Anyways, the baseline of my next turn is:
-Dex tries going unto the city, but is stopped by Jared.
-Jared runs after Yankeru & Kensie, as they aren't as physically strong as he is. So he goes to help defend the two.

A few things I should clear up.

Most civilians were unharmed. Of the city's 30,000 residents, 5 stayed behind to fight and got killed in the crossfire. The rest, she'd given time to escape by leaking her arrival ahead of time.
The three hundred captives are all soldiers, men who either fled or surrendered.
Around 7700 soldiers were killed in the fight. 2000 retreated safely out of the city.

Darn it you are right, well I guess the civilians who Yakeru saved were perhaps of a family who did not make it out in time? Those numbers are unknown to the party at this time but thanks again for putting them!

Sure! That's feasible. They could be a family that stayed behind to support their troops. The goblins operate on the assumption that anyone who didn't escape is a combatant, so the family was likely captured because they didn't put up an actual fight.
