Woot, everyone's all posted up. I'll try to get a post out either a bit later tonight, or tomorrow after work. There'll likely be a bit of micro-managing for a while now, since Athena's going to have to give falna to three different people all in a row. I'll try my best to make it feel special and meaningful to each of you, though at the same time keep it streamlined so we don't get bogged down doing it for too long... Plus, we need Torran to eventually show up, which should be happening rather soon.

Seems like the Torran adventure could just be resolved with a quick collab or something. Dude walks in right as the third falna is distributed and wham you got a party.

What, and just rush all the hard work and engaging backstory that has gone into the ever-important side-quest about him taking a bunch of smelly, dirty children to find their negligient mother? Not a chance!

Besides, Torran's efforts are going to be rewarded. He's the only one who didn't magially and conveniently appear at the front door of Warrior's Rest without any explanation after all. Doing things get you stuff, yuppers.

I definitely agree that side quests should be rewarded, that's what they're for after all, but it's a bit unfair to say everyone else appeared "without any explanation". It was kind of implied that's where the group should be headed so the rp proper can start, so everyone found an excuse to get there to do just that. I could've just as well had Ayame run around in circles in the city for 10 posts.

Hmm, so it looks like Ayame asked to join the familia. OK, I will find a way to justify that in my next post. Maybe she was afraid the thugs would keep going after her so she signed up hoping it would protect her, without realizing she was basically signing up to go on an adventure and get her hands dirty. That wasn't supposed to be part of getting rich!!

Either way it looks like we should wait for Torran for now. I'll try to get a post in on the next round it's needed.

Like I said in te Interest Check - people are free to wander about and do what they want, be it go to the dungeon, the tavern, the market or somewhere else in the city. The pace of the roleplay is based solely on what you guys do, less so of my interference or forcing things along. So if everyone wants to show up at the plot-advancement point coincidentally at the same time, that's fine. Just saying, if you wanted to have Ayame run around the town for 10 posts, you totally could've. :p

As for Ayame's joining, having a bunch of simple peons around to cater to her whims and act as her meat-shields sounds like something right up her alley... Who said she had to go adventuring when she can get the other fresh meat to do it for her? ^^

I will type up a post now-ish.then sleep. Slept very poorly last night, woke up 3 seperate times...

Duoya, we'll be doing a collab for the next bit, which is why I didn't include any Torran-related things in the post this time. Jus hang on a bit more, will get around to it later this evening. :)

Usually yes, unless you do a collab post. Talking is one of the slowest thing in an RP, which is ironic, since it's also one of the most important bits for actually showing off a character. Funny how that works.
Now to have some spring rolls and wait for more posts.
Vertigo should be coming back to us soon as well. ^^

Caught some kind of illness this past Wednesday and have been ill since then. In light of this, nobody should feel the need to rush or stress over posting, as I'm not likely going to be able to churn out anything myself at any reasonable pace, unless this crappy sickness goes away. :(

Hope you feel better soon! I was sick the whole week myself, so I can definitely sympathize there.

Got a short catch up post in for Ayame. Aren't you glad her and her totally not judgmental ways are back? You should be. She won't take no for an answer.

Birds of a feather, ERode. You just can't see the forest because of all the trees, as usual. ;)

A small post to move things along. Sorry for the wait everyone, but I'm actually still sick and not recovered yet. If this illness doesn't go away by tomorrow, I'm going to have to visit the local clinic and get them to do a check-up on me. :/
