so for the clan sheet, there is a bit called INTEGRATION, that is because this sheet was originally used for a Kirigakure roleplay. In kusa, it doesn't really make sense so you can delete it! :)

Takeshi, having lost his mother in the war, wants to keep things as peaceful as possible. Shinobu, her father's family having lived in Kusagakure for a very long time, is a firm leader that the only way to prevent constant fighting is to firmly stomp another Shinobi Village to show they are powerful and not to be trifled with. |

Okay, I'm almost done with my clan sheet, but I'm not sure what the distinction in clan head and founders between 'age' and 'current age' is? Does it mean 'age ruled' and 'current age?' if so, there's an error at that part in the example sheet you gave.

It was to be a new chapter in Surudo's history, with better equipment to train with, new techniques to learn, and more allies to spar with. Despite the loss of life, the Surudo were able to keep their heads up due to their leaders positivity. Things were slowly getting better for the Surudo up until the Second Shinobi War. Many Surudo felt it their duty to fight for their new home and prove themselves, Honoka and Isamu included. In the brutal six years of fighting, many Surudo were lost, Honoka included. Isamu was forced to step down as leader once wartimes ended. The clan heads that have stepped up now are a Kusagakure native, Shinobu, and Honoka's son, Takeshi. PRESENTLY There has been a hard split in the clan whether to support Kusa no Jitsu or Kusa no Hana ever since the Second Shinobi War. Takeshi, having lost his mother in the war, wants to keep things as peaceful as possible. Shinobu, her father's family having lived in Kusagakure for a very long time, is a firm leader that the only way to prevent constant fighting is to firmly stomp another Shinobi Village to show they are powerful and not to be trifled with. |

Is there a special emphasis on the castes in this? I vaguely recall the sheet from the other version, with a heavy emphasis on it. Is this just a leftover or is it significant?

They're less-so castes and more-so societal classes. It's important for station, mainly, as Kusagakure is skewed to heavily favor shinobi over citizens and classist behavior is common. It isn't as heavily emphasized as that roleplay, though. It won't have buffs or anything, its mostly for background purposes
I also want to say that the other RP doesn't represent me and @Amore, extenuating circumstances occurred to lead to the abandonment of that roleplay (:

the sheet is encouraged but not required, as long as you have the information. I'm also always willing to help if you want to use the sheet but don't know how. If you prefer not to use the sheet, thats okay it wont hurt my feelings or anything like that
We're not fluent in Japanese by any means, but I'm sure we can try to help. I have a few resources and of the like.
Don't worry about double posting if you have questions, either, we're just happy to see people taking an interest in the first place
