"Yeah but they won't be," Karena mutters, going in the same direction that she saw them flee in. She socks one in the gut, then blows another's knee out with her foot. She soon crouches amid heaps of unconscious and or incapacitated bodies. "Maybe I could've done it closer to the office?" she mutters to herself, carrying the bodies two by two to the office for identification and interrogation.

Max, who had been wandering about, passes Karena. They nod at her sagely, not acknowledging the pile of students left, and continue walking. A voice calls something, sounding angry, and they let out a cackling laugh, breaking into a sprint. They turn a corner only to come tearing back around it a second later, followed by a larger Legacy student.

As soon as Alexei shuts the door, Max opens it, pushing their way in whilst laughing. They slam it shut and lock it behind them. Once the door is locked, their expression wipes with a sigh. They turn around and stare at Alexei without a hint of emotion, then move to their bed without sound.

Exhausted, Karena goes to her room and sits on her bed, silently wishing no one was watching so she could collapse. 'I might get an hour in tonight', she jokes with herself. She lays back and closes her eyes.

She sleeps for a bit and then sighs as she gets back up. She goes to the bathroom and soon she comes out with her legs bandaged. Red seeping throw them. She pulls on her shorts and the walks around for a bit.

Max grins at Alexei, managing to look only a little threatening. "Indeed I am. I'm Max. You are?" They take his hand and release it just as quickly, moving past him. On they bed, they pick up a change of clothes and take them to the bathroom. They return a minute later. They settle onto the armchair on their side.
