Sekai Hero Academy, one of the first hero academies to emerge out of Japan once quirks became a natural phenomenon. Since the entrance of U.A's golden age of popularity after producing top notch heroes such as All Might and Endeavor, Sekai Hero Academy has slowly dropped in the ranks to the #7 spot. Despite not being as popular as a school such as U.A, Sekai still stays relevent in the topic of best hero schools with its production of heroes instilled with traditional values of what it truly means to be a hero at its deepest roots.

Damian Miyamoto

RIIING!!! RIIING!!! RIING!!!, BAM!!!!

A hand came slamming down visciously silencing the electrical time keeping device, with the amount of time he has done that throughout the year you would think his alarm clock would have broken by now. The boy rose from his bed, eyes still closed as he looked forward at what was his dresser before letting out an lenghty yawn. One after another he opened his eyes, starting with the left before rising out of bed reaching into his red Pajama shirt and scratching the back of his shoulders.

Today was the day, the entrance exam for Sekai academy in which he had been anticipating for many years to come. Oddly enough the blonde was not nervous at all for this day as he had been preparing for the past 3 years. I guess that is what happens when you approach a task with a chip on your shoulder.

Damian made his way towards his dresser and picked up a frame picture of him and his older brother that was sitting on top of the piece of furniture. At first his face was a little distressed as he stared at the photo but it soon turned into a bright and wide grin. The boy had already packed for the exam the previous night before, snacks, water, exam papers, as well as a change of clothes. He wanted to be well prepared for this exam, when it comes to Sekai Academy the exam is never the same everytime, from year to year it changes signficantly in criteria as well as location. This year it would be taking place in Shinto Village on the country side.

Shortly after falling into deep thought, Damian washed up in the bathroom as well as ate breakfast before grabbing his bag and keychain before heading out the front door. The time was about 6:45, he had about 20 minutes to kill so why not pay him a visit? It was still a bit dark outside as he walked through the dimmly lit streets though it didn't bother him much, he has made this trek so countless times in the past 3 years at all hours of the day. As he walked he came across an iron fence with a small section of it cut open, big enough for the boy to fit inside. Damian slipped right through without hitch, a smile slowly becoming plastered across his face, for once he was in a good mood for his visit and at last he arrived at his destination.

A favored hero forever in our hearts, Tyson Miyamoto, 'Pharoah'

Damian took a seat infront of the gravestone with his legs curled up, "Today is the day that I take over where you left off, I think its funny because most of the people I went to intermediate school with asked me why attend Sekai? Why not go to somwhere like U.A or even Komei Academy but it was much deeper than that. The teachings that you instilled in me, the way you you were apart of this community, was something like a role model...an inspiration to us all...

The boy grew quiet as he sat in front of the grave, it felt as though he was in his own bubble as the early morning mist created a shrowd around him making everything but the grave clouded.

”I want to learn from the same school that you attended and walk in your footsteps.”

Damian got back up onto his feet as he prepares to say his goodbyes but was soon interupted by a familiar voice.

”Damian? Are you around here?” a bright phone flashlight could be seen dancing around in the fog, as the voice came closer , the flash got brighter.

”Yeah I am right here Biron”

Soon enough the flash became unbearably bright as it was shone right in Damian’s face before it was turned off.

”I figured you’d be here, we should start heading to the train station. The earlier we get to Shinto the better.”

Damian let out smile in agreement, it was time to go accomplish his goals. He was thankful to have Biron by his side while doing so, at first it was unsure whether or not Biron would even attend a hero academy. As dependable as he is, his major lack of confidence holds himself back from his true potential.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The train station looked like something out of a movie, the dim lighting mixed in with the morning fog gave place such a mysterious vibe. It seemed as though Biron wasn’t having it just by the look on his face.

Soon enough the train to Shinto village had pulled. The two boys boarded the train taking a seat near one of the exits.

”I’m going to take a short nap, wake me up when we reach our stop.” and just like that Damian was off to sleep.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The boy could feel a slight nudge, ”Damian wake up, we’re here.” Damian woke up, a bit discombobulated, as he looked outside the window of the train all he could see were lush green hills. A smile soon appeared on his face as he took in the change in environment.

”Shinto village”

After disembarking from the train, a dirt trail played the role of their guide as they made their way to their destination. Damian had decided to check his phone for time, it was about 7:38, as he looked up in the top left corner of his phone he could see he only had one bar of cellular connection.

”Stick close by Biron, the reception here isn’t too good. It’s best we don’t get lost.” Once the two made it into the village it was easy to tell apart the examinees from the village inhabitants. The examinees all were young with fresh clothes while the villagers were equipped with worn clothes.

”Lets ask for directions Damian, I don’t want to get lost”

Damian looked at Biron and shook his head,”Nonsense! All we have to do is follow the other students, we’ll be fine!”

Damian began to scout around for someone who seemed as though they knew exactly what they were doing. Soon enough his eyes lit up and Damian took off in a fast speed walk right behind them with Biron following anxiously.

What could possibly go wrong?

It was earlier in the morning and the sun just succesfully managed to pass the horizong, coating the city-landscape in the beautiful morning-athmosphere that this region was known for and the mechanical blinds in the room of a particular boy were slowly opening up to let in the fresh sunrays of the morning into the room. As the room lit up, the pure-white, almost sterile looking walls began to become visible, just like the almost enormously large television that was hanging on the wall to the right of the windows, right above a white cupboard with all kinds of different technological devices, like a blu-ray disc player, various game-consoles and a music station which was connected to two large speakers which were each located next to the flat-screen that was positioned in the center.
On the opposite side of the room, positioned in the center, roughly at the same height as the telivision was the bed which Jason Akizuki was sleeping in. The sheets' design consisted of a white background and one large blue eye in the middle of the blanket, while the pillow was entirely blue with a design that could best be described as "Digital" or "Futuristic".

As the blinds were opened, beams of sunlight began to hit the face of the guy that was sleeping beneath the blankets. The blinds were actually controlled by his digital alarm clock sitting on the nightstand next to his bed. It was a selfmade device which did not wake him up with noises, but rather by opening the blinds and let the light do its thing. Luckily for Jason that plan had always worked out for him so far.
He slowly opened up his eyes and immediately turned his head to the right, since he was laying on his bed and his windows were left of him, to escape the light that was shining directly onto his eyes. After recovering for a few moments, Jason opened up his deep-blue eyes, which were a strong contrast to his almost silver-white hair and looked at the screen of his digital clock, displaying the current time in light-blue numbers. It took his sleepy brain a few moments to process what he just had seen and he closed his eyes again. Eventually though, they shot open quickly and he even set up, throwing the blankets off of his upper body. "The entrance exam!" He shouted out into the room.

Izumo Hatsue

Roughly at the same time as that was happening, in a vastly different part of the town, a gorgous melody began playing, accompanied by a voice similar to that of an angel. At least, that is the way the wikipedia page described her, obviously having been edited by some kind of fan who was overly into her. The person in question, obviously, was none other than the famous online songstress and idol, Izumo Hatsue. With her youtube channel having over three million subscribers, one could argue that she indeed reached a wide audience. But now she was ready for the big stage she thought; Izumo was ready to become a hero.
Where was the singing coming from? It was Izu's daily vocal training while taking a shower in the morning. Everyone sings in the shower, even an idol like her was no exception. "...And she's got something IIIII dooon't... to you~~~"

The bathroom where she was taking a shower in right now was actually connected to the room she slept in. If someone was to rock such a complicated hairstyle like Izu's, having your own bathroom was kind of a necessity. Sometimes it took her an hour just to get her outfit right!
Her own room reflected her interests rather well and made it quite obvious just how much she was into music. There was a large mixer in the middle of the room connected to two E-Pianos and a multi-screen computer setup which she used to compose and work on her songs. Though there were no other instruments actually present in the room, but there was a massive stack of paper in one corner of the room, curiously enough.
So much of her space was dedicated to her music that her bed was rather small and just mindlessly placed in a corner of the room. Its only purpose was to be a resting place for Izumo, so it did not need to have more space dedicated to it.
The only other special feature about her room was a massive walk-in closet which contained all the different outfits that she either wore daily or needed for music-videos.

It would only be a few minutes more until she was done showering...

Only 15 minutes the boy woke up, he was already downstairs and eating his breakfast. He was wearing a grey hoodie-jacket with the symbol of a drawn white eye in the middle, with the text "Placebo" beneath. It was his favorite piece of clothing and surely on an important day such as this he'd be wearing to feel as comfortable as possible.
While the boy was shoving his cereal into his mouth, spoon after spoon, and occasionally taking a bite out of his french toast, he was using his phone to text a friend of his. Will be at the train station in 15. Afterwards he would finish his breakfast while watching the early morning news on the livingroom telivision.

A few minutes later, when he was done eating breakfast, he started to pack his rucksack for the day. While he packed some common stuff like a bottle of water, some food and some sheets to take notes on, there were some rather unusual things too, like four different digital clocks, two wristwatches and two different tablets, among other things. It was easy to see that he had a special passion for technology and the likes.
Once he was done with all the things he needed for the day, he grabbed his purse, phone and headphones and then made true on his promise and left the house to head towards the trainstation.

Still being in the bathroom, the girl was just finishing up styling her hair while looking into the mirror. As she was doing so, she decided to give herself a quick pep-talk.
"Alright Izu... you got this. You've faced bigger challenges than this, this is nothing compared to the la-" Suddenly, her phone played the all too familiar tune that it would play when she received a message. This time however, it was so sudden that it actually stratled Izu. Because she was so surprised, she actually dropped the Scrunchy which she was using. "A-Ahh!"
The small shriek-ish scream was quickly stopped by herself placing a hand on her mouth. Even though noone saw this, her cheeks were blushing slightly. "Pull yourself together Izu... come on."
The girl checked her phone to see the message "Will be at the train station in 15." to which she replied Okay!~:3
Afterwards, the idol finished up her hairstyle with the last remaining scrunchy.

Even while eating breakfast, which her mother had so lovingly prepared for her, Izu's hands were shaky and, sadly for her, there was noone in the house to calm her down as her mother had just left for work herself. She was really looking forward to meet her friend at this point, she was sure that he'd calm her down like he had done so many times before. Luckily for Izu however, she was practically living next to the train-station which allowed her to leave her house only shortly before the train would arrive.

After her rushed breakfast, Izu quickly grabbed her bag and left the house, locking up behind her. Since she was so nervous about the whole thing, she had already prepared everything the day before like a proper student always should!... according to her mother.

On the outside, her outfit was quite cute. A brown coat on the outside which covered up the white buttoned-up shirt beneath and a striped Blue-green-ish bowtie on her kneck together with a silver pair of headphones. Red ribbons decorated her hair and helped the scrunchies to hold the two pigtails in place. Below her waist she wore kneesocks which went up to her thighs and shoes to match the outfit. The striped skirt that was around her waist obviously had matching colors aswell!
The beg which she was carrying over her right shoulder while walking towards the trainstation had two chibi plush versions of two of her co-idols on her youtube channel and live appearances, they looked quite cute as was expected from an idol like her.
The contents of the bag itself were mostly standard. A bottle of water, a thermos flask filled with green homebrew tea, a lunchbox which was lovingly crafted by her mother. The only somewhat exceptional thing were the rather large amount of white, empty sheets of paper accompanied by a set of ten pens.

In any case, she would arrive at the trainstation soon.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

At the Trainstation

Finally, both would arrive at the train station at the same time. Jason from the nothern entrance and Izu from the southern one.
As they walked up to one another, Jason having his hands in the front pockets of his jacket-hoodie and Izu wlaking while staring at her phone, they eventually noticed one another.
The cheerful idol flashed him a bright smile and walked up to him to give him a hug. Naturally, jason accepted it. "Are you ready?" she asked curiously after they had finished their hug as their train rolled into the station next to them and the wind that it caused made both of their hair move.
"As ready as I can be. You?" he replied.
Izumo nervously scratched the back of her head with an awkward smile and closed eyes. "You know me, I am never really ready."
And with a laugh, both boarded the train.

The train itself was relatively void of other passengers so they were able to grab some comfy seats right as they walked in. Not many people seemed to be wanting to get to the same destination, it was quite far off after all, especially from the view of a city-inhabitant.
Even though the drive itself was rather long, both were able to pass the time quickly by conversing, chatting and calming each other down ahead of such an important deal like the entrance exam. After all, laughter is the best cure for nervousness.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Eventually, the train arrived. The female voice announced it through the speakers so it was hard to miss.
"Next stop, Shinto Village. Please exit the train on the right side and make sure to not leave any obje-..." That was when both of them stopped listening. After all, they already knew everything they needed to know.
It soon came to a halt and the teenagers left the train in anticipation.
"Here goes nothing." Jason noted while walking next to Izu along the bewildered dirt-path that lead to their destination and the ground for the entrance exam.
"Mhm." Izu replied quietly with a nod.
Jason would check his phone, as he so regularly does, only to notice that there was barely any signal there, if any at all. Izu saw it too, looking down on his phone and quietly acknowledging it. As the tension grew for both of them, their conversions decreased in numbers as they left themselves to their thoughts in order to mentally prepare for what was ahead. This was reflected in their facial expression, as even the normally so cheerful and friendly smiling idol now had a neutral, concentrated expression on her face.

It was a few minutes later when they entered the village that one of them broke the silence. Izumo had enough of being silent and, after both of them were able to take the surrounding area in, decided to speak up.
"This village is pretty and all... but where to next? Everything here looks broken and run down..."
"Let me check my notes again."
So now both were standing basically in the middle of the street as Jason grabbed the backpack from his back, placed it in front of him to take out the sheet that was given to them with all the information they needed and began to read it to gain more information on where to go. Meanwhile Izu was looking left and right nervously.
"Are you sure we are right? This place is eerie."

Damian Miyamoto Biron Nishamura

”Damian we’ve been following these guys for quite some time, I think they might be more clueless than we are, besides we should try some other methods of finding our way around.”

Damian took his attention off the trio of teenage boys they had been tailing to address his whiny friend, the boy let out a sigh out of fustration as he was also fed up with following these guys as well.

”Alright lets ask around for directions, if that doesn’t work then we might have to use our quirks.” the boy said as he turned back around to find that their ‘tour guides’ vanished without of trace, leaving both Biron and Damian in the shopping district without a trace.

”Well that plan was a total bust.” the boy said slumping his body forward, feeling defeated. It may have not exactly been the best plan but at least it was a start. He had never planned that he’d actually have to work towards the starting line.

”Lets go Dame, we can ask the clerk in this store for directions .” the chubby boy said.

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

When the two entered the shop, immediately they looked at each other. Just by looking at their merchandise sold there they already knew this wasn’t just any store found in your local town. The whole shop was riddled with wooden carvings of creepy statues And as you walked it was almost as if their eyes followed your movements. Even the lighting in the building added onto the unholy theme of the establishment as the lights flickered. Immediately, Biron was already spooked. So much so that he stood extremely close to Damian to the point where his breath could be felt on the boys neck.

”Hey! Hey! Back up dude.” the boy said giving Biron a light shove causing him to trip over a statue.

WAMMM

Damian turned to Biron with an annoyed expression, as much as he loved Biron the guy was such a baby. ”How do you expect to be a hero if you’re scared of a dusty old shop.”

”Who’s shop are you calling dusty?

Immediately, Damian felt a paralyzing chill go down his spine. It sounded had came from all directions, making it difficult for the two boys to pin point it’s origins. Damian turned his body around to find a culprit but as soon as he took his eyes of Biron he heard a high pitched shriek.

”GAHHH”

the blonde quickly whipped his head around to see his friend gone without a trace. Damian began to feel a cold sweat, the boy attempted to tightened his fists as an a way to cope with his fear.

”You two don’t seem very fit to be hero’s just by the look of you.”

The voice was near, so close he could feel the hairs on his neck begin to stand up. Immediately the boy turned his head to find an aged woman hanging upside down from the a cobweb attached to the ceiling. The look on Damian’s face said it all.

”Holy shit.”

So many strange smells the boy said as he couldn't help but clench his nose, Marius had been used to the city life as well as the man smells which accompanied it. BUT THIS...this was a new animal, the smell of dirt and grass being so pure was something completely new to him. Mostly because he wasn't used to the naturally lush and rich environment.

[Quirk - Lycanthropy ]

( Marius has enchanced physical abilities such as enchanced smell, strength, and agility, a long with instincts (some that he isn't proud of) similar to that of a wolf. He is even capable of taking on a werewolf transformation further boosting his physical abilities but at the cost of making him becoming more brutish. )

The boy had been wandering through the village at a rather slow pace as he decided to take the time to discover the area a bit as he was still here. That was until he smelled something that really caught his attention, it was coming in the direction of a girl with blue pig tails as well as a blonde boy. -sniff- -sniff-,She-no whatever was in her bag smelled good, really good...was that turkey? Marius had started to cut through the crowd and make his way towards the girl, the closer he got the more his animal instincts took over.

Why have I suddenly began crouching the way a predator stalks its prey

Marius had dipped his body down slightly and made his ears droop down to cover his presence more, soon enough he had reached the point where he was a couple feet in front of this stranger and he dared not take an inch further once he finally came to his senses. The boy has a common tendecny where he sometimes succumb to his instincts causing him to act out.

What the hell were you thinking? You didn't even know what you would've done once you got got close! You know you wouldn't dare talk to a girl in a million years.

The boy had now frozen in place, crouching position and all as he fell deep into thought. He couldn't do anything but stare as he layed his eyes upon the girl, she was pretty attractive.

Make that 10 million years.

Marius had now been staring for a couple minutes, still crouched, and house now even began to garner some attention. So much so that the boy next to her may have even noticed that Marius had been sitting there for some time.

"This seems to be the right place."

Jason took another look around their position, letting his eyes stroll over the many partially broken down buildings which almost made this place look like a massive set of ruins. If this location wasn't specified in the informative sheets they've received, Jason would've never even thought about going there, Izu surely thought the same thing. However, despite the eerie athmosphere surrounding them there were also occasionally other people who were roughly about the same age as Izu and Jason, implying that they were indeed right.

"Well..."

Izumu took out her phone to check the time. The case of the phone was a blue case with a white clef on the back and added cat-ears on top of the case. her eyes gazed upon the screen as it lit up, only to let it disappear in her bag again a short moment later.

"We still have a little while until everything starts so I figure we should just wait?"

Jason answered that question with a nod of his own. Both were less talkative than they usually were when being with one another. After all, They've known each other for over ten years at that point. Their friendship even helped benefit them as Izu was able to use Jason's knowledge in technology, since he just was that tech-savvy, in the early days when she tried to become an idol. He was the one who showed her how to do her sound, showed her what equipment to buy and was always by her side when she was doing important steps in her career. However, as it was usual for childhood friends, there was never any romantic interest in one another. They just were really good friends!
The silver-haired boy crossed his arms in front of his chest.

"I don't like that we don't know what kind of challenge awaits us."
Jason said to break the weird silence.
"Yeah, they never tell that beforehand. We are supposed to be prepared for the unprepared or something, as it is common for heroes."

Even Izumo would have much rather prepared more beforehand, but the lack of knowledge proved to be a problem for every student who wanted to attend the hero school, and everyone would have to overcome that obstacle.

While both of them continued to converse, talking about the exercise and everything else surrounding the situation (The city, the other people, their expectations regarding their time at the school and more) someone decided to creep up on the group of two (hopefully) soon-to-be students. A canine boy had crouched and frozen in place beneath both of them, not letting his eyes off of Izumo. While they were talking they barely paid any notice to him, it was only after a few minutes that Jason would finally notice the odd behavior.
Since the canine boy was crouching behind Izu's back, the silver-haired boy had to lean to the side in order to acknowledge him directly. Jason stared at him for a few seconds before awkwardly talking to Izu again.

"Izu... it seems that we have a ... code CF here."

The code CF was one of the many codephrases they thought of in case anything related to her idol career happened. Naturally, given the way the canine was staring at Izu, Jason assumed he was some kind of socially awkward fan who didn't dare to talk to her. Hence the code "CF" (=Crazy fan).

"Oh?"

The idol girl turned around aswell to face the new person whom both of which had not seen before.
She was used to dealing with strange fans, naturally an idol like her couldn't just react negatively to any awkward or weird approaches, that would quickly result in backlash all over the web! Even weird fans like this guy would have to be treated well by Izu, as tough as it was. Therefore, Izu gave him a wide and cheerful smile, one that was so typical during her on-screen and on-stage appearances.

"Can I help you?"
She asked cheerfully. Obviously they couldn't have known that he was after her sandwich, it was reasonable to assume that he was a fan since the've dealt with similar situations before. Jason did not smile as cheerfully as Izu did, he kept his arms crossed in front of his body and gave the new boy a sceptic look.

Shutupshutup SHUT UP!, the pups ears twitched as he overheard the boy revealing his wearabouts to the girl next to him. The boys heart began picking up in speed as he prayed to the heavens that the girl didn't turn towards his direction. DONT TURN AROUND DONT TURN AROUND! Alas his psychic powers had failed him as the girly turned to him, flashing her pearly whites and giving the pup a warm smile. Immediately, Marius's cheeks flushed red and his began thumping so hard that he thought it was going to jump out of his chest. The boys ears flopped even further now and the amount of anxiety he was feeling was clear in his eyes. You just had to go for the turkey sandwhich huh?, Marius eyes darted back and forth between the pretty girl and the boy who was with her...who was giving off a somewhat wary vibe. Why is he giving him such a strange glare, WAS HE STARING AT HIS GIRL FOR TOO LONG?! As these thoughts raced through the boys mind, he hadn't realize the awkward amount of time that had passed by with him not saying a word to this girl. On top of that a crowd was beginning to form around the 'circus act', even so much as hearing nearly all of the comments being said about him. It's sad to say it was something he was used to as he grew up.

"Is that boy okay?

"He seems pretty frightened"

["Its pretty rude of him not to reply to a pretty lady"

"Wait...is that? Izumo Hatsue?!"

Soon the crowd erupted into shouts and cheers as they noticed the appearance of the idol, so much so that they began to crowd around her, in the process picking up Marius unwillingly. NONONONO! Soon enough he was pretty much sandwhiched in the crowd, how much more can things not go his way. All of this over a stupid sandwhich! It was hard to pick apart what the kids were saying as it seemed to come out as a bunch of nonsense with everyone trying to attract Izumo's attention. While most of the kids wanted an autograph or picture of some sort, there were a few who had even offered their assistance in locating the starting line for the Sekai Academy entrance exam.

Arachne Damian Miyamoto
Biron Nishamura

"Your Arachne!, the spider hero...well X-hero" the boy shouted in excitement as she hung in the air suspended, inches away from pouncing on the boy. The spider lady's frown turned into a small hmph as she somersaulted onto the ground. Arachne was a rather aged hero, similar to that of Gran torino though she didn't succumb to the shrinking. "I'm surprised a child like you would even know who I am.. Damian had a wide grin on his face as he began to fanboy a bit, "of course I do, you were a hero that my...m-my late...brother looked up too. You were strong, crafty, but at the same time gentle and aware of your environements extremely well." "Indeed, unliked that over the top, destructive man that every seems to idolize, All might." Arachne walked passed Damian and picked up the statue that was Biron had knocked over. "Might I ask you who your brother- Pharaoh, his name was Tyson Miyamoto though..." there was a hint of sadness in his voice that Arachne had sensed, the old ladies widened a bit in rememberance at the sound of that name. "I remember that fool, an overly joyous fool...with a righteous heart, I remember the day in which I seen he had passed. It is indeed sad to someone with such passion and youth to go before me, a washed up hero, and old hag."

"Yeah..."

The room had became awkardly silent, the sounds of muffled noises and movement could be heard coming from the ceiling though it was difficult to pin poin at first for Damian as he looked anxiously from side to side trying to discern where the sounds were coming from. "Um, miss Arachne...could you please release my friend? If it isn't too much of a hassle." the lady pulled on a peace of silk that was completely undectable by the two kids which released Biron from the ceiling. "WAAHHH!"

I gotcha buddy! Quickly, Damian raised his hands up and outcame from each of the sleeves on his hoodie came 2 cloth like appendages, 4 in total. The appendages stretched out and wrapped around Biron stopping him from crashing down into the floorboard of the store. As each of the strands of cloth held Biron in the air by each of his limbs, each of the pieces swayed gently from side to side.

[Quirk - Mummify]

(Damian can summon 10 cloth like appendages from his back each being equally as strong as steel. Each of his appendages are prehensile and capable of picking up items as well as people too. The cloth like appendages on his back can reach a maximum length of 20 ft as well and can be used for an assortment of tasks as well.)

"Why didn't you release him safely?"
the boy asked as he safely placed his friend on the floor, Arachne simply picked up the statue that was on the floor and turned to the boy what may have seemed like something rude was really her just testing the boy. "Why didn't I release him safely? Well...you didn't ask me to." she said with a straight face. "Was that supposed to be a joke?" Damian was beginning to get a little fired up. "Relax boy, I was only giving you a simple test. His reaction speed was alright, for a novice, he also manage to save his friend without hesitation interesting.

"There is only one reason why you two would be in this village, you are looking for the entrance exam for Sekai academy. Its obviouis with your brother being an alumni of the school. If you wish to find the exam starting line then you have to travel far in the opposite direction of this store." Damian turned to Biron with a grin, "See I told you we should've asked for directi- "DON'T EVEN START DAMIAN!". Arachne had began to get more annoyed by the two kids, the twitching of her eyebrow was a dead giveaway.

"GET OUT BEFORE I CHANGE MY MIND AND MAKE YOU SWEEP MY STORE!"

Izumo Hatsue

While Izumo had to keep up her cheerful persona when facing the public, since she had to keep up the role and impression of an idol wherever she went, Jason did not have such a burden. He was able to stay wary of the situation and had no need to show a certain face to the public at all, since his face was barely known after all. He was seen with Izumo here and there naturally, but he had no cult following like Izumo did. But even he knew what kind of weird and, occasionally, dangerous people existed in this world that other famous people had to deal with before, which usally did not end too well, so he knew that it was better to be save than sorry and kept up his intimidating expression. Luckily for the both of them and unluckily for the anxiety-riddled canine boy, it seemed to be working. A bit too well in fact since he was not even able to get a single word out when they were facing him.
Izumo on the other hand waited patiently for the guy to answer, or rather, do anything at all. Keeping up her warm smile she'd make sure to keep eye-contact, not knowing just how much worse that made it for poor Marius. Though even for her this situation slowly became quite awkward and the people around them who were noticing it were really not helping either. What made it worse was that the crowd around them was full of teenagers, people who were naturally Izumo's main audience so she was just praying that none of them followed the kind of scene she caters to. "This is drawing too much attention!" she thought to herself. Even Jason realized the amount of people that were gathering, luckily it were only roughly about 8-10 people.

Eventually, the worst case scenario occured.

Someone screamed out the name of Izumo. "Are you alri-" she said just a moment before she was interrupted by the shouting. Immediately the same roughly 8-10 people gathered around her and Jason quickly and simply pushed the unknown canine boy away from them in a cruel fashion. Obsessed fans were the worst. Jason instantly positioned himself in front of Izumo to block off anyone who tried to get too close to her with a stern expression whereas the idol herself raised her arms up and tried to calm everyone down.
"E-Everyone please! I will gladly sign whatever you want to, but I am here in my free-time so I would highly appreciate it if you could give me my privacy?"
And so, Jason began directing traffic. Both had already forgotten about poor Marius...

It took them a while but eventually everyone was satisfied as they had received an autograph and a picture with the idol herself! Naturally, on each picture she did a cute pose like a peace-sign for example with a wide and cheerful smile to fit with her idol-persona. Since these fans were all aspiring heroes, they understood that they needed to respect her privacy and personal space which is why they were satisfied after an autograph. "Everyone!" Izumo shouted out to the group of people who were now standing gathered in front of her with Jason next to her. "Thank you so much for all your support! It is thanks to you that I am able to keep going despite all the hardships in my way. Fans like you are the reason why I exist! So please..." Izumo closed her eyes, widened her smile and put her right hand on her hip with her elbow extended outwards and then proceeded to push out that hip a little for a more idol-esque and pretty pose. Her left arm wandered into the air and showed a thumbs up above her head with the arm fully extended.
"Do your best in the exam for me!"
The way she talked directly to the chance with her cute voice, combined with that cute/sexy posed cause the crowd to roar out with a loud cheer.
"Yes Izumo!!! Thank you!!
The idol gave them all a wave and then proceeded to step away from them together with Jason.

Eventually both were around the next corner and away from the preying eyes of her fans. Finally she dropped her smile and sighed out.
"Why does this always happen..."
Jason sighed out in relief too. "You have too many fans Izumo. But..." he mustered her and gave her a cheeky smile.
"Don't pretend like you don't like the attention."
Izu in turn replied by sticking out her tongue teasingly and playfully with a soft smile. "Duh!" and then, both laughed it off happily.

While they attempted to escape the fans' eyes, they did not even notice where they went precisely. For better or for worse they ended up next to a familiar face without even noticing it...
Right next to them was that dog-boy from earlier! They did not even notice him as they were laughing and talking, so mayhaps he still had a chance to escape them before they noticed him? Despite the fact that they were standing practically next to him, they were too focused on the fans initially to really notice him, but that would soon change.

Marius was soon swamped by the mob of crazed fans, sure he was no longer suffering from dreaded embarassment but now he had a new problem at hand. "AHHH!", the boy shouted while reaching out his hand dramaticaly as if someone was going to pull him out of this predicament but he was wrong. Soon enough Marius was swallowed up the the crowd of crazeds fans, bouncing around suffering a bit of blunt blows before being aggressively shoved to the outside of the mob. Marius landed on the ground with a hard thud, he had took a couple of good hits while he was in that madness though the mild pain on his body would disappear soon enough. The young pup looked down at his clothes which had been stained dirt from when he hit the ground, his ears drooped too the side once again as he saw the condition his shirt was in. "Wow" he said before getting onto his feet and trying to brush off as much dirt from his body as he could, "the nerve of some people."

Soon the boys ears twitched as he heard the sound of laughing and gigglign approaching, at this point he was pretty much tired of social interaction and wished to be alone. The voices were approaching rather quickly and soon enough they caught up to him, and to his luck it was the same pair that caused the outbreak. Marius's ears perked up as he looked over his shoulder and stared at the two, his eyes were still fearful but also hid a bit of resentment. As he stared at the pair there was a short moment of silence before the pup turned his head forward and lowered his body onto all fours taking a defensive stance, the boys pupils began to dilate, fangs began to sprout from his mouth, and his nails tranfromed into razor sharp claws. Even his build bulked up the more he became in tune with his feral instincts.

Marius let out a few warning barks as the two got closer, both predatorial in sound. ”Stay away from me”, the boy backed up a few steps before breaking off into full sprint putting on display for the two an impressive show of athleticism. With two powerful pushes from his legs, Marius was near the end of the alleyway and preparing to bank a left turn as be made his way to the exam site thanks to his heightened senses. As he made his way, a trail of finger prints and footprints we’re left behind for the two to follow if they dared.

With dumb and dumber escaping the grasps of the former hero, they were now tasked with making it to the old village square, I am going to get a vantage point real quick to see how far exactly we will need to travel." the blonde said as he extended his arms outward, the same cloth like appendages seeped through the sleeves of his hoodie before grappling onto a nearby building and pulling the boy to the roof. From higher up he felt a nice breeze that caused his hair to sway, Damian made sure to leave some appendages anchored onto the roof to act as a safety harness. The boy took in a deep breath as he made his way over to the highest point on the building, a smirk of excitement clearly plastered on his face. The boy scanned the horizon shortly before his eyes widened at a point of interesst in the distance, towards the edge of the village northwest of his location he could see poor quality buildings in the distance which could definitely fit the descripton of broken down and ravaged. With his destination now marked the boy made his way to edge of the building and safely returned back to Biron who had been waiting patiently. "So?"

"We're heading northwest, lets hurry up and get there so we can scout out the comp"

With that being said Damian broke out into a speed walk with Biron following.

Izumo Hatsue

Both of them had barely noticed how they had approached the same person who so awkwardly caused the scene that lead to the fans swarming them in the first place. However, once they had noticed the shy guy, both Izumo and Jason stopped in their tracks as the unknown boy seemed to take on a rather defensive and agressive posture. While they couldn't really expect what was about to happen, Izumo decided that she felt really bad for what had happened because of her popularity, so she wanted to apologize to him as awkward as he was. The girl reached out a hand toward him and was about to say something when-
"Hey there! Sorry about what ha-"
Then he started transforming and barking. Izumo was frightened by the sudden and drastic change of tone. So much so that she let out a small squeeling noise and pulled her arm back! "E-Ehh!"

Naturally, as it was common with Jason, he immediately stepped forward and in front of Izumo, raising his arms protectively. They had encountered so many crazy fans already together that Jason was used to having to protect Izu. Not that she couldn't fight for herself but he felt obligated to care for his year-long best friend. With an intense expression, one that was showing that he was not willing to back down at all, Jason stared at the much more intimidating than before Marius, before he decided to run away, making sure they understood that he wanted to be left alone.

Once he was gone, both Jason and Izu let out a sigh of relief which was followed by a few seconds of silence. This encounter was enough to get both of their hearts racing, Marius surely made an impression on them. "T-That was something..."
Izumo eventually said to break the silence.
"It sure was." Jason added. Only a moment later he suddenly gave Izu a smug grin. "I have seen a lot of somethings and boy let me tell you, this sure was one of them."
Izu replied by looking him dead in the eyes with a neutral expression. "Quite meme-ing, we have to find the"
Though once Izu had turned around she couldn't help but smile. Even in these situations, Jason always knew how to cheer her up.
"Whatever you say Ma'am."

Afterwards, both went on their search to the starting point of the exercise. They didn't follow the tracks left behind by Marius since his warning was quite clear and another confrontation would be less than favorable, he had made that much clear. Luckily for them, the rest of the search was relatively uneventful It took them about 15 more minutes until they had arrived at a larger plaza where dozens of students were already waiting. They both agreed that this must be the place... now to wait until the exercise begins. Until it would start, both just idled and chatted about the upcoming task ahead and their different strategies. They rehearsed some fighting techniques of one another and helped each other out in analyzing weaknesses and the like. One could say that both got really invested into this whole hero ideal, and Jason really seemed to brighten up in this conversation.

Nadeko Tayama

Nadeko had gotten up at 4am just to check the mail for this box. She could barely sleep the night before. Partly from knowing that today was the first day of her new school life as a Hero student, and partly because of this box. Gear Girl, Nadeko's idol growing up due to the similarity of their quirk effects, had made a set of intricate mechanical hands that could be operated by minute magnetic forces in specific areas. Upon opening the box, Nadeko would see the hands, ornate and looking like 19th century clockwork trinkets as per Gear Girl's style, but with a coat of metallic red paint to fit in with Nadeko's proposed costume's color palate. The hands themselves were made of brass, but the rim around each wrist was pure iron, as were the tips of the coils inside that allowed her to operate them. Also inside the box was a thick white leather belt, with two patches at the rear that could contain the hands when not in use. There was also a pamphlet at the bottom containing instructions. After removing the hands and the belt, Nadeko picked up the box with her flat stumps and lifted it to tip it upside down and retrieve the pamphlet.

For the better part of two hours, Nadeko reads the instructions, and plays around with the hands. It's new and exciting, but also a little frustrating, as Nadeko wasn't used to using her magnet arms in such a precise way before. An interesting thing about the hans was that they had a locking feature. Pressing down a pin on the side of the hand, you could lock a hand into a specific position so that magnetism wouldn't then affect the hand. Nadeko immediately saw the benefit of this, and opened her window. Very slowly and carefully, she focused on closing each finger individually to make a fist, then aimed her fist out the window and suddenly repulsed the fist. It was sent flying out the window. She suddenly put all her effort into attracting it and the fist flew back and attached itself to her flat stump again. She depressed the pin, and could move the hand again.

"I can Rocket Punch! This is so cool!" she chimed excitedly, before her parents called her to breakfast. The distraction breaking her concentration resulted in both hands falling to the floor. She blushed and put them back on. Keeping the hands on would require a conscious effort to maintain. Over time, she might get used to it, but for now, that must be why she had the belt. When she didn't need her hands, she could just carry them.

At breakfast, she tried to use chopsticks with her new hands, and made a mess. So she admitted that may have been a little too ambitious, and tried to hold a fork instead. When this was also beyong her, she sighed, put her hands away and magnetically stuck the fork to her arm, before twisting it so that she could eat just like she had her whole life; handless.

After breakfast, Nadeko kissed her parents on the cheeks, yelled goodbye and headed out to catch the train.

Katsumi Enoke

Katsumi stepped off the train, smiling shyly to herself and avoiding eye contact. She looked young for her age and her sense of fashion didn't help. Several people on the train had thought she was 12 or 13. She was 15. This was her first day of Hero School. Finally. After a lifetime of being told her quirk was a 'Supervillain quirk'. After hearing people jokingly claim they were jealous, and that if they had her quirk they'd impersonate famous or influential people and use it to get rich or powerful. Kat never wanted that. She was the purest, kindest soul you could meat, or she would be if it weren't for the years of repressed bitterness. Of course she always wanted to help people and do the right thing, but that's not why she was going to Hero School. She was doing this primarily to prove everybody wrong. To prove that she wasn't a villain, but a hero!

Still, that couldn't happen if she couldn't even find the meeting place. There were several other students her age, wondering around aimlessly. She decided not to follow them. She needed a better view of the place. There wasn't a map. A lot of buildings were run down. She found quite a tall one, and went around to it's back door, which was chained and padlocked. She morphed to give herself the body of a strongman, and kicked the door off it's hinges. Then she morphed again to give herself the body of the women's marathon first place winner she saw in T.V. a few weeks ago, and started running up the stairwell. Once she was at the top, she looked out the windows of the foyer, and spotted a big plaza full of teenagers. That would definitely be the place, and she knew its direction now. She started to head down the staircase. After less that five minutes, Katsumi was in the plaza with the rest of the students, with time to spare! She looked around. There were many interesting quirks. One that stuck out was a girl with giant comical rectangular magnets for arms. Katsumi was about to laugh, before she thought about it and realized how awful that must be to live with.

Once a good amount of distance was placed between himself and the two other test takers, Marius decided to stop and a take a short break to calm down. He leaned against a warn down building and clenched his chest, begging for his heart beat to slow down as he slouched over. He quickly turned his body, placing his back against the building in which he shortly slid down onto the floor. He took a deep breath before throwing his hands against his face before silently sulking to himself.

"Why?"

He questioned why his quirk worked in that manner, upon activation his personality would flip and he'd turn into an aggressive beast, a monster that he was honestly afraid of. It was another side of him that when released it instilled fear in not only him but those around him, the way that boy looked at him was proof. He looked at him as if he as crazy and that wasn't even close to Marius being at his worst, though the girl on the other hand seemed much more startled then frightened. The pup took his hands away from his eyes to look up into the sky and take a deep breath, the physical changes that he had equipped during his short transformation began to revert back to their original state. The boy slouched his head back down towards the ground before holding his legs in a fetal position, his eyes drifted from the ground towards his watch which had been broken when he got trampled in the mob.

"Oh gre-...THE TIME"

He nearly forgot about the exam which was going to begin soon, Marius leapt from the ground and frantically looked from left to right trying to figure out which direction he should go in. He then paused remembering to use his senses, Marius closed his eyes in order to direct more focus onto his nose, the pup inhaled the aromas that surrounded him before sprinting left.

I can still smell the turkey!

Marius began running on all fours, increasing his own speed as he made haste towards the entrance exam area.

Houdini

In a cloud of smoke, a white haired man appeared at the center of old Shinto village square. The pro known as Houdini captured everyone’s attention as he made his entrance, the excitement on his face was clear as surveyed the area of all the partcitpants before greeting the examinees.

“Good morning examines, I hope you had an easy enough time making your way over here. I am the pro hero known as Houdini and I will be overseeing your exam this year.”

Houdini placed his right hand in the air before flicking it, like magic a red 3 of diamonds playing card appeared in between his index finger and middle finger. The man threw the card swiftly onto
the ground and from it a foldable table, chair, as well as a briefcase had appeared. Houdini slid behind the table taking a seat while simultaneously opening the briefcase.

“If everyone can neatly form a single file line, I will begin to get all participants checked in and accounted for before we begin the Sekai Academy entrance exam”

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Marius was beginning to close in on the exam area, his ear perked up at the manly voice he could hear in the distance. The only thing blocking him from reaching the exam was large wall that separated the abandoned village, it towered at about 15 feet in the air. Marius felt a bit daunted for a split before a voice popped into his head.

I can make it!

The pup lowered his body and began to pick up in speed, once he was about 25 feet away from the wall Marius lept onto the side of a house situated near the old shinto village border before vaulting over the obstacle. As he lept off the house, he his finger and footprints on the side of the building. His eyes grew wide as he cleared the wall. Though what waited for him on the other side was a rather large bush in which the boy ended up kissing.

"AH"

were the only words he said before disappearing into the bush, his yell could be heard from quite a few students that were situated on the outskirts of the square whom quickly whipped their heads around questioning the sound, only to find no culprit. After a few seconds of searching they surrendered and moved to checking in with Houdini.

"Lets go check in."

Marius took a moment to gather himself, other than a few twigs stuck in his hair he was pretty much fine. His ears perked up at the voice of some girl who was most likely talking to a friend, saying that they should go sign in.

Marius peeked through the bush that he was in to check if the coast was clear, he already attracted enough attention today and didn't want to be popular for another 'public event'. Once he believed that there were no eyes facing his direction he hopped out of the bush and cleaned himself off before heading off to check in.

Izumo Hatsue

Finally, something had happened. The pair was getting tired of waiting around in a place with so many other people; It sure got a bit corwded after a while. Luckily for Izumo, the people were way too focused to bother her since this entrance exam really meant a lot to these aspiring heroes who all hoped to enroll into the academy. The tests were not gonna be easy, everyone knew that, so the right mental state was key in passing the exam!
The pro hero known as Houdini made his appearance and all the eyes were immediately on him. Of course Jason and Izumo would turn their heads too, interrupting their conversation as he made his entrance to announce the signing in process for the exam. The line was forming and already there were plenty of people in it, growing every second... this really was gonna be a long wait.

Before Izu could realize it, Jason grabbed her by her wrist and pulled her with him to enter the line quickly so that they would not have to wait too long in the end. The girl stumbled a bit but managed to keep her balance and quickly followed Jason as they both entered the line!
"One line for all potential students? Seriously..." Izu said with a soft sigh.
"It shouldn't take too long hopefully. At least you got more time to get your mind at ease." Jason replied. The girl nodded in confirmation to what he had just said and they'd proceed to wait in line patiently. There was the option to maybe abuse Izu's status as an idol to skip ahead in the line, but neither of them ever really gave that a thought. THey were soon-to-be hero-trainees after all and that was the exact opposite of what was expected of them. Instead, Jason spent his time playing around with his rather unique-looking, futuristic smart-watch wrapped around his wrist while Izumo looked through a notebook which she had brought with her, reading what was written inside. Sometimes she'd even take a pen out of her back and ride new additional things inside or scrap old things that she had noted in there. Whatever it was that she was putting in there, it seemed to cost her a great amount of focus. So much so that she was almost pushed over as the line moved on! Luckily her best friend Jason managed to balance her out in time and moved forward, apologizing on her behalf to the people behind them in the line. Maybe she was a little clumsy...

Houdini

At first the check ins was rough but once a routine was in place it began to flow very smoothly, you would think that with one line it would be inefficient but this wasn't Houdini's first rodeo. As each student walked up to the pro hero, he greeted them with a smile and asked for their identification papers, upon checking in each student was given a badge with a number on it making it easy to identify each other.

The white haired man closed his brief case once the last student was checked in and let out a excited sigh, [color=f7976a]"Alright! Now that everyone is checked in we shall now begin part 1 of the Sekai Academy entrance exams! As you all know the test is broken up into a written and physical portion! Now, If you all would please follow me!" The man said leading them towards one a shack that at first glance would raise questions as to whether or not the students were at the right place, Houdini then rolled up his sleeve and pressed a button causing the shack to rise up from the ground revealing the entrance to a hidden doorway underneath the shack. "We are heading towards the testing hall, please stay with the group and don't get lost. We wouldn't want any delays now would we?" the pro said with a smirk.

After a short walk the testing group entered a large state of the art auditorium, "Please take your seats, make sure to fill up the front the seats from front to back." Once everyone had been Houdini pulled out another card from his pocket, this being a 2 of diamonds. "Please turn off your cellular devices and take out a #2 pencil, I will begin passing out the written portion of the Sekai Academy hero entrance exam. A hero in this day in age must be as smart as he is strong and be well versed in present day quirk ethics which is why there is a written portion. At Sekai Academy if you are caught cheating you will receive an automatic 0 so please refrain from cheating, you have 1 hour and 45 minutes to finish. When you receive your test paper you may begin" After giving instructions, Houdini flung the card into the crowd in which the card began to glow brightly before exploding into a multitude of papers that neatly floated their way onto each and every students desk.

"Time starts....now!"

1 hour and 45 minutes later
"Time!"

The man said as he pulled out another 2 of diamonds and held it high in the air in which the card began to glow, like a vacuum all the test papers were pulled towards the card seamlessly, disappearing into the pocket space never to be seen by the students again. "We will now prepare for the physical portion of the exam, please pay attention as I recite the instructions. The man said before a backdrop began to roll down at the front of the auditorium.

"We will be conducting a mock battle inside of a forested setting and your performance will be graded through a point system, it may sound strange to you but a pro must always be prepared despite the area. Inside the test site you will be met with resistance from 'villains' who are robots as well as be required to save 'civilians' which are also robots as a hero. You will receive points depending on how many villains you take down or how many civilians you save giving the opportunity for those who are offensive oriented to shine as well as those who specialize in Utility! Use your quirk to try and earn as much points as you can, using your quirk to attack other students will result in heavy penalties, you have been warned. We will give you guys a 20 minute break to stretch and prepare before starting!"

Nadeko Tayama

After receiving her badge, Nadeko followed Houdini into the shack. This is the part she was the most nervous about; the written test. Nadeko could write, but she used a special apparatus. She'd never tried to write with hands before! Would she be fast enough? Would what she wrote even be readable? Luckily they had a long time for the test, which for other people might be thinking about their answers. Nadeko was already confident in her ability to be a hero and do the right thing, so she'd use that thinking time to write. If she had to think and write, she might be in trouble.

Nadeko took her seat at her assigned desk, then slowly and carefully picked up the pencil with her left hand and held it up so that her right could grip it properly and securely. Then she locked her right hand. Good. She was now ready to go, and awaited being recieved her test. Even better! Half of it was a multiple choice! Nadeko rattled through that section before getting to the part with the long written answers. Here's where it would get tricky.

When it came time, there were still one or two written questions Nadeko hadn't finished. It had required more thought than she had first presumed. However, the answers she had written down her very good answers. Nadeko was clearly used to struggle, being an underdog and needing to be protected, which gave her a strong sense of empathy. She was also very imaginative and clever in thinking up solutions to problems, or battle tactics, using the environment around her. She felt she had done well on the paper despite not finishing it, and thus felt good as she unlocked her hand and the pencil clattered on the desk before rolling off and falling to the floor. Nadeko decided she'd keep her hands on from now on. She'd need to get used to them much more if she were to cope with school life. Nadeko then listened as the practical exercise was described. The enemies would be robots. Nadeko grinned. This couldn't be more perfect for her! She'd make it in for sure!

Katsumi Enoke

Katsumi was so awestruck by the shack having risen from the ground that the next thing she knew the test paper was in front of her. Man, this was just like the stories! It was so cool! However, Katsumi did struggle with the paper. For all her desire to prove she wasn't a villain, her motivations for being a hero were self-centered. She knew right from wrong but had never had to learn self-sacrifice, and had powers that circumvented personal responsibility a lot of the time. If nobody had to get hurt, including herself, wasn't that better than taking a punch for somebody else? Everybody wins. That was the basis of her morality. As such, some of her written answers were dodgy, or she wrote about how she'd use her quirk to circumvent the whole purpose of that question. Nothing she written was outright wrong or villainous, and every action she said she'd take would result in the safety of innocent people and the probable defeat of the bad guys, but just with very little sacrifice or honesty on her part. She finished early, and sat still and tense as she ran down the clock. She was relieved when it was finally time and her paper was collected.

She listened carefully as the practical exercise was described. Katsumi, though she could use her quirk to make herself stronger, wasn't trained in any sort of combat. Fighting the robots would be a last-case scenario for only if she found herself cornered or they were impeding her progress. No, Katsumi would need to focus on saving the civilians in order to score enough points to get a passing mark.Well, anyway, there were 20 minutes to kill. Katsumi looked around, scoping out the competition. How much of a chance did she have. That'swhen she spotted the idol, Izumo Hatsue, and accidentally started staring at her. What was she doing here? Was she trying to be a Hero too?

Izumo Hatsue

With a sigh of relief, Izumo put the pen down after the time was up. Truth be told, she was mostly done already a few minutes earlier but as it was common for the girl she made sure to double-check every answer she could within the given timeframe to make sure that she'd get as many points as possible by spotting mistakes that she had made. All in all, she was rather content with her answers to the questions. The idol had studied and was just generally gifted with a natural affinity for studying, allowing her to gain the required knowledge rather quickly compared to others.

Jason on the other hand... barely managed to finish the test before the time was up. He wasn't stupid or anything, but the guy certainly had to study more than Izumo had for the test, and even then he struggled quite a bit. Overall he was happy with what he had written but it were some very tense circa two hours that he just went through. The imposing physical exam seemed all the more welcome after his brain got worked so hard during the written entrance exam.

After the short introduction for the physical exam, both of the students met up again in the waiting hall where everyone could prepare for the imposing threat ahead.
"Maaaan! That written test was such a breeze, wasn't it?" Izu said as soon as she saw Jason.
"Yeah! I am glad they made it so easy, now we only need to pass the physical." He lied as a reply. There was no way that Jason could admit to his best friend that he struggled on the test, it was a certain image of himself that he wanted to keep up. Naturally, being friends with such a succesful and popular superstar like Izu sometimes made Jason feel insignificant. Which is why he wanted to be on-par if not better than his idol friend in the other categories of life, like education. It didn't feel good to lie, but in his eyes it was necessary for his image.
"Speaaaking of which..." Izu playfully boxed Jason into his sides, not intending to hurt him at all.
"You are so lucky! We are fighting robots... and helping robots... that is like; Best case scenario for you with your quirk!"
He awkwardly scratched the back of his head before replying, unable to surpress a smile.
"Yeah, you're right. Guess I got off easy this time, huh? Make sure you don't fall behind Izu!"
"Pffffff! I would never~"

In that moment, Hatsue noticed Katsumi staring at her. Normally she wouldn't notice someone just staring at her from a distance, however this case was special. Considering the circumstances under which they had gathered there, Katsumi seemed just a bit too young. There's no way they'd let a child participate in a hero's entrance exam for a school, right? Then surely she had to be older than she appeared. But what if she had managed to slip in and was now too scared/shy to ask for help? The idol couldn't let it stand.

With a gentle and reassuring smile, Izu waved towards Katsumi and then approached her, expecting Jason to follow which he promptly did.
"Hi there!" She initiated cheerfully but also a bit carefully. "What are you doing here?"

Damian Miyamoto Biron Nishamura

Marius Anderson

Damian smirked once time was called, completely confident in his ability to pass the written test. In all honesty it would've been a shame if he failed somehow, considering his brother was a hero of notable reputation.

They were given a few minutes to prepare before the true test began.

Biron waved to his friend with a nervous smile, "Dame! How do you think you did."

"Well, I passed of course." He said wiping his nose, there was a cheeky grin on Damians face too, one that immediately gained a reaction out of Biron.

"A little cocky aren't we?" the boy said giving his friend a quirk empowered slap on the back.

Marius on the other hand was having a nervous breakdown in the corner as he prepared himself for what was next, I did well...at least I think so...what if I made a careless mistake! the boy then placed his hands on his head. "Dear God, help me."

Houdini

Houdini began clapped his hands rather loudly in order to gather everyone's attention

"Alright, we are about to begin the physical portion of the Sekai Academy entrance Exam. Please pay attention and follow me."

The pro walked through two double doors and into a dimly lit room made to accommodate a large amount of people. "Please everyone wait in here." Once all the students had filed into the room Houdini let out a smirk.

"Good luck"

In bright flash, the pro hero was gone. The room began to rumble violently making a few students shudder a bit, it took a bit of time for the test takers to register that they were actually moving. They weren't inside a room but a large elevator to be exact. A large intercom cut on soon enough to give them the countdown until do or die time.

The Sekai Academy Entrance exam will begin in T-minus 5 seconds, prepare yourselves. 5....4....3....2...
1...Begin!

Once the voice on the intercom hit 2, the ceiling opened up and sunlight began to flood the room as the test takers reached their stop. The group of kids would soon find themselves in the middle of a mountain forest, once they were given the go ahead. The forest began to erupt with life as tremors and voices alike began to sprout from all directions. Some calling for help while others destroyed the surrounding area as trees could be seen being toppled in the distance. It was utter chaos as students scrambled in all directions with no cohesive plan at hand.

Houdini had disappeared off towards the observation room where he meet up with his other colleagues and survey the test takers.

"Probably my favorite part of the test, seeing who makes the cut."

Katsumi Enoke

Katsumi was snapped out of her thoughts when she noticed that Izumi was looking right at her at waving at her! Kat cringed and blushed. Had she been staring? How could she have been so stupid? The idol was now approaching her, and greeted her, before asking what she was doing here, which was a weird question. As far as Katsumi knew, they were all here for the same reason. Then it clicked.

"I'm here for the same reason you are; to apply for this Hero Academy. If you're worried about my age, I'm fifteen. I know I look younger. I get it a lot. I'm used to it. But why are you here? An idol, with a successful career. Would being a Hero get in the way of that?"

Katsumi glanced at Jason, but didn't say anything to him. She wouldn't even know what to say. Luckily, before she had to think about that too long, Houdini announced that they were about to start the Practical Exam. Katsumi was visibly nervous, and was exhaling deep breaths, yet there was a steel in her eyes. She wasn't scared of the test, just scared of failure. She looked to Izumi and Jason, then back to Houdini. She already knew what her strategy was going to be, besides focusing strictly on rescue.

Nadeko Tayama

Nadeko couldn't help but notice the animal-eared boy in the corner having a mini-panic attack. She debated with herself about going over to make sure he was okay, what she should say, etc. She finally decided to bite the bullet and head over there. Making her way through the crowd with her big, awkward blocky arms was a challenge and she was muttering apologies with every step, but she finally made it to the fox boy....wolf boy? dog boy?

"Hey, you ok?" she asked when she finally reached him. "You look a little freaked out." She was about to say more when Houdini announced the test was about to begin and the room began to move. Nadeko quickly reached back to her belt and attached her new right hand, which she then offered to Marius. "Name's Nadeko Tayama. Good luck out there. I'm sure you'll do fine. You're here for a reason, right?"

When the elevator stopped and the door opened, Nadeko moved away from Marius and towards the entrance, putting her hand back in her belt-pouch. If the 'enemies' were robots, she wouldn't be needing them. The moment she had freedom to do so, she charged forward to wards the nearest crashing sound she heard. It would no doubt be an enemy robot, and she was going to take it down!

Jason Akizuki

Izumo Hatsue

Now Hatsue felt just a little awkward admittedly. Even if the girl had reassured her that it was no problem that she had thought of her as a young child, it was still a somewhat embarrassing mistake, one which she wanted to just walk off. With a somewhat clumsy smile while also scratching the back of her head awkwardly, Izu replied back to the girl in front of her shortly before they were set into motion.
"Oh, uh... I am terribly sorry for making the mistake then! I am glad to hear that you are here on your own merits. And about me... well, I like to think that I can handle being both."
Before anything else could be said though, the platform and gigantic elevator that they were on began moving and shortly afte the countdown already started as they approached the surface. The very sudden start of the whole exam left both Jason and Izu surprised. So much so that they both stared at each other for a few seconds before both look at Kat in front of them. Once they were done being baffled, Jason was the first to talk.
"You better pass this exam Izu!" And without a warning, Jason suddenly began ranning into a random direction, likely together with other students in his close proximity. Izu smiled with a look of determination on her face and shouted back.
"Speak for yourself!"
Before turning towards her newly met co-competitor Kat.-
"And you better pass it too, alright? Or else I'll be disappointed! I am counting on you." The cutesy popstar gave her an adorable peace sign combined with a motivating smile before turning into the opposite direction of Jason and just running herself without any aim in particular.

Houdini

Houdini smirked from behind the he screen as he watched the kids flood out of the starting point, using their quirks in all sorts of manners.

"Hmmm"

It was to be expected from the examinees, they aimed to rack up the most amount of points and top the leader boards which in itself isn't a bad idea, but there was something else that Houdini was looking for. Call it that x-factor, something that could change the fate of a situation all together.

Being a hero isn't all about power and strength.

Marius Anderson

Marius's nervous breakdown has seemed to attract the attention of another examinee, she asked if he was alright. Of course I'm not alright, do I look alright! he thought silently to himself as he turned to the girl trying to force a smile. Before he could open his mouth and reply to her, Houdini announced the commencement of the entrance exam. Within moments the room began to vibrate, in which he turned back to the girl who seemed to be also startled by the room moving. She introduced herself briefly before telling him good luck and disappearing into the crowd. Once the elevator room reached its summit the ceiling opened up revealing, it seems like the exam area would be the hilled forest outside of the village.

Once the test had began, the students pouring out combined with the sounds of the robots crying for help made Marius rather anxious. In the distance he could also hear trees being toppled down coupled with loud mechanical noises, wasn't this supposed to be an entrance exam? Why is so much going on? He sat in place silently for a little bit quickly falling behind as the other examinees acted quickly on the opportunity given to them.

Damian Miyamoto
Biron Nishamura

Damian closed his eyes and zoned himself out as he waited for the elevator to reach its summit, he was calm and collected and most importantly, ready for what was to come.

"Biron, this is our first step, i'm leaving everything out on the table." he said with a smirk as he raised his fist up to his friend in which the larger boy responded bumping it back with his own knuckle. "For Pharoah." he nodded as he smirked. Biron may not be the bravest, but he would always pull through when it counted.

Once the count down hit zero, Damian sent out one of his appendages toward the top branch of a neighboring tree before using it to launch himself to the top of the piece of oak. Once he reached to the top he used the moment to evaluate the surrounding area. As he took in the landscape he chuckled, "Looks like they didn't pull any punches". There were waves of enemies surely and they ranged in size greatly, the much smaller yet mobile robots would reach the starting location rather quickly where as the large, titan-esk robots that towered 7 story buildings were further out in the distance.

Looks like we have our hands tied.

The first wave of enemies were inbound, Medium sized canine like robots reached the starting point rather quickly and quickly the fight was on as they clashed with the test takers. It seemed as though one of the robots had its eyes set on Izumo Hatsue, as it quickly got the jump on her.

Izumo Hatsue

This was it; It was finally on. The very beginning of her journey in a new world of heroes, one vastly different from anything she had experienced before in the musical industry. It was all kinds of exciting for her and, because she could hardly contain herself and the enthusiasm towards everything related to it, Izu ran at the very forefront of students, although gradually the masses would thin out as they ran into a multitude of directions at different speeds. However, being one of the first people to leave the starting area had its negatives as well. After all when it came to the exercise it was both "First comes first serves" but also a huge risk to rush blindly into the hurdles and dangers that would be thrown at the potential students to test their abilities for the hero course.

As for the aspiring idol-turned-hero, Izu would soon come to face with the first opposition of many; Mechanical canines. Why exactly robot dogs were thrown at her was beyond the girl to figure out. Besides, there was no time to think about such details in the moment anyways.

The blue-haired girl stood opposite of the mechanically growling canine, its sensors fixed upon her frame as she took a defensive stance.
"E-eeek! Robot... dogs..." She said out loud as she mustered her first foe. It managed to stop her dead in her tracks and the both scared and disgusted facial expression of hers made it easy to see just how excited she was that it were canines she was up against, especially after she was already frightened by one earlier today. Spoiler: She was not happy at all to see robo-dogs.
Izu began thinking. "What do I do... what do I do.... hmm... against dogs... and robots?"
But her thinking took too long. The mechanical being lunged at her, a heavy and hostile machinery pouncing at her lik that was really not a pleasant sight, and the idol only managed to escape at the last possible moment by essentially combat-rolling to the side. Now being crouched down after the roll with one knee on the floor, Izu quickly grabbed her backpack from her shoulders and opened it while the canine recovered from the missed attack. "Come on... come on... faster! This should work..."
She opened the bag, grabbed a pen together with a piece of paper and then quickly proceeded to scribble the words "Dog Whistle" onto it. Afterwards she began imagining a very loud beeping noise, one that would make her bones shiver and give her goosebumps if heard by herself. After only a short moment, she held the paper up in full view of the canine and then suddenly, an incredibly loud noise would be played. A noise of such high frequency that it was unable to be heard by humans, luckily. That's right... she played the sound of a Dog Whistle at incredibly high volume!

~Dramatic zoom-in, camera freeze~

Izumo Hatsue - Quirk: Onomatopoeia

By writing down the describtion of a sound while simultaneously thinking about it, Izumo can create any sound which she wants to as long as she herself sufficiently both knows what it sounds like in great detail and can imagine said noise clearly. She can adjust the frequency, pitch and volume of it, allowing her to create sounds which she cannot even hear by shifting the pitch of a sound she is familiar with!
Furthermore, her quirk allows her to visualize any noise that she hears into floating text, visible for anyone, describing the heard sound.

Nadeko Tayama

The moment Nadeko saw the quadruped robots, she rushed towards them. One of them leapt for her and she instinctively put her arms up to cover her face like a shield. Her arms together formed a cube of solid metal that the dog collided with, knocking Nadeko back. Before the robot could regain its footing for another attack, she pointed her arm at its head and pulled. The robot's head stuck to her magnetic limb and she kept pulling until light left its eyes, where she depowered and it fell to the floor with a dull thump. Robots and magnetism don't mix.

Feeling a lot more confident, she started running towards one of the bigger, bipedal robots. On her way, two of the dogs jumped at her from either side but were repelled with ease. One of them smashed into a large tree with such force it broke in two. She wondered if she'd be able to use her magnetic power to pull the bigger robot down, so she tried, and immediately fell flat on her face. Guess that plan was a bust. But it did give her a great idea. She tried again, this time aiming her arms higher, and this time not stopping. She realised that she did not have enough power to move such a large mass of metal. She also realised that even if she did, her own mass was nothing compared to that so she'd never be able to stay on her feet. But this could be used to her advantage, as right now, at this very moment, Nadeko was flying through the air, up towards the robot's torso, whereupon she began to climb up the massive robot, careful not to let her magnetism stop, for that would mean grave injury at this height or worse.

Katsumi Enoke

Katsumi avoided the robots, and ran past them. Her legs got noticeably longer and more muscular to anybody that was watching, and she started to run faster, outrunning the robotic canines. Katsumi was instead heading for the cries for help that she could hear. This was it. This was her chance to earn her place. To prove that she has what it takes to be a Hero!

Unfortunately, she wasn't the most alert or trained person out there, so she was tackled by one of the canines. She beefed up her arms, but even punching it with the arms of a boxer had no effect. Of course, it didn't really help that Katsumi had no idea how to punch properly. All she ended hurting her hands. She frantically looked around, and saw a tree branch, which she forced into the robot's jaws, and then rolled over so she was now on top. Now it couldn't bit her, she looked for a switch or cable of some kind. Finding one, she pulled the casing from it and then tugged it. The robot stopped moving. Katsumi breathed a sigh of relief, shrunk her arms back down to normal size and carried on running.
