Lin backed away from the boy to remain out of reach. "The mask will stay on. You two are safe. I will leave the kit for you in case of any more need of it. It still has two more adrenaline shots, so it should serve your purposes. If you will excuse me, I have a scientist to catch. I will find out what the Federation was up to. I hate the idea of being a mercenary for someone doing inhumane actions." She stood up and drew her handgun, holding it at the ready. She sprinted out the door, tracking the sounds of the injured scientist. Seeing as she left the view of the children, she practically ripped off the mask, leaving it on the floor rather unceremoniously.

He was easy to find. His panic made him slow and clumsy. He was practically hysterical from his fear. Lin quietly came up behind him and knocked him out with a sleeper hold. "Sleep. You will need the rest for what I may have to do to you." She dragged his unconscious form to her suit, ducking inside only long enough to get some cuffs for his feet and wrists. She bound him, dragged him to her cockpit, attached him securely, them blindfolded him and put a dark bag over his head to obscure his vision even more.

She set up in her pilot seat, activating Einsamkeit. Flying out of the area, she hailed Excalibur. "Mercenary Einsamkeit, requesting docking and detainment of a prisoner for interrogation. Please copy, Excalibur." She left the colony and stopped at a small cache she hid on the outside of the colony, grabbing her usual weapons from it before heading off towards the Excalibur.

@Lotrix Molick After Einsamkeit had docked with Excalibur and her prisoner was detained, Lin found herself being called to the briefing room by Doctor Cassidy. As Lin entered, she would see the older woman puffing on a cigarette. "Take a seat..." She ordered. There was nobody else in a room. "My name is Elizabeth Cassidy, It has been brought to my attention that you captured a member of Black Division... I have his recounting of the story, but i need to hear the answer from you... Did you assist Crimson Hold in gaining access to a Black Division facility and aid in the escape of dangerous test subjects?" She asked. She took a long drag on the cigarette as she stared into the girls eyes, not blinking. "I need to know EVERYTHING that you saw."

Aster eyed the boy for a moment even noting the call from the merc and Dr. Cassidy leaving as he just eyed the boy. This is the kid who piloted the Zeta hmm he thought to himself as he looked the kid over. the Normal suit seemed to be a perfect image on him like he was meant to be a pilot all along.
"Congrats kid, you've just been conscripted into the Federation military as a Pilot. In exacly 4 hours I want you in the hangar and in that Gundam ready to run simulations. Ensign Strobel make sure the engineers know to rig up the simulations for the kid. start him off with the basics of zero gravity movement then move him into combat training let him go as far as he can in 3 hours." he said as he looked away our the windows of the bridge thinking to himself. "As for the evacuation. Clear this hangar and get us into space ASAP, we can't afford to waste anymore time. I don't trust that Crimson Hold."

@Keyblade87 Greg's face went from that of pride to one of confusion and mild horror. "Ummm, wait, conscripted into the Federation military? Look, i am all for stopping Fukushu Zeon, but i can't join the Military." He laughed, a laugh that seemed more to mask his horror than actually finding humour in the situation. "I mean..." He quickly ran through the reasons in his head. Too young? Amuro Ray was my age. A Coward? They'll never believe it. A Zeon Supporter? They'll throw me in the Brig. Go on, tell them the real reason, asshole. "My Parents will be pissed! I can fight, but i can't be a member of the Military..." He said. Coward... his brain replied.

Lin did not take a seat. She wasn't in the mood to deal with someone who thought they had inarguable authority over her. One look at the scowl on her face and the piercing glare was enough for anyone, even the most emotively blind person, to realize she was unhappy at the very least. "Hold could access the facility with authorized credentials, so no. He could have waltzed in any time desired. I did save the lives of two Newtypes that the Black Division was attempting to kill as part of an obvious cover-up. I did not help them escape. Instead, I saw the scientist running with documents and took him into custody." She stepped closer to Cassidy. If she were a Newtype, no doubt she would practically feel the waves of anger emitting from Lin.

"I assume you are going to tell me to forget what I saw and that you cannot talk about what was in there. That is, frankly, not an option. If you knew what happened there, you belong in a cell as well as all the employees there. Attempted murder and dangerous, tortuous experiments on forced test subjects is bad enough. Let's not forget the obvious isolation they felt given their reactions to actual physical contact and verbal interaction. So, it is my turn. What do you know of that site and its experiments?" She kept her body ready for a confrontation, one hand ready to draw her handgun should Cassidy try a hostile move.

@Lotrix Molick Cassidy sat listening to the woman as she went on about the inhumanity that was on full display at the facility. She saw the woman pawing at her gun. She grunted before unholstering her own pistol and sliding it across the table towards Lin "Why the hell can nobody have a conversation unless one of them has a gun in their hands?" She sighed before taking another puff of her cigarette. The rancid fumes now permeating the room and making visible some of the beams of light from the fixtures. "Tell whoever the hell you like about what happened there. Nobody will believe you and whoever does will either not care or lack any real power to stop them." She then took another long drag before stubbing the rest of the cigarette out. "Which is why i'm going to tell you that it was me who allowed Crimson access to the facility. I won't give you the gory details, partially because i don't want to, but mainly because I know that Crimson has a flair for the dramatic, if he took you there then you will no doubt meet again and he'll want to tell you himself. God know's he deserves that much. But let's just say that it wasn't the first time that he was there." She then got up and stretched her back.

"Black division is the Federations special research bureau. Gundams, Cyber-Newtypes, Mobile Armours, Psycommu, all products by Black Division. I assume you are familiar with the Murasame Institute and their development of Cyber-Newtypes, as well as the early prototype Cyber-Newtypes and their notorious mental instability? Eventually we learned to turn regular people into stable newtypes. Not as powerful as natural-born Newtypes, but still far superior to the typical Earthnoid. Those children you met were natural-born Newtypes that Black Division have been trying to push the abilities of beyond known limits. To make another Amuro Ray, Kamille Bidan, Banagher Links... They were prototypes. Black Division was going to have them terminated after their experiments concluded. I wasn't prepared to let that happen. I realize that i have probably only traded a peaceful euthanasia for a fiery inferno in a Mobile Suit cockpit." She groaned. "But my hope is that Crimson has at least enough compassion to allow them some level of autonomy." She then sat down again. Is it crueler to give them a taste of normality only to take it away? she thought. "Did he ask about me?" she asked.

Lin visibly relaxed when Cassidy disarmed. As a gesture of respect, she also placed her handgun beside the other woman's. "Trust me, I dislike having a conversation with my hand practically on my gun. But, given how trigger happy many military people are, I'd rather be ready than shot." She let out a small, almost relieved sigh as Cassidy basically let her know that she was working against the Black Division, at least somewhat. "Fine, I retract saying you would deserve a cell too. Unfortunately, for all their great tech advancements, stooping to forced experimentation with euthanasia as the end result is both damaging and rather unproductive. Yes, strong Newtypes are useful, but they are still generally extremely empathetic. They need socialization and contact. Forcing them to become so strong as to harm anyone in proximity just to try and create more legends artificially is not effective. Amuro was not a great Newtype because of his power level. He was a strong one, yes, but so was Char. Both are legends for their minds. They were committed to their causes. Both wished to help and protect their own. That commitment gave them far more strength than just their powers."

She started to pace back and forth in front of the table, seeming to think. "You gave him access, but he had been there before. That means he was either a worker or an experiment. I shudder to think what propaganda he will create from the knowledge he gleans there. Spacenoids wanting to be treated better is one thing, an admirable thing really, but creating zealots will lead to countless more conflicts and practically a sea of bloodshed. I may be a mercenary, but I am none too fond of violence. I prefer to watch and track than to fight something that could have been prevented. Too bad the Federation seems intent upon another war." She stopped and looked directly at the other woman. "So, since you had plan for that, I can only assume you have more. The real question here is whether you are part of Hold's crew or an independent like me."
