Would any of y'all be interested in a City of Mist RP? CoM is a game kind of like D&D, the concept is regular people living regular lives, with magic within. Each of these people, known as Rifts, has the powers and essences of characters, objects or places from books, games, movies, mythologies, history within them. Your plumber could have the powers of a Salamander, and your boss is Hades. Even if you aren't interested in the rp, I highly recommend checking out the game itself, very fun and the creator is a pretty cool dude.

Not completely familiar with the system, but what I've seen is interesting. A good mix of cerebral ("Mythos vs. Logos") and comic book punch-up. It looks like one of the more developed PbtA games with a bit of Fate mixed in.

I'm interested but unfamiliar with the game, but if it's similar to D&D I can intuit the rules easily.

Perhaps interested, I'll wait for more details on RP.

I suppose I should ask now: do you have a story already in mind, or are we doing this in the classic PbtA style of hashing it out as a group?

I was planning on doing a bit of both. I don't want to run this as an actual game of CoM, there's Roll20 for that. I want this to be an rp taking place in the world using its rules. I have story threads that can be stumbled into and followed, but ultimately it is up to the people. They can be apart of a crew or they can be completely separate from each other, that's up to them. So it is going to start out with the people that are apart of the rp doing what they want, but as they story progresses certain story lines will begin to develop. I intend to sprinkle hooks throughout that can be explored or ignored at your indiscretion.
