@Bitterblue111No problem! I always try to reserve at least 15-30 minutes for a post, but I always put RL first. Some weeks there are emergencies and I don't post at all.

I'm hoping there will be other smaller fights while in route to Vaeros to allow the characters a chance to get a feel for how the others fight. Allow the characters to develop strategies based on how they work together and who can, and is willing, to do what.

Example: Rosarina is a pyromancer, however she is hesitant to use her magic because of the pain/mutilation it puts her body under.
No one would know this, IC, just as they do not yet know she's anything more than an elf with a long sword.

@Moonshadow I agree, battle strategies and tactics would probably develop naturally over time as the characters learn to deal with one another. I imagine their first few fights will be more likely everyone getting in each other's ways as they have little idea how the others fight. Discussions of it would also probably something that would happen during some in character pow wow as well.

As far as Siege engines go- they're big and heavy, expensive, time consuming to build and probably require a full crew to use- so probably a bit beyond the scale of this adventure for Odran. He might try to build things for characters, if they get along well enough and he has access to the right materials... but its more likely than not Odran's tools are mainly going to be there for maintaining equipment, most likely his own, maybe some others' too.

Yeah, I guess you're right. Zav fights with archery, basic magic, and his lack of skill at close melee actually makes him an accidental slaying machine if he has a GIANT-I'm talking HUGE-sword.

I have plans for small skirmishes, yes. We are gonna have our first interaction with Vaeros in bit, where our COs first get on his radar, and yes, I imagine we will all fall apart for a while. I have an outline going.

Working on a post, but it's not going to be my best work. I'm really struggling with writing lately, this is a shitty way to start an RP with writers block

Are we allowed to have NPCs that we control? Not godmodding, as the NPCs are our characters, but you can't control another person's NPC, only your own.

Yes, the training is actually part of the plan coming up. Everyone will have an NPC at first, and eventually we’ll double in pairs to have our COs train together.
