Robin blinked and looked at her. “Bats isn’t okay? His been going for weeks...trying to find this guy...his afraid of losing Wolf...she’s been thru so much...now learning we may lose her at the end of all of this...he doesn’t want her to be alone...like he was...” he was rambling now, barely standing now as he swayed and was leaning against Diana. “His a good guy...he cares a lot...” he swayed and fell against Diana. “Don’t let him leave alone...his been alone enough...”

Batman looked back up at them and said “when I know everyone else is safe...” he got up slowly and said “I want to make sure Diana found robin...” he moved to the door but he stumbled and hit the side cart, the room spinning on him. Arrow grabbed his arm and said “Guys his warm. More then normal...” Batman coughed suddenly and muttered “need to check...on...” he grunted and one knee buckled.

Diana caught the young boy when he fell against her. She gave a gentle smile before picking up Robin and taking him to his room so he could sleep. "It will be okay Robin. Batman will be okay, we will make sure he gets his rest." She tells him. Once she gets to his room, she lays him down on his bed and covers him up.

Superman quickly grabbed Batman quickly picking the man up in his arms. "He's running a fever. I've got to get him to Alfred. I'll be back. Arrow, go ahead and start the first shift. I'll come back and take second." He said before leaving and taking Bruce to his house and dropping him off in the care of Alfred before coming back to the Young Justice base.

Robin flinched in his sleep and turned over in bed, breathing deeply. He muttered “Riza...Wolf...” he passed out completely. The door opened and Artemis was there. “Is robin okay? He wasn’t in the lab...you should see what he found”

Batman moaned but couldn’t move, fighting to open his eyes. When he got to the manor Alfred ran over and said “oh no not again what happened to him?...leave him with me and come in the morning. I’ll get him fixed up. Please send my dear lady Wolf my best? Oh and I have a Get well basket for her on the table there...” he took Batman’s arm and Bruce moaned “Clark...watch over them...please...”

Arrow nodded and sat down, taking Wolfs hand and said “we are right here kiddo...just hang in there okay?”

Wonder Woman turned when she had seen the door open, seeing it was only Artemis. "He will be. Some rest will help him." She walked out of Robin's room to shut the door. "I was just about to head there myself. He had been talking about it then went about mumbling because of how worried he was." She then began he walk to the lab to see what it was that Robin found. When she made it to the lab and opened the door, the screen was on, showing all that Robin had linked together. "Batman sure find one smart kid. Seems someone from the fight club made a call to Wolf and didn't say who he was. From the looks of it, there is a second shadow on the man. I wonder what that could mean."

Clarke left Batman in his care as Alfred began fretting over him, and for good reason. He smiled softly for Alfred always cared for those that Bruce showed care for. Looking to Bruce who asked for him to watch over the kids, nodded, though Batman couldn't see it. "I will Bruce. Get some rest and let Alfred take care of you. He then grabbed the basket and looked to the butler. "I'll make sure she knows you wish her well." Then took off back to base to help with watching over Wolf.

Artemis looked at it all then pointed. “Robin left his notes...dead man? Wait isn’t that the guy who died and came back to solve his own murder? His one of Batman’s guys. What could he have to do with all of this?”

Alfred nodded and carried Batman inside. “Master Bruce you’ve over done it...come and rest...”

Back at the base Arrow was sitting by Wolfs bed, looking at the chart that just came out and muttered “no idea why I’m reading this...I have no idea what I’m reading.” He looked at Wolf and muttered “I hope your hanging in there kid...a lot of people are worried about...” he stopped when Wolfs hand moved a little. He moved over and took her hand. “Wolf? Can you hear me kiddo?” Her face was still wrapped up and the mask over her mouth. Arrow cursed and stood muttering “can I take off the ice packs for her eyes...”

Wonder Woman seemed in thought for a bit as she thought what the reason could be. "I wouldnt have much to offer what it could it be. Maybe see if he would know someone who has two shadows or maybe someone body possesses like he does." She offered. I'll talk to Batman to see what he knows in the morning."

J'onn walked into the room after having stepped out for a moment. He was hearing Green Arrow speak but then realized what was going on. "She is awake? This good news. Here. Allow me to help." He makes his way to the bedside and places a hand on hers to see what was going on. What she wanted, what pain she was feeling.

Artemis nodded and said “I’ll keep going on robin was working on and see what else I can find. Though I was walking thru the main bay and saw Superman carrying bats...is he okay?”

Arrow looked up and said “I think she might be...her hand moved...” Wolf felt Jon and in her mind said “Jon? What’s happening...I can’t move...my eyes feel heavy...Everything hurts...the others aren’t safe...Bane will go after them...” suddenly her heart rate jumped and Arrow said “Jon whats on? Is she okay?” She was in a lot of pain now, her free hand weakly trying to get the mask off

Wonder Woman looked to Artemis with a raised brow. "It sounds like Batman overtaxed himself. Superman is making sure he is in good hands." She looked to Artemis then. "Make sure you do not overtax yourself either. Save the report for the morning on what you may find." Diana said with a soft smile before taking her leave. She needed to make sure she was ready for her shift to come on watching Wolf.

'It's alright Wolf. You are in the ICU. You are badly injured for Dr. Strange, myself and Flash did all we could to give you a fighting chance to live. They are safe. They are home and safe. Bane is in Belle Reve. I am sorry Wolf. We did all we couldn't. Rest is all that can be done to help the healing process.' J'onn explained, hoping she would understand and not struggle. "Arrow, up the dosage of morphine for her so she is comfortable."

Artemis nodded and said “better check in with arrow before heading to bed...” she saved what robin had to the case file then shut everything down.

Arrow nodded and moved to the machine, hitting the morphine button. Wolf grabbed the mask and pulled it down, the ice packs coming off her swollen eyes. She looked at Jon and her eyes filled with tears as she tried to talk but couldn’t. Arrow looked over and said “Bane had her by the throat...crushed something in there?” Wolf nodded slightly then Jon heard “it hurts...Jon..I can’t talk...why...” Arrow looked over and said “her heart is beating really fast Jon, can we knock her out or something to help give her some pain relief?”

'I know Child, and I am sorry. Please bear with this pain a little longer. There is only so much we can do right now but ease the pain.' J'onn told her. He looked to Arrow then, "Let us let the morphine kick in before finding other ways to help ease the pain. This morphine is designed for metahumans. It should kick in soon."

Arrow nodded and hit the button again to be sure it went through. Wolf closed her eyes to her pain and tears rolled down her cheeks. Then she seemed to relax a little, her pulse slowly. Arrow sighed and said “tell me that helped...I can’t stand seeing this kid in so much pain” wolf reached out and took Jon’s hand, her eyes open slightly as they looked at him. She said to him mentally “is...Riza...and the others...safe? How bad...am I really?”

J'onn watched as Wolf seemed to relax from the pain that had been there. He looked to the hand that touched his only to sigh. 'Not good I'm afraid. It will take much time to heal but in time you will get better. Let the shadows help you and the recovery will get better.' he reassured. He would make sure that Strange was informed of what had occurred here as well as the rest of the League, but till then this all would be depending on Wolf and how she wants to recover.

(Mind we skip to the morning or a few days later?)

Wolf nodded and closed her eyes, her hand falling back to the bed. The next week was slow for everyone. Robin was either in the lab or by Wolfs side. No one had heard from Batman and the older leaguers were getting worried. Wolf hadn’t woken since the night of the fight and her healing was slow. Strange had recovered and was taking over Wolfs care but at the moment was with Arrow, Superman and Diana trying to get a hold of Batman. Arrow sighed and said “we need someone to go to his place. It’s not like him not to call. Clark what did Alfred say last time you heard from them?”

Within the week, Riza had been also in the lab, working on her recovery within the gym, or visiting Wolf. It was hard to much else since there was the mysterious body possessor to find and that could be a lot of metahumans that could be that person they were looking for. As of the moment she had been in the gym, working on her recovery from getting her leg strength to getting her body back into shape.

"Last time I was supposed to go see him within the next morning I took him to Alfred. Since then, I thought I would check on him today, maybe go through Alfred since Batman doesn't want to answer us." Clarke said as they had been by Wolf's bed as he had pulled out his phone and go to Alfred's contact info.

Robin was pacing around the gym, trying to think as Riza worked out. “What could he have heard in the fight club to make him make that call? And to call Wolf? I still can’t put that all together...it’s driving me crazy...”

Strange was checking the stats and said “she’s getting there...but wolf has a long way still unless something changes. I’m worried about her mind. Jon said he couldn’t reach her after the first time...” Arrow looked at Clark and said “I’ll go with you. Maybe two of us showing up will get an answer. I just hope nothing is wrong...he was feverish. You don’t think it went worse do you?”

The young Stark had been down on a board as she was using a weight machine but to use on her feet to push and let it push back so she could regain muscle strength. She was listening to Robin as he seemed to often do now when he wanted some help and advice, or to simply hang out. Though she recalled had been since she woke up but had been even more so which she didn't complain. She had someone to help monitor her while she did her physical recovery and a companion.

"Robin. Some of those questions we won't be able to answer till we....find whomever we are looking for. Did you ever get ahold of...your friend on what he might know about this mysterious caller? Obviously he must some sort of...hacker to have had found your phone number and use it without your knowledge. Second, he must be making it hard for the opposing force to find him, which is making it hard for us unless he wants to be found." Riza explained while she was taking a breath between each push with her feet. She then stopped and moved to where she was sitting, reaching by her feet for a bottle of water that she had brought. "Unless he leaves something for us specifically that no one else would try looking, all we can do is let JARVIS continue to use any satellites and cameras that the League uses to find anything close on this fellow." She continued, giving him a hopeful smile. "We'll find him."

Clarke looked over to Dr. Strange with a nod when he explained Wolf's condition. He was worried too. Maybe if we found Bruce, maybe he might be of help to Wolf's status in recovery. No doubt she was probably trying to let her body heal and went into some sort of comatose. That alone was still worrying. He looked to Oliver then and nodded. "It wouldn't hurt to try. He did seem to have a fever. I don't doubt Alfred is doing all he can to make sure he recovers." Superman stands as he looks to Dr. Stange. "We'll be back. See how Batman is doing." Then left to let Diana and J'onn watch over Wolf while he and Arrow went to the manor.

Robin sighed and said “dead man hasn’t gotten back to me but that’s normal...his a ghost. No your right...I just hate waiting. And not hearing from Batman is making me more crazy and then Wolf not recovering as fast as she should...” he sighed and stopped pacing, rubbing his face.

Oliver waved and went after Clark yelling “turn on the music! It seemed to help Wolf before when I’m watching her” strange sighed and sat down, rubbing his face. He was tired again and it was showing. “I don’t know what else to do...I’m worried she’s slipping away from us...”

Riza nodded, understanding what he was thinking. "Come. Help me to the mats please?" She asks as she grabs her small towel and reaches a hand out to him for assistance.

Diana thought that it didn't seem like a bad idea and thought to give it a shot. She looked to the Sorcerer Supreme and gave a reassuring smile. "Wolf is strong. She will overcome what maybe causing turmoil within and recover. This is why it would be wise if Batman would answer us and come see Wolf. Let her know that he too is here and faring well."

Clarke decided to fly them to Wayne Manor, carrying Arrow securely and with practiced ease. Once at the matter in the matter of a few minutes or so, they landed in front of the door with grace and ease. He decided to make the first move and knock on the door, awaiting who he hoped would be Alfred.

Robin nodded and moved over and took her hand and helped her up. But he misjudged where the edge of the mat was and his heel caught. They both fell but robin wrapped his arms around her to keep her from hitting the floor. They landed hard and robin cursed. “I’m sorry Riza are...” then he went bright red when he realized Riza was on top of him.

Strange nodded and rubbed his face, sighing with stress dripping off of it. “I hate this...I just want to fix everything...but I can’t and I drives me insane...this poor girl didn’t need this...Batman needs to show up dang it”

There was a pause and Oliver said “maybe no one is...” then the doors opened and a very stressed out Afred appeared. His clothes were a mess and he said “oh hello. I didn’t expect...what’s happened? Is it ms Wolf?”

Riza was watching her feet and had not noticed what happened to Robin till it was too late. Riza squeaked with a startling yelp as she fell with Robin. She felt his arms around her as he protected her from hitting the floor while having her eyes shut tight. While it wasnt so bad since they landed on the mats. Riza opened her eyes as she moved and shifted to where she could see his face. She too blushed and red as she realized that she was on top and pressed against him. She felt she couldnt speak at the moment and nodded. She carefully got off of Robin so she didn't hurt him and sat next to him. It took Riza a bit to speak but she did. "A-Are you okay?" Having looked away a little from him.

Clarke looked worried at the sight of Alred from the way he opened the door. Something was wrong and it involved Bruce. It had to be. "Alfred what happened? Is Bruce alright?" He asked. Ingoring his questions fornthe time being. He would answer them later. Right now this was serious.
