversation before returning his gaze to the others.

"Wait- You were working out?" Ambrose questioned, distracted off topic by this information. A frown pulled at his lips as he stared down Caleb with a disaproving gaze. He may scolded him if Caleb didn't urge everyone to refocus on the task at hand. He did however spot a smug smirk coming from Jeremy, who seemed to find the two of them amusing, Ariana seemed to share that sentiment.

Ambrose cleared his throat, feeling a bit sheepish. "Right. Let's focus." He said, "I honestly don't think we can do this without the headmaster helping. The last time Caleb went up against this demon thing he landed in the ICU, barely survived." Ambrose tried to shake off pessimistic thoughts that it would be worse this time.

"If we need to find this thing... Why don't we just do what we did the first time?" Ariana chimed in, and all eyes turned to her in response. The atmosphere grew chilly at that thought, it brought up terrible memories for everyone of that party turned into a slaughter. Ambrose shuddered but he still nodded in agreement.

"This demon has a special interest in us... It watches us, it seems to want to torture us specifically." Ambrose's voice dropped as he went on. He shifted his attention Sam, "You're the one who led the ritual last time. Do you think could do it again?" Ambrose inquired.

Jeremy sighed, "It's at least worth a shot." He agreed reluctantly, "We could even do it here. Caleb's room is definitely big enough."

Ariana clutched the box that held the blades in it. When Ambrose gave the idea of summoning the leviathan she found it hard to swallow. What he was suggesting was dangerous and the fact that it was only them against this demon was crazy. Yes, they would need the headmaster's help. Caleb was deep in thought. After this was over what would become of them? Would they just fall back into their regular routine? Would they become the Academy Protectors? He sighed registering what Ambrose had said but not speaking on it. It would be dangerous simply because he didn't know how strong the demon had become. What other choice did they have at this point?

"Doing that here is dangerous Jeremy," Ariana said as she looked at him and sighed. She didn't know how things would go, but she would do her part to help.

"We can do it here, but the headmaster needs to be notified immediately," Sam said looking at Alex who sighed but nodded.

"I'll go tell him," Alex said taking his leave.

"In the meantime, Caleb are you okay with this?"

"I guess I have to be," Caleb said as he looked over at Ambrose. "Ambrose, can you draw the circle? Sam draw the barriers. Jeremy strengthens Sam's barriers, Ariana get the blades ready."

The mood in the room plummeted now the time has finally arrived to fight this thing. Ambrose briefly thought again if he could just abandon all of this. But instead he nodded and got to work on draw the summoning circle. It didn't take too long for everyone to get set up, everyone working silently as they put the pieces together. Sam and Jeremy strengthened the barriers twice over and then a third time for good measure. It was the very best they could do. Ariana set the knives out in position around the circle, one knife for every member of the group. Ambrose took his place by a knife with a silver handle, the blade looked to be of obsidian substance. Alex stood at the next knife, while checking to make Ambrose's circle had all the required components.

After everything could be done to prepare, they gathered around the circle. "Okay." Ambrose sighed, "Does the headmaster know the plan? If so, I think we can get started." Ambrose said, looking around the room.

"Alright, everyone take your position," Sam said as she looked at Caleb and then the others. Caleb moved over to the circle. He noticed Alex inspecting it to make sure Ambrose didn't miss anything, but Caleb knew Ambrose wouldn't mess up if this was their chance to get rid of the Leviathan and banish it back to hell. He looked at the sapphire blade that was positioned in front of him. Each blade was different, and each carried an odd aura around it. It was alluring to his senses making it was hard to concentrate, but he pushed the feelings to the back of his mind.

The headmaster would do what he could for them, but for now, they were on their own. They had to do it before it was too late. Caleb breathed and Ariana sighed.

"Caleb," Sam said looking at him noticing how edgy he seemed. "Caleb focus," she added as he nodded and looked over at Ambrose. "Ambrose will be fine Caleb, focus."

Caleb sighed and nodded again before exhaling and closing his eyes.

"Phasmatos motus incendiarios!" he began his eyes still closed as an odd wind blew in the room.

"Phasmatos incendia movet, phasmatos incendia moventur, ego ex vos, vos ex unos, phasmatos incendia entrare! Phasmatos incendia movet, phasmatos incendia moveo!"

Caleb's voice echoed in the room as each of them offered their energy to the incantation. The spell circle came to life. Wind blew harshly in the room. Light fixtures started to explode showering the room with sparks. Caleb continued the spell until a presence appeared before them. The Leviathan stood in the middle of the circle, a smile on his face as he looked around the room at those who had summoned him.

"VILE WEAK CREATURES!" he commented as Caleb's eyes opened and he looked up at the creature. All his memories of the first encounter with it flooded his mind. "CALEB!"

The voice sent a chill down his spine. He seemed frozen.
