Runa as she died would find herself waking up in a frozen looking hellscape, there she would see thousands of people who looked like they were dead as well. Their bodies looking malnourished, and their eyes looked souless as they wondered aimlessly she would find herself on a bridge one of many. All of them leading towards a what looked like a very large gate where all of the bridges would eventually meet. If she tried to interact with them, they wouldn't even pay attention to her at all, as they continued towards the massive gateway.

At the gate there was a gatekeeper, blocking off anyone who he deemed unworthy to enter, and would swing the massive pillar he held in his hand crushing a poor soul right then and there. His attention suddenly turned towards Runa letting out a loud growling sound. "You should not be here daughter of Balder, you shall not find him." He said as he charged after her, before everything suddenly went black and would wake up in a hotel reception area.

Nadia Petrova

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Lounge -> Reception
Skills: N/A

Nadia sat in the lounge area as she played a round of blackjack with some other Einherjar who were around her age, enjoying the little game there. She didn't really do much during her afterlife here, other than going to the Battlefield every night which was fun and fighting her fellow Einherjar and the daily feasts as well in the Feast Hall of the Slain as well. She made a few friends here and there also she enjoyed sneaking out of Valhalla every now and then with her friend Arnora. Though she never did visit her family, since that would really mess with them that much she knew.

Nadia turned her attention towards the reception area, seeing the door opening and a Valkyrie came in holding a girl in her arms, a little bit curious she started to get up. "Here whoever wants the little bit of money you can have my hand to." Nadia said, leaving her friends to play at the table one of them quickly snatching up her cards and betting money she had. Nadia strapped her sword over her back and made her way towards the reception, getting a better look at the girl who wore a lot of black and goth makeup. Hunding stood nearby Helgi wasn't in the reception desk at the moment either and was stuck in his office. "She should be up pretty soon." The Valkyrie said looking over at the two of them, she remained there though for the time being as well.

Arnora Skadidottir

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Feast Hall of the Slain

Arnora sat in the feast hall with some of her friends who had been here just as long as she had been enjoying her lunch as she dug in looking around at her fellow Einherjar, there weren't as many during breakfast, or lunch hour, but during the dinner hour however it was jammed pack with a lot of people. The occasional Valkyrie would swoop down and refill someone's glass or handed another plate of food, she had spent a lot of her time in some of the training rooms that Hotel Valhalla had as well.

Arnora was just about to finish her plate when one of the Einherjar got really angry at one of them, suddenly she wasn't sure what they were arguing about really. Though the guy had a knife and suddenly stabbed the other's hand, hearing a loud cry of pain Arnora rolled her eyes slightly as she stood up she didnt really feel like getting involved in the fight to be honest. Though it was rather entertaining to see the fight ensue however.

🌻 Runa Johansson 🌻

Location:Under the Sea -> Helheim -> Hotel Valhalla - Reception
Skills: Norwegian

As the pressure around her increased, her lungs building like they were filled with molten fire, Runa kicked and flailed desperately. It was no use. The vatnavaettir continued to dive deeper and deeper below the water, pulling its demigod prey along with it. Her strength ebbed out of her body, as the ocean itself crushed her and as things went dark, the young wiccan hoped that her spirit would find rest in the Summerlands before the wheel of life would turn again. She closed her eyes, succumbing to death, the toy lightsaber still gripped in her hand.

Her eyes snapped open, suddenly alert as she gasped for breath - the air was sharp, icy, and cold, nothing like the heat and humidity of the beach in Oslo. Her throat felt hoarse and she was in no mood to speak, as she scrambled up to her feet. All around her were people in various stages of rot and decay, the living dead. She gulped slightly, coming to the conclusion that this had to be the home of the damned, some sort of afterlife of punishment. Her heart sank. It made sense however. She deserved this. Her body felt like lead as she walked forward, realizing that she was on a bridge, one of many that led to a gigantic gate.

"Dyp fred fra løpebølgen til deg... Dyp ro i den rennende luften til deg... Dyp fred fra den stille jorden til deg... Dyp fred for de lysende stjernene til deg... Dyp fred med uendelig fred til deg," Runa whispered, reciting a wiccan prayer for the dead in her native tongue. None of the other shambling dead interacted with her, which she preferred - she kept to herself in life and she didn't see a reason to do so in death. She deserved to be here, to be punished for her failings and faults.

She only lifted her head once she reached the gate, choking back a gasp of fear as she glimpsed a gigantic, gruesome giant. Her eyebrows knitted in confusion as he exclaimed in English that she wasn't supposed to be there - this was the afterlife for the damned, didn't she belong? Runa barely registered what he had called her when the gatekeeper charged and she instinctively turned her head, her heart pounding out of fear even though she was already dead, as everything went dark - again.

Her eyes snapped open. Runa expected to find herself back in the cold and miserable land of death. Instead... she was in what looked like a hotel lobby. It took her a moment to register that someone was holding her. "...Hallo?" she whispered, her hands trembling. "Kan jeg bli lagt ned?" she asked, her voice so quiet it was barely audible.

Skill: Longsword

Dalisy was angry. That was a usual state for her so it wasn't unusual. At the moment though she was using that anger to spar with a fellow einherjar. She was hungry, it was lunchtime, but she wasn't ready to eat. First, train.

She swung at the other einherjar, going for a sideswipe, but he blocked her. They were well matched. Even if they killed each other right here and now it wouldn't matter. Not in the Hotel. And as far as Dalisy was concerned it wouldn't matter outside the Hotel.

She took a deep breath and continued the spar. They traded blow for blow and block for a block until finally as she went in for an attack her partner took advantage of an opening it left and hit her really hard in the rips. Her ribs were now heavily bruised, she considered her next breath, they weren't broken, but it hurt like hell.

Dalisy pressed. But her partner didn't back down now that he had the upper hand. It was in short order that Dalisy had to surrender. She did it through gritted teeth. More anger seething through her. He had gotten better since their last spar. "Tomorrow. Same time. And I won't be holding back, letting you get away with feints like that." She told him, spitting it out through the pain. Maybe something was broken. It wouldn't matter for too long, but it hurt for now. She didn't even hear the guy's response. She would be in the training room the next day either way. And possibly finding a way to destroy him in another way.

She walked over to her towel and water bottle. Dalisy took a few sips of water while she wiped her face and neck. She was sweaty and felt gross. Dalisy wanted a shower. And to stab something. She decided to stab something then take a shower. At a dummy, she let off some steam. Putting as much strength behind each blow till her body wouldn't even let her pick up the sword anymore. Dalisy was still pissed, but she felt a little better.

After a quick shower, she went down to the Feast Hall. She was starving. Arnora was there so Dalisy headed to sit near her. She looked at the pair of einherjar fighting, considered joining the fight. Her rib hurt too much still so she sat, a plate was delivered and she turned to Arnora. "What is this about?" She gestured to the two fighters, then starting digging into her lunch. Her mind was turning over options for dealing with the guy she had been fighting herself.

Klara Blake

To say that Klara was somewhat bored was a bit of an understatement. Being dead for over 300 years sometimes could be insanely boring, and killing other people in the hotel only was entertaining for so long, especially considering the fact that it was always the exact same people, and sometimes they never tried out new things or whatever! It bugged the hell out of her, but she never said anything, just figuring her killing a few of them often enough they would get the hint. Seriously, why do that? Maybe she should set a trap somewhere and watch as someone ends up getting killed by it. That certainly would be entertaining.

Of course, then she heard something going on over in the reception area, and she saw her friend Nadia get up from where she was and heading over there. Figuring that she had nothing better to do, Klara decided to follow after her, seeing a girl being brought in by a Valkyrie, and she went over to see who the new person was. "Wow, a new person, hello there," Klara said with a bit of a wave, acknowledging both the Valkyrie and Runa, "What's your name? Oh, and welcome!"

"Selvfølgelig lille." The Valkyrie said as she gently set Runa down onto the ground, as Hunding walked over giving Runa a friendly smile. "How are you doing?" He asked, in English, hopefully she did understand English though Hunding wasn't really sure before he spoke again. "Welcome to Hotel Valhalla." Hunding said, before letting out a groan as he heard Helgi coming into the room finally after getting off of the elevator, seeing the new arrival. "Welcome, to your afterlife Hunding here can show you to your room and where you will be staying until Ragnarok." Helgi said, as Hunding shook his head, while looking at Klara and Nadia who had decided to join them in the reception.

"I'm Nadia it's nice to meet you." She said as she extended a hand over towards Runa and gave her a friendly smile, Helgi had gone off into the office nearby, and Hunding had gone to grab Runa's room key. "This place isn't to bad once you get used to it." Nadia said while looking at Klara and gave her a friendly smile. "You wont mind if we help you get her settled right Hunding?" Nadia asked Hunding as she stuffed her hand into her pocket and gave him a piece of chocolate. "Of course." Hunding said as he perked up a little bit as he started to take the piece of chocolate and started to eat it rather quickly, waving them over towards the elevator.

"Want to come with Klara?" Nadia asked as she made her way over to the elevator. "So, basically you were chosen by Odin, or well one of his Valkyries to be apart of his eternal army for Ragnarok whenever it happens. And yes the Norse gods are actually real to." Nadia said as she entered the elevator looking over at Hunding. "What floor is she on Hunding?" Nadia asked him, looking at the three of them. "Floor 21 same as you two actually." He told her.

"That's for trying to date my girl!" The einherjar yelled as he twisted the knife in the poor guys hand, causing him to yowl in pain, Anora leaned back and started to laugh a little bit as she watched the scene unfolding before her, fighting over a girl was always really stupid in her mind. But watching two guys fighting over the same one was really entertaining to watch anyway as well, she started to take a drink from her cup, when she heard a voice. Arnora turned to look at Dalisy and smiled towards her friend. "They are fighting over a girl apparently." Arnora said with a slight shrug.

The one with a knife in the hand reached for one of his own and then stabbed his attacker in the neck, Arnora quickly picked up her plate before blood started to stain the table. But before the guy could die, he managed to do the same and stabbed his attacker in the throat, they both died within seconds of each other. Though it was pretty common for random einherjar to kill each other whether it was something small or something big. "Well that was fun to watch while it lasted." Arnora said looking to see that her friend was a little bruised up. "What the Hel happened to you?"

🌻 Runa Johansson 🌻

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Reception
Skills: Norwegian, Wicca

The afterlife's default mode seemed to be English. Runa instantly felt wary and crowded as a brunette came up to her, welcoming her to... wherever she was, Summerland or something else entirely. The dark haired woman holding her spoke in Norwegian, which helped to reassure her slightly, but it didn't make her any less overwhelmed. A man with a warty face, wild beard, and a bellhop's uniform came over to her and gave her the name of this place - Hotel Valhalla.

Her mind was buzzing, making it difficult to focus. Another person came up to her - she was really feeling incredibly flustered and cornered with everyone coming up to her at once - in a green suit with untamed hair almost like a lion's mane. The words Ragnarok and Valhalla kept buzzing around in her head, as she tried to remember what they referred to. Everything here was norse - originating from her homeland of Norway. It finally clicked. Ragnarok was the death and rebirth of the world, the twilight of the norse gods. And Valhalla - or Hotel Valhalla - was what she thought of as the Summerland, the afterlife, home to the Vikings.

"Jeg er Runa... Sorry, my name is Runa," she said quietly, switching to English. Her accent was rather faint. Her legs felt like jelly as she walked over with the others - Nadia, the brunette, and Hunding. Nadia's explanation matched most of what she knew from Wicca - that Valhalla was where Odin's army lived until the twilight of Ragnarok. It didn't make sense to her that it was a hotel, although she couldn't really imagine an alternative for it.

The giant's words echoed harshly through her mind again - they had called her a child of Balder. She decided to keep that information to herself for now. In the elevator, she moved into the back corner, trying to carve out a bit of personal space. "... Why me?" she then asked softly. She didn't understand how she was worthy of being a part of Odin's army.

"There are better things to kill over." Dalisy sighed and lifted her own plate and drink when the blood started flooding her way. "They'll be back at it by dinner, or if we are unlucky breakfast." Dalisy said partially as a joke, partially as reassurance that maybe they'd have more entertainment by the pair of them.

"Oh this? Not much. I just found someone I need to kick the ass of tomorrow." She said shrugging. Dalisy was still angry, but that was basically her default state. Nothing new. She munched on her food looking at the blood. Death was meaningless they were all dead and there was no coming back from it. She couldn't imagine an einherjar being frightened by it or blood. Except, maybe someone brand new.

Dalisy remembered being new, it wasn't that many years ago. But even with that, she didn't remember fearing pain, or blood, or death. She wondered briefly if that was a prerequisite for being an einherjar. Lack of fear. Lack of good decision making. People who were good at making decisions didn't go stabbing each other in the throat over some girl. Also, if the girl was an einherjar she should have been there defending her own honor and choices.

Klara Blake

She listened to what was being said around her, smiling somewhat at Runa as she heard Nadia talking to Hunding about what area of the hotel Runa's room was. "I can definitely say that after a while you kind of get used to being here... Nadia here has only been here for a few years, I died way back during what history now dubs as the Salem Witch Trials I believe, oh, I'm Klara Blake by the way," she said, nodding her head towards Runa as Hunding said that Runa was on the same floor as the one their rooms were on. "Oh goody, you're on the same floor as us!"

Klara followed them both into the elevator, and listened to Runa's question (she seemed like a quiet individual overall) about why was she there. Many people questioned that whole thing for the most part, the whole why were they there when they think they shouldn't be. She had honestly questioned that, especially since in her day and age the Norse gods most definitely were not really mentioned, it was certainly an interesting thought. "I mean... It depends really, did you die helping others or defending other people?" Klara asked her softly, figuring it might be better to talk to Runa in a softer tone at this point. "I mean... I died freeing people who were wrongly imprisoned, and who were going to be executed."

"I've only been dead for two years, you are the ancient one here Klara." Nadia said sticking her tongue out at her friend as they piled into the elevator together, seeing Runa's face she looked really stressed out over everything that was going on. Which was completely understandable as well. She listened to Klara as she told Runa on how she actually died, Nadia remembered the night she died very well actually. She was out on a camping trip, with her cousin who she rarely ever did see anyway who was close to her age actually as well, she noticed dragur that night and she defended her cousin while she went to get help, before being killed herself.

"I died when Viking zombies decided to come out, my cousin was there and told her to run away while holding them off." Nadia said, cringing slightly she didn't like seeing the undead at all. Which was actually her fear seeing them again. Eventually Floor 21 came up and Hunding got off first and then Nadia, there were a few people on the 21 floor's lounge area. There was a scream as someone threw an axe directly at someone's chest. Nadia cringed slightly seeing that, before continuing to follow Hunding, though she stayed close to Runa just in case she needed anything.

"That's kind of common here, but don't worry he will be back in a few hours." Nadia said, as they walked down to a hallway and eventually there was a door with Runa's name on it, and Hunding unlocked it for her, allowing her to enter first. The room looked much like what Runa's would have looked like, anything and everything that was important to her was there as well.

"Though I find it entertaining." Arnora said giving a slight shrug, as two Valkyries came flying down they looked at one another for a moment before shaking their heads slightly before lifting the bodies up off the table to take them off to their rooms. And then a third swooped down to clean up the blood as well. "Hopefully we can get a rerun of it in a few hours." Arnora said with a slight laugh as she sat back down. "Do you want me to kick their ass for you?" Arnora asked Dalisy looking over at her friend for a moment.

She had been here for thousands of years it felt like and she didn't really have anything else to do really. "So, what do you want to do anyway?" Arnora asked, there were a lot of activities To the Death here and a lot of them were pretty entertaining and fun as well sometimes to.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor Twenty One

Runa relaxed slightly as Klara shifted into a softer tone, responding better to the lowering of the overall volume. She didn't do well with crowds, especially crowds in an unfamiliar afterlife after the revelation that her father was a god and that she had died with a plastic lightsaber in her hand. Despite feeling overall healthier than she ever had before, it was difficult to breathe, her lungs refusing to fill up with as much air as she needed. "I-I was at the beach... These water horses were drowning people... I tried to help. I guess I failed at that," she said quietly, looking at her feet.

She was listening attentively to what Klara had said - she lived during the Salem Witch Trials and died trying to help free those accused. That was the bravest thing Runa had ever heard in her life, she couldn't help but be in awe of her. Nadia had died fighting zombies, protecting her cousin - a similarly heroic act. Runa doubted that her actions at the beach had really helped anyone. All she had succeeded in doing was to get herself killed.

Her moody, morose inner dialogue was cut off as an axe flew from out of nowhere and killed someone. "Hva?" she exclaimed in her native tongue - what? She swallowed thickly as Nadia explained that the dead man would be back again later. This place was getting more and more overwhelming by the second.

As they reached her room though, where she noticed her name was written in English and there were then runes underneath it, Runa actually smiled. The wardrobe area was filled with various bits of clothing, almost all of it black. There were books on a shelf by the fireplace, largely covering astronomy. A photo of her family was on the mantle. The air inside felt a little easier to breathe as Runa went inside. She then turned, looking at the people who were helping her. She felt guilty for a brief moment that she hadn't been entirely honest with them, not sharing what had happened with the gatekeeper.

"... So what do you... do all day?" Runa asked quietly.

"I've got it. I want the satisfaction of breaking a limb of his tomorrow." She said with a grin, letting the Valkyries clean around her. The lack of specification of which limb could have easily implied she intended on breaking his neck. Not that it mattered here. Death was temporary in the Hotel. She finished her meal and stood.

"I need some time still before we could spar, but I'd be down for the river rapids. Interested?" The afterlife had a lot of options for stuff to do. Dalisy had her favorite things. The River Rapids was good for getting some steam off and was surprisingly fun. It, of course, had great risk. The temporary death of the Hotel was easily available to someone who failed to see a rock or other hazard.

"It also means that I've got a few years on you when it comes to fighting skills so ha!" Klara responded to Nadia, sticking her tongue out at her friend in retaliation. Runa seemed a bit overwhelmed by everything, and she just shrugged when Nadia mentioned how she had died. Viking zombies were definitely a strange thing to come across, but eh, she was perfectly fine having died fighting for the freedom of others, as well as dying fighting another human.

Hearing what Runa was saying about her own death, she nodded her head slightly at her. "That sounds like an interesting fight... You were trying to help people, even if you died, you probably distracted them long enough to save some from their attack Runa, don't be so hard on yourself," she said with a smile as she followed after them into the lounge area. "As to what we do, well that is typically up to what others want to do, but usually training in some capacity. I mean afterall, we are here to prepare for Ragnarok..."

Nadia dug into her pocket for a moment and pulled out a little chocolate for Hunding, it was always something that the guy really liked for some reason, Hunding closed his eyes and smiled at the little gift. "Just call on me if you need me, the reception desk is always open for any questions or concerns." Hunding said as he turned and left, Nadia's shook her head slightly at Klara's teasing she did have a lot more time here then she did for sure. "You still look good for an old woman anyway." Nadia said jokingly as she turned to Runa as she entered her room for the next long while.

"Oh, the Vatnavaettir, ive heard some stories of them." Nadia said softly hearing some stories from one of the older people in Hotel Valhalla who had actually encountered them before. Drowning sounded like a really horrible way to go, she looked at Runa as she asked them what they did here, and Klara beating her to it as well. "There's a lot of activities here at the hotel, like Poker for example. Though the twist is it's usually to the death." Nadia said to Runa, she wasn't sure on what her opinion was on dying again and coming back to life sometime later. "And then theres the Battlefield everyone tends to participate in, which is pretty fun. Then theres the Feast Hall of the Slain where we have our meals as well."

Everyone seemed to have gone back to their lunch right now and Arnora turned her attention back over towards Dalisy as she finished up eating the rest of her lunch. "I would chop off a limb if I were you instead." Arnora said smirking a little bit, she knew that death didn't last long at all while here but bleeding out still really did suck as well. She stood up and stretched slightly as another Valkyrie swooped down to clean up Arnora's mess. Arnora started to smile a little bit and nodded she certainly wouldn't mind doing a little whitewater rafting it always was pretty fun as well.

"Sure sounds like fun to me." Arnora said as she started to leave the Feast Hall and started to make her way over towards the elevator looking over her shoulder towards Dalisy and punched the elevator button. It didn't take to long until it came and Arnora stepped in just as a few Einherjar went to get off. "So get into any other trouble today?" Arnora asked, knowing that Dalisy did tend to stir up trouble a lot more than she did.

Runa nodded slightly, considering what Nadia and Klara were saying. She was always like this around new people, a bit muted, guarded, and shy. It didn't help that she had just been killed trying to save people from the vatnavaettir earlier that day, only to then be told by a mysterious gatekeeper in another afterlife that her father was the god Balder. It would take her some time to adjust and get comfortable, to get used to this life - well, afterlife. She would get there eventually, Runa knew that logically. At some point the axes flying everywhere and games to the death would just be normal, not the sort of thing that would give her a panic attack. She thought for a moment, before sitting down on a couch. She pulled her feet up, so that way her knees were pushed up against her chest.

"So the Norse gods are real," Runa said softly. "Where are they then, exactly? Like... Balder? Where's he?" Runa asked. She didn't want to tell them about her visions, she didn't know if she could trust them yet - maybe they wouldn't believe her as well and laugh if she told them she had just found out her father was Balder. "Do the gods have children here - like half gods?" she pressed on, the term coming a bit unnaturally to her as English wasn't her first language and demigod wasn't something they covered in vocab quizzes.

Dalisy nodded that was a good idea. Maybe the leg. Those had really important blood vessels in them and people tended to bleed out quickly when they had that cut. Or maybe lower so the bleed out was slower. The pair of them made their way to the elevator. At Arnora's question, she snorted.

"None yet, except what you see here, but the day is still young." Dalisy said and pointed at the obvious bruises. Her rib still hurt so it was likely it was broken, which would make the rapids that much more entertaining, and dangerous. She would have to push through the pain to survive. The rapids were already bone breakingly dangerous. This would add some fun to it.

She nodded at the Einherjar exiting the elevator, before taking up their vacated spots. Even though the Hotel was massive they were quickly at the right level. Dalisy grinned looking at the stomach-dropping drops and obstacles. At least death came with entertaining pastimes.

"Don't worry about what she said about things tending to be to the death. After all, not like we can actually die again while we're here, you eventually come back after a while," Klara added to what Nadia said with a shrug, as she figured that Runa might freak out at being told sometimes Poker was played to the death. Most people found that concept a bit off putting once they showed up at the hotel, though one easily got used to it after a while, just it took some longer then others to come around to getting used to the idea.

Hearing Runa ask about the gods having children randomly made her raise a bit of an eyebrow. Most forms of mythology talked about there being demigods or gods having kids with animals and everything else (*cough cough* Loki). "Yeah, it's pretty common for there to be demigods, even though not everyone here is a demigod. Actually both Nadia and I are demigods. My father is Thor, the God of Thunder," she explained simply, figuring that she'd leave Nadia to explain to Runa who her godly parent is.

Nadia walked into Runa's room closing the door behind her so that way no one else would intrude really, she gently rested a hand on Runa's shoulder in a way to try and comfort her. "Yeah not everyone here is a demigod, but my dad is Frey, the god of summer." Nadia said as far as she knew he mostly spent his time in Alfheim or in Vanaheim. She wasn't sure where every single god actually was but she knew that they did spend their time in Asgard at least the Aesir gods and goddesses did. While the Vanir spent their time in Vanaheim and the like but she thought for a moment looking at Runa when she specifically asked about Baldur.

"Myth says he's been dead for a really long time by Loki tricking his twin brother Hod into shooting him." Nadia said, but this was way before her time and the myth could have changed or something like that. She looked towards Klara for a moment and then over at Runa the girl was really shy and probably shaken up over dying she was like that to for a few days when she died. "Is there anything we can get you, or maybe a tour or something?" Nadia offered.

Arnora Skadidottir

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Floor 12
Skills: N/A

As Arnora stepped onto Floor 12 it felt more like she was out in the wilderness again back on Midgard, it was always really nice and reminded her of home growing up as well. There were a few other Einherjar as well, they were getting ready to use one of the many boats that were there used for the whitewater rafting. "Lets get you some more broken bones and bruises then." Arnora said jokingly as she grabbed herself an older looking kayak, there were some of the newer modern day looking ones. But Arnora did prefer the ones that were more in her time.

Arnora then tossed Delisy an or for their kayak and set their boat down onto the water, the enterance was usually the smoothest before going deeper into the floor. She hopped in first and looked over at Dalisy motioning her to get in whether or not she wanted to sit in front or behind her, as she heard a couple scream in the distance. Arnora saw a body slowly floating in the water next to her kayak and she pushed it away.

Runa Johansson

Location: Hotel Valhalla - Floor Twenty One: Runa's Room
Skills: N/A

Klara didn't look like a daughter of Thor to her. She had seen some of the Marvel movies in theaters and pictured Thor as pretty much looking like Chris Hemsworth. Runa would have expected the daughter of Thor to be blonde - maybe to look like Tom Hiddleston in a blonde wig with some makeup on. Nadia said that her father was Frey, the God of Summer. Again, Nadia wasn't what she would have expected either - she imagined that the child of a summer good would look a bit more like a hippie. Both Nadia and Klara just looked like normal undead viking warriors... as normal as that could be, at the very least.

Runa was more interested though in hearing about Balder's fate. He had been slain then by his brother. In her vision - or whatever it had been as she died - the gatekeeper had warned her that she wouldn't find Balder there. Maybe it was a literal message, the gatekeeper claiming that Balder wasn't in that icy, cold, and miserable afterlife. Or maybe it was more of a threat, a warning that if she went to look for him there, she would be stopped. But if Balder was her father, then what Nadia said about him being dead for a long time couldn't be true. He had to be alive at least when Runa was conceived about seventeen years ago. She doubted seventeen years would qualify as a long time to Nadia, since Klara apparently had been dead for centuries.

"I wouldn't mind a tour," Runa answered, still deep in thought. "If you guys are busy though, you don't have to... I don't want to be a burden." Her Norwegian accent was a little bit thicker now, as she was focusing less on her words and more on her thoughts.

Dalisy laughed at Arnora's joke as she climbed into the kayak, catching the oar deftly. "Still stuck in the past I see." She said tapping the wood on the kayak. Dalisy didn't actually mind, she had used the older style plenty of times. Basically any time she did this with Arnora. But she liked to tease her friend. She glanced at the body, and not recognizing the person ignored them. They'd wake up in their room come morning. It just didn't matter.

Dalisy sat in front of Arnora. She liked the front of roller coasters and basically anything that gave a jolt of adrenaline. If she was this needy for feeling alive at only five years of being dead she didn't want to know what it would be like to be as old as Arnora or some of the others. She refused to fade though. Dalisy would go out in a fight, the proper and only way for an Einherjar to die.

Klara Blake

Location: Hotel Valhalla: Floor Twenty-One
Skills: N/A

Klara listened to what the other two were saying regarding everything that was going on, and she couldn't help but think that perhaps they ought to leave Runa alone for a little bit, considering she was brand new and really needed to potentially collect her thoughts later on. However given everything happening at once, and Klara knowing that she would have rather had someone around to guide her really, there weren't really too many people that she got along with, but there were some who had helped her out when she had first showed up in Valhalla.

"I think a tour is a great idea, and don't worry about being a burden or anything, we have a lot of time before we really have to do anything. And killing other people even though they are going to come back get's a little tiring after a while if you ask me. So I'm perfectly fine with showing you around the place. Not too sure about Nadia but that's how I feel about it, if you are up for it of course," Klara said towards Runa, giving her a smile. She figured that Runa could use one, and then probably would crash afterwards for a while from all of the chaos.
